Crime › Re: Why We Shot Abia Kidnappers In Their Private Parts – Nigerian Police by SmallmebigGod: 1:01pm On Dec 24, 2017 |
eagleeye2: This is not about hatred for the NPF... The police already overpowered those criminals. The question is, why shoot them at their genitals? The kidnapped man will have justice when those criminals are rightfully convicted in a competent law court. Otherwise the police are no better than those kidnappers. We are not there to ascertain that they were shot at after being overpowered. The victim lost his life here from torture by the kidnappers and we are here fighting for them bad guys |

Hatred for police taken too far.
Are we saying the police shot at during the operation have no right to fight back. Are we saying the man kidnapped has no right tonne defended |

Bigajeff: This is the genotype possibility I'm sure of but I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong.
AA+AA= AA,AA(Good)AA+AS= AA,AS(Good)AA+SS= AS,AS(Good)AA+AC= AA,AC(Good)AS+AS= AA,AS,SS (Bad)AS+SS= AS,SS (Bad)SS+SS= SS,SS (Bad)AS+AC= Need adviceAC+SC= Need adviceAC+SS= Need advice.
But can AA + AS = SS I'm still arguing this is not possible. I need expert advice for this possibility.
mod, lalasticlala please let this hit the frontpage This has been trashed here with threads and counter threads just search. The only possibility is if the AA is not actually AA genotype I.e it was determined by HB electrophoresis alone. This person might actually be genotype A with a thalassemic trait but misdiagnosed as AA. A co inheritance of S gene and the thalassemic that may occur known SB thal can also present like SS and has also been misdiagnosed as SSS |

Politics › Re: I Didn't Buy Any Property In Maitama From EFCC - Femi Falana Slams AGF, Malami by SmallmebigGod: 11:00pm On Nov 25, 2017 |
DonCandido: It is either Mr. Falana (SAN) is a liar or a smart Alec hoping to play on the ignorance of many Nigerians on how AMCON works or the functions of the EFCC on issues bordering on economic crime.
It is a notorious facts that bad debts of deposit Money Bank are bought at a fraction of their book value by AMCON and AMCON then institutes CIVIL ACTION in Court to recover the debt.
The ostensible reason for arrangement is to prevent the collapse of the Banks through bad or non performing loans.
The recovery process by AMCON is a civil action. It does not prevent the EFCC from investigating the company that borrowed the money; it's directors and the officials of the Bank that gave out the loan for possible infraction or violation of the rules and guidelines governing giving out of loans by the CBN.
Violation of rules and guidelines governing giving out of loans constitutes economic crime which the EFCC has the statutory power to look into as in the instance case.
What transpired in this case is the Mr. Falana SAN had purchased the property which forms part of the assets which AMCON had frozen through Court order and only awaits the filing of the Terms of Settlement for the title in the property to be formally transferred to him.
The relevant questions Mr. Falana ought to be asked by any discerning Nigerian are:
1. Whether Mr. Falana has paid for or made a deposit for the property in question?
2. Whether a memorandum of deposit of tthe money or sale of the property has been issued to him by AMCON in respect of the property?
3. Whether he has taken any overt act to show that possession has been given to him? Are his security men in the property? Is he the one collecting rent on the property at the moment?
In other words, who is exercising acts of ownership over the property; Mr. Falana SAN, AMCON or EFCC?
If the answers to the above are in the positive, the Attorney General is right in his assertion. Mr. Falana is the new owner of the property his valiant denial notwithstanding.
Besides, there is something immoral in a Counsel buying a property in a case in which he represents one of the parties. It gives rise to the spectre of possible collusion.
This ought to be investigated further. Good analysis, but in don't think Mr Falana is representing any of the parties involved in this particular case |

*WHAT IS HAEMOPHILIA* Haemophilia is an inherited bleeding disorder where the person lacks the ability to form a clot which results in prolong bleeding. Some facts about haemophilia are
-persons with haemophilia do not bleed faster but longer -haemophilia is not contagious -one third of cases happens where there is no family -haemophilia affects people of every race, color, tribe and religion
*SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS* -post circumcision bleed -umbilical cord bleed -easy bruising -nose bleeds -haematoma (bleeding to the joints) this result in swelling of the joints.
*How is haemophilia diagnosed?*
If haemophilia is suspected in an individual, the simple laboratory tests at point of care testing include determination of the level of Factor VIII or Factor IX activity in a blood sample. Low levels of factor VIII indicates haemophilia A whereas low levels of factor IX indicate Haemophilia B. The severity of each is classified thus: Severe: Less than 1% of normal factor VIII or factor IX activity in the blood Moderate: 1- 5% of normal Mild: 5 - 30% of normal The less amount of factor VIII or Factor IX produced by the body, the more severe the haemophilia
In developed countries, if the mother is a known carrier of hemophilia, testing can be done before a baby is born. Prenatal diagnosis are done at 9 to 11 weeks by chorionic villus sampling (CVS) or by fetal blood sampling at a later stage (18 or more weeks).
These tests can be done at a Haemophilia Treatment Centre (HTC). The departments of Haematology and Blood Transfusions at the following hospitals serve as HTCs in Nigeria. They are: - Ahmad Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika -Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba - University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin city - University College Hospital, Ibadan - Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano - University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku - State Specialist Hospital, Akure - Gombe Teaching Hospital, Gombe -Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi - Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto - Federal Medical Center, Birnin Kebbi - University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt - Lautech Teaching Hospital, Ogbomosho - Kaduna state University Teaching Hospital, Kaduna
Locate the closest HTC to you.
No permanent cure but it can be well managed
