In the video he admitted to being a British citizen and that all his children are abroad. He is being disingenuous hahahah
He is a citizen you said, but he is in Nigeria isn't he? So how is that being disingenuous??

Or you don't understand what he said??

So, after person work, another person go chop him chop! Is that fair?
Fairness is getting what your contract states. You have no entitlement beyond that. Secondly, as someone has pointed out to you, there are builders and managers. A builder is typically someone who has technical experience in the area of operations or experience setting up similar businesses. A manager is one who has experience in the area of making money and keeping the flow of business. Trying to be fair is how you manage your kids, not a billion-dollar business.

DiamondsAreFore:
He didn't cite what law Tinubu has broken.

Inasmuch as I despise the incompetence and greed of the current administration, I can assure the opposition parties that Tinubu and his band of merry thieves won't be losing any sleep over these kind of poorly conceived outbursts.
That's clearly not the point. The point is the hypocrisy on display since Obi is doing the exact same but no one has called for his arrest.

That place was called Pedro Bus Stop before Charley Boy. Today, it is Badoo Bus Stop.

With time, even Charley Boy will call it Badoo bus stop.
That badoo name makes no sense. It won't stick because it's not catchy for a bus stop and sensible people have this neural aversion to uttering rubbish like badoo.

Politics › Re: Gambian President, Adama Barrow, Visits Buhari's Family by SmartyPants(m): 10:06am On Jul 26, 2025
naptu2:
Sir Dauda Jawara was prime minister of Gambia from 1962 (before independence in 1965) till 1970 (Queen Elizabeth II was head of state). He became president of Gambia in 1970.

Sir Dauda Jawara was overthrown in a coup in 1994 and Colonel Yahya Jammeh became head of state.

Jammeh transitioned from being a military head of state to a civilian elected president in 1996. He kept changing the constitution to extend his tenure.

Jammeh lost the 2016 presidential election to Adama Barrow, but refused to leave office. Instead he sacked the electoral commission.

ECOWAS told Jammeh to leave office, but he refused.

President Buhari ordered Nigerian Navy warship, NNS Centenary, to Gambia and Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jets flew over Banjul. Senegalese soldiers also massed on the border, ready to invade Gambia and remove Jammeh.

Jammeh got the message and went into exile.

Gambians took to social media to mourn and thank President Buhari when they heard of his (Buhari's) death.
Jammeh wasn't a colonel. He was a captain at the time. Part of the grievances of the coup plotters was that the higher ranks of the Gambian army were filled by Nigerian officers on secondment.

Also Nigerian infantry troops along with Ghanaians were deployed alongside the Senegalese. The Nigerian infantry component was largely composed of airforce special forces troops.
Sports › Re: As A Footballer Who Are You Passing This Too? by SmartyPants(m): 5:40pm On Jul 25, 2025
It all depends on the nature of the players.

A pass to B played through the channel of C is the best pass. However, this is only true if it is a striker like Osimhen. If it is a striker like Zirkzee, delay the pass by running with the ball or by passing to A and then creating a run to create more options.

Actually, C is the worst option here because the middle defender has already anticipated that pass, and he has a head start. By the time C receives the ball, he will have one defender waiting for him in front and another closing on him. Big mistake.

It is B or A.

Do you how many high profile politicians that have gone to Edo this month that you didn't hear about and they didn't tell the governor?

So because someone is popular he has to announce to everyone for each movement he makes?

Is it written anywhere in the constitution?
That's what I'm asking you... Since you know something we and the governor don't know, then tell us... Tell us these high profile politicians that went there without informing the governor.

Why only Obi?

Don't other politicians come to Edo state?
Do you know of any high-profile politician who has gone there without informing the governor? I really don't know why we do this, particularly low brand of politics in this country. It is a norm here that he should inform the governor and one can see some logical reasons for this. Is it one big task to simply inform the governor and then go about your lawful business?

Nothing deceptive about it. You just can't read and understand tenses so when you saw abstained it didn't occur to you that it referred to a past event. I.e the virginity was in the past.

Politics › Re: 18 Incumbent Governors Under Probe, Says EFCC Chairman by SmartyPants(m): 9:21am On Jul 20, 2025
SmartPolician:
The time this man spends telling people what they don't give a damn about should be spent amending relevant antigraft laws to make this commission more formidable.

1. What if there's a law compelling governors and MDAs to send their monthly financial expenses and their breakdown to the EFCC?

2. What if the EFCC has an inspection department that checks the report to ensure the money wasn't looted?

3. What if there was a law that mandates the EFCC to check whatever an incumbent governor/permanent secretary hands over to the successor six months before the handover date?

Perhaps Mr. Olukoyode understands that the man who appointed him personifies corruption that's why he would rather spend time talking about corruption than doing the actual fight against it.

Only a SENSELESS man goes after a thief who has already spent stolen money. Where will the money come from? The best way to stop a thief is to have systems that stop them from stealing in the first place.
Can Okukoyede himself amend any law? You showed that you understand the issues but unfortunately chose to play the politics of personality because of your broader agenda. What an anti-intellectual approach!

Before you say why complaining, no it's not a complain, I only advocate for people to own up to their nepotism with full chest. If you decide to be nepotistic then be proud of it
On the surface this sounds like a sound argument but in reality you are simply changing the goalposts. Before now the general complaint was that he was appointing only yorubas and the more specific claim was that he was not appointing south easterners. Can we at least, simply agree those were not true before shifting the ball game to a different park entirely?
Politics › Re: ADC Constitution Disqualifies Peter Obi From 2027 Presidential Race by SmartyPants(m): 7:28pm On Jul 19, 2025
AMINDA:
Sensational headline and irresponsible journalism. It is a no-brainer that Obi will eventually resign if he intends to contest under the ADC. Despite Atiku resigning from the PDP, he has not officially joined the ADC. He would do so if he intends to contest the party primaries. People mistake this coalition for the merger that birthed the APC. The arrangement is slightly different.
All of which still means as of today Obi is not qualified to run under the ADC. Nothing sensational about the headline. It's simple fact.

They don’t want to hear that at all. They only want to stay in Nigeria and be telling whoever cares to listen that Burkina Faso is the best thing since slice bread.

Anyway sha, I really don’t blame them. Majority of them did not witness the brutality of military rule in Nigeria. They never lived through the maradonic era of IBB and the evil regime of Abacha. They know nothing about how folks like Bola Tinubu and others fought for the democracy they now enjoy.
You think they say those things because they really believe military rule is best?? cheesy

That is just something they say to express the anger they feel. They are not to be taken seriously.

But Soludo said the brewery is worth zero naira.

They didn't fact check Soludo.

And they are here now saying the brewery paid 320 million naira in 2024 to Anambra government.

So a brewery worth zero naira is paying more than 300 million naira to Anambra government yearly.

Burial don finish, they have launched another propaganda to attack Obi..
Well let me fact check you cheesy
No, he said the investment is worth next to nothing meaning it's worth something but nothing close to what was put into it.
