Ok. What next? |
This woman no wan gree old o. She's even finer than most young girls of nowadays. |
INVESTORBNAIRA:I almost quote you, when I hear Orunmila, I just gentle because I no wan make Orunmila focus on my matter. No worry, may be next time. |
MaleekBanks1:I think he might end up the same route those before him went. It's just a few steps before they lose their relevance 1. They make some money via either legal or illegal means. 2. The money gets in their head and they start behaving like idiots with an intention to be noticed. 3. They get noticed and they get all the girls that have that same type of small brain they have. 4. They have more people interested in their personalities, including law enforcement agents. 5. They all end up getting locked up after evidences have been built against them if their wealth came from illegal means. I haven't met this dude before my whole life, and it's not ok for me to judge him. I just think he should slow down and not run his mouth like he does now. To be frank, I think he's just a kid that mistakenly ran into money, and that's getting to his head. Smarter people than him will keep a low profile, but dude started getting irritating with whatever he spews. I've met his type in the past and they ended up regretting their actions after what followed their former actions. He's indeed just a puppy, young and brainless. |
NextGovernor:What's the point you're trying to make? That you knew a person everyone knows before they knew him and no one knows you? Are you jealous of his fame? He worked hard to get where he is today. Everyone knew when him and Presh were hustling then in the music industry. The drugs stuff u came up with, I never heard of. I've never met Kcee before in person, but I'm a fan of his. What exactly is ur point? |
bigtt76:Lol. Glad I survived the ordeal. |
eyinjuege:While you're right to an extent, these white officers often over-exercise their powers. I was a victim of such treatments in Detroit, Michigan about 9 years ago, and I thought they were going to kill me. My neighbor held me and two others hostage pointing his gun at us, the police came to the house, probably over 15 police vehicles and one negotiator finally talked him into letting his hostages go. I cannot remember the year it happened, I lived in Detroit for about 5 years before moving to Atlanta almost 8 years ago. My first child will be 7 in July, he was born here in Atlanta, so I may be close with the dates. It happened on New Years day. It was snowing badly. He let us leave one at a time, the first two of his hostages were white, they got out of the house and got blankets because it was cold outside. I was the last hostage he let out, as soon as I stepped out, almost 7 police officers pounced on me, threw me in the snow, holding me like they just did this man this thread is about and eventually put me in handcuffs. I was telling them I didn't do anything, that I was just a victim. They didn't listen to me, I thought they were going to kill me. It was freaking cold, I only had on a pair of boxers and a t-shirt before my neighbor came to knock on my door. We were living in a two family home back then, he had the bottom floor, and I was at the top floor. Our relationship was the regular hello/hi type, but he was a cool dude until whatever made him do what he did started with him. We never had problems with each other until he came to my door knocking, I opened the door and he was pointing a shot-gun at me and asked me to just follow him downstairs to his place. I wasn't dressed, I only had on my boxers and a t-shirt and no shoes. I didn't want to get shot, so I had no other choice but to follow and obey him, he had a gun, I'm scared of guns. Yet these many policemen pounced on me in cold snow, holding my head with their collective weights on me and screaming "Stop resisting". I was screaming I wasn't resisting but they had my face buried in snow, I couldn't breathe and they probably didn't hear whatever I was telling them. I was already in handcuffs, how could I possibly be resisting? I just didn't want to die of suffocation nor gunshots . Eventually they bundled me into one of the police cruisers and started asking me about my relationship with the gun man. I told them he's my neighbor, he lived in the flat below and I stayed in the floor above. I had never been to his flat, neither has he been to mine. But I knew him. He just came knocking on my door, when I opened it he pointed his shotgun at me and walked me to his flat downstairs. That was when I saw two other people there crying. Its kinda weird seeing two grown people crying, so what first came to my mind was may be somebody died or something terrible happened. I asked whats happening, why are you people crying? It was one lady and a man. My neighbor responded saying they are his hostages and I'm one of them now, and he was screaming through the window that he now has 3 hostages to the police. At first I thought he was joking until I realized the whole house was surrounded by cops. I knew nothing about what made him do that because we had lived together for over 2 years without any problems. They double checked my story with the other two hostages and confirmed my legal status, no warrants, and was just a hostage like the other two. They then apologized took me off the cuffs and told me I could go, but I couldn't go back to my house because it became a crime scene with police tapes all around it. It was freaking cold, I needed to get dressed and put on a jacket, all that was in my place, but they wouldn't let me in. My neighbor - the gun man that held us all hostage- ended up getting shot. I heard so many gunshots while I was still in handcuffs and in their cruiser, they already had a waiting ambulance right in front of my house and picked him up as soon as he fell. He didn't die though but got locked up for 8 years for that event. I was subpoenaed to show up in court through his trials until his conviction. He was writing me letters from prison apologizing for his actions towards me and explained he was so upset because his girlfriend left him with their baby. But really that was his problem, not mine. Why point a gun at me when I'm not even related to his girlfriend that left him? For me, after they let me go, I had no where to go, my house was taped around because it was a crime scene. I was roaming around streets in boxers, a t-shirt, and bare feet in cold winter. They wouldn't even let me get in my car nor go upstairs to get my car keys because they said that was a part of their investigation. I couldn't even go to my place to get my phone to call someone to come and scoop me up. I felt so humiliated. Why were the other hostages given blankets and I was made to walk around like a mad man? So, sometimes it's not people's faults, the police just make it seem like you're resisting for their own planned accolades. In my case, I never did anything wrong but I was treated like an animal like this man this thread is about. |
