At the boldened, the question should be why should the police give a driver a reason to drag with them in the first place? Has anyone seen a police officer hopping in a potential criminal's vehicle and dragging the steering wheel with him any where else in the world?

Even though I feel bad OP's car got damaged in the process, it would have been a worse situation if the truck rammed over a crowd of innocent people standing where his car was parked because a dumb police officer chose to drag the steering wheel with a driver.

Why u still there if there are no jobs over there. so you want to compare Nigeria rate of unemployment to there with just that one guy?

Note:Each country has it's own rate of unemployment but Nigeria's own is 61% high with our population contributing more of youths...you can't compare any western European country or America with the rate of unemployment here.

I think the idea is simple. Just be prepared before you leap, period.
There may be more jobs overseas than in Nigeria, but you need a means to get to the jobs and shelter of course. Would you take a job where the total amount you make is not enough to put a roof on your head? Would you take a job you can't get to because you don't have a car, and buses dont run everywhere like in Nigeria? All that could be mitigated with proper planning before hopping on the plane.
