Optional09: I would sue any medical facility that has the cleaner insulting me with my child health condition, how the cleaner gets to know my child’s health condition is the bridge of patients private information rules by the hospital. SS is not writing on anyone’s forehead. You can sue for insulting, but you won't win that privacy except you prove she disclosed it to someone that doesn't know. All hospital staffs passively or actively get patient info. It is unavoidable. That is the reason why all cadre of staffs must sign/take a oath to protect patients privacy. Like someone can walk into the hospital clinic. By seeing the name of doctor attending to him or by seeing the building he entered or tests ordered, I can know the primary disease |
Family › Re: Please Help My Husband Does This Weird Stuff by SmallmebigGod: 1:33am On Aug 14, 2019 |
Sweettwenty8: Finaly i decided to create an account
What's up Nairaland, Please Pardon my English.
So me and my man been married for a year now but here's the thing he does that pisses me OFF!!! TOTALLY!!!! ehn, every time I cook rice and stew (fried stew/fish/meat) he'd ask me to go outside the estate to go and buy Ewa(beans) (I'm using Ewa because that's how he pronounces it. So I noticed this earlier and I started Cooking beans anytime I cook rice. He'll still request for 'Ewa' the Mama put beans made and sold by the roadside
While we dated he'd even ask me to cook for himself and his friends and if my cooking was bad, I'd have gotten feedback somehow.. how can I serve food and he'll ask me to go get 'Ewa' at Shangisha Outside Magodo Gra to mix his rice even when we have visitors he will send me a whatsapp message to still go get Ewa most times he'll even book uber if i tell him I'm too tired to drive I'm tired of going to buy Ewa!!
How do i get to know what the problem is, because it's definitely not my cooking, 2 of my office buddies they don't buy lunch because i bring enough food for 3 of us everyday and they'd have stopped eating it if it was bad I know you have read plenty mentions. I hope you still read this 1. When you bring topic like this to nairaland only few people will give advice the rest will just laugh and make jest. Don't take the jesters serious and don't feel bad at their words. I don't blame them, the primary reason 70% people peep on their NL account is to laugh 2. In my own view... It will be counter productive to 'sit your husband down' and talk to him about it. Let's get it straight relationship differs, you have been accommodating that excess , if you change to 'sit him down and talk to him' approach you will be sending wrong signals. 3. You can still talk about it, in a very unserious and joking manner, like just joking about the whole thing, I'm sure you understand 4. If I am to use myself as example, I love my wife's cooking, I crave for it, I work till late at work and I sometimes go hungry all day cos other food doesn't have taste to me but there is a food I love that my wife can no make well because they don't eat it in there family at all, she only learnt it when we were about to get married, so like she is still learner when it comes to that food, sadly I also don't know how to cook it. She is very good in others, in my own case I try to prevent her from cooking the food by choosing alternatives sometimes she just want to cook the food because she knows I love it. So you might be an excellent cook but not just good enough for him on that ewa thingy. Learning from the mama will not even work. I can tell you, He feel the different, outside food is like 'cocaine' true true . So I advice you allow him eat is ewa, suggest to him how to be buying it instead of you going. Over time it will usually clear from our eyes. Or if it doesn't clear it will get to the point that you will be the one that won't care I hope my long story is useful |

Optional09: That center will be shut down if there is an Health Information Privacy Rules in Nigerian. In the US it’s called HIPAA.
Many things are wrong with Nigeria. Government don’t understand importance and the concept of policies and citizens/information protection
Everything that goes on in Nigeria starts and stops at party level Kindly share which part of the HIPAA was breached here. The woman is also a staff of the hospital, and this was just an information she saw in the line of her duty. She didn't share it outside the hospital. May be disrespect and insult to client but breach of privacy I will need to see which rule was broken. |

AlliengodJ: Hi Fam,
Pls which of the Africa countries can I visit in 3 months time? Try applying for Tanzanian visa online with my Nigeria passport but they insist for local referal host to get a visa on arrival & also same thing for Uganda, am a permanent resident in the US but i do like to explore east Africa, Visa on arrivals only (2-3 countries would be cool) There are lot of Tourism agencies and agents in Tanzania, am sure one of them can invite you. BTW I'm suprised with your US PR/even Visa , you can't get Tanzania Visa on arrival. Have you checked well? Here in Nigeria someone can even submit your passport for you and you get the visa as long as the required documents are there |

sonnie10: Sir, I speak as a stakeholder. The international atomic energy organization has record of all facilities in the world where radiation therapy is done. You can visit their website for updated information. The few places in Nigeria, it’s either the machines are not functional or the are no qualified medical personal. In the whole of Nigeria only two, one in Lagos (private hospital) and another in Abuja. Yes there are issues of functionality but there are more than 5 centres. I work in one of these centres so I also know where we do refer patient to , when our machines are down |

sonnie10: Not sure if there is any functional radiation treatment center in Nigeria. Surgery alone would not get to areas of metastasis. There is none existing for us to appreciate. None whatsoever! If you know someone that need one just ask instead of assuming, there are centres in Nigeria. Definitely not enough and some are too expensive but there are . |

Making mistakes is not the problem, not realizing you made it is where you going to have problem.. Making mistake is a problem. You will only agree if you are made to take one course of chemotherapy. There is no need sugarcoating this event , it is what it is, Top UK hospital wrongly treated someone for a cancer she never had. It happened in UK , it can happen anywhere. There are people receiving chemotherapy for Brest CA in Nigeria and the don't loose their life 'in the process of everything' . Appreciate what you have, no everything that is Naija that is bad |

Levant: You really have no fear of God. Change tour moniker, please.
Watch the videos of yesterday's bloody event in Abuja. All the videos show well armed and trigger happy police officers dispersing unrelenting protesters with bullets and dropping them dead. Crimes against humanity.
No video evidence shows Shi'ites shooting at police. Maybe next the security officers will hire shooters dressing like Shi'ites to shoot at security forces to give them bad name. That's the only thing that remains because all attempts to frame them and portray them as armed and violent have failed. How can protesters marching with their children, women and turbaned clerics shoot at police? This govt is evil!!! Buhari is evil.
Look at the pictures of the DCP killed. He sustained gunshots at the back and side of his head. Those are from stray bullets. Its friendly fire. Not Shi'ites gunfire. Shi'ites were pictured with throwing stones and sending back teargas shot by police after the police obstructed their protest march. Shi'ites have the right to protest and march peacefully. They are Nigerians. It is their human and constitutional rights, whether Buhari and his bandits like it or not. The police are acting like armed bandits shooting at unarmed protesters. With their numbers and zeal, if those protesters were armed, they would have eliminated each and every single policeman trying to stop them yesterday.
All those trying to implicate the Shi'ite IMN protesters in gunshots, you're used to being denied your human and constitutional rights to protest. You want to remain slaves. God fearer, based on pictures you made assertions on the dead. You think that man's life is not as important as shite . how callous and inhuman can you be. In post , I left it to possibilities that must be considered before concluding but for you Mr Know it all Forensics, you confirmed stray bullets in the comfort of your bedroom. |

niaralandtopuser: Show us the video of shite shooting police officer. The officer may have been struck by the stray bullet of his own men I don't understand how Nigerians think and judge situations. Is this the first time Shites will be using arms? You will rather believe that police stray bullets killed a good number of their own officers, just because it appeal to tour bias |