Seun Egbagbe comes to mind. |
enemyofprogress:You're right. Na real 'chair', we fit add table sef. |
crackhouse:Arrested for What? He's just doing his job as a lawyer. |
Wow. Even kidnapper get 'fundamental human rights'? |
FriendNG:What is he then? Fulani, Kanuri? What's the difference? He's neither Yoruba nor Igbo, so what else can anyone call him? He's an Aboki abeg. |
Jesusloveyou:Lol. Abeg forgive me. No slap me again, especially when I dey enjoy my beautiful sleep. Lol |
kocvalour:The last time I asked this same question, some imaginary forces woke me with a slap while I was asleep. That slap was hot; it didn't feel good at all. It woke me up. May they not focus on ur matter. |

Iconoclaste:What church did Christ attend? |
hunniebun:Unfortunately I bought a plot of land there last year for about N1m when a friend told me 4th mainland bridge will open up the area. With all the bad news in that area, I don't think it's a good idea to build anything there. It's just too much bad news going on there. |
Exactly 5000? Kontinuu. |

candidbabe:Who is this person you quoted in the bolded? Why is the name so long? I feel like it's torture to name anyone that hard way. Unless ure trying to describe something else, that name is simply too long and could be abbreviated. |
smithsydny:Luggage, like civilized countries do. |
Noblesoul123:Yeah, it's been happening a lot lately. |
Barbaric mentality. Its probably somewhat tolerable when one or two people in a community think like barbarians, when the entire community thinks same way, then they have a huge problem and the entire community needs psychological evaluation, obviously by some qualified professionals from a region far from that backward community. They should all be caged, including their chief, and individually assessed on their psychological and mental balance. Thank God Nigerians don't have access to nuclear bombs. They probably would strapped that gentleman to one and exploded the entire community including themselves because they want to kill a witch. Later their offsprings will blame the government for the disaster their parents created themselves. Backward mentality still flourishing in Nigeria in 2017, weird. May be 3017 will open more eyes, I guess. Would anyone from anywhere in the world want to go to such a place for tourism when it's full of backward people that can just label him or her a witch or wizard or whatever else? The superstitious stories about witches is they fly at night, every living creature that flies have wings, this man doesn't have wings on him, so how the hell is a witch? Unless theres any scientific explanation to how anything fly without wings or other propulsion technologies as we see on drones, aircrafts etc . This man aint no damn witch, hes jus being victimized. Id sue the entire community if i was in his shoes, which of course i know ill never be. Who wants be around barbarians? Nonsense. I don't believe in these witch and wizard nonsense. How come it's only black nations that believe that crap? How many witches have been caught in Europe, Canada, Asia and US? Why is it only Africa where witches and wizards reside. Nonsense. |
miketayo:It's not about how developed a country is that matters to me personally. What I care about is acceptance wherever ure going. I have both US and Nigerian passports and can go anywhere in the world I want to go. But do I want to go everywhere, heck no. Certain places already will profile me because I'm black. They will further profile me because I have ties with Africa. Then they will further profile me because I have ties with Nigeria even though I live in the US. So why would I waste my time traveling to a place where I know I'm already hated because of my skin color? I'll pass on that one, I don't give a damn how rich their country is. I recently rejected a job offer in Thailand after reading about how blacks are treated there, I'm black, I was born that way, that's my identity, plus I'm African, I'm a Nigerian too - that makes me a tripple minority to them, irrespective of my other US citizenship. The idea is simple, there are users everywhere. Why not hire their own citizen and pay them N50k equivalent per month? Why come all the way to Nigeria to find cheap labor? Yet take her passport away from her. Doesn't that mean slavery still exists? Isn't that the same mentality they had when they invaded several countries in Africa and carted away our fore-fathers and fore-mothers as slaves and developed their nations with the free labor our great ones were forced to do for them? Why didn't they enslave their own populace? Why come all the way to Africa, bribing tribal leaders with gin and gun powders and carting away slaves to their lands? Thank God we are more exposed now, and probably smarter than many countries that did that to our ancestors. Probably cos I'm not desperate to leave where I am now and whatever I do, but I'd definitely give any firm that needs me to work in countries I don't feel comfortable with my conditions before leaving where I currently live. I've passed that point in life where someone anywhere in the world would take my passports from me to further enslave me for their personal benefit, rather I'll put them in their spots irrespective of my skin color. That comes with exposure and education. I have both, not many do -many illiterate and unexposed Oyinbos all over the place - yet some of Africa's brilliant minds are willing to settle for less because they haven't yet noticed they need us more than we need them - just in the case of the lady the topic is about. Why leave your country to become a maid to some random foreigner and not expect to be treated as slaves their lazy butts always craved for since slavery days? Heck no, I've passed that long ago and don't think any African should reduce themselves to that point now in this digital age. |
goziedave:You forgot to mention something. Are you a member of his church? Everyone here knows how sheeples think - place the blame on someone else and continuously defend their 'Father in the Lord'. |
Oman ke? Are Nigerians there too? Wetin dem dey find go that kain place? |
Just holding padlocks can't stand as a case in courts. He'll be free of any charge against him. Voodoo isn't recognized in Nigerian constitution. |
veekid:Yup. My papa say we need to manage everything until recession finish him own. |
veekid:I nearly give you one 'Like' for this good question wey u ask. Unfortunately I no fit. As e be, recession dey town, I no want my 'Like' to quick finish before your own. To make up, I'll just 'Share' is that ok by you? Abeg no vex, u understand how town be. We gats manage everything. Boys don dey charge money to give 'Like' these days o. 'Like' no be free anymore, na recession cause am. We can negotiate sha on payment arrangement, then all 'Likes' are urs. ![]() |
