There's one more name that will soon be on the list. Not sure why he didn't make this year's list.

Wemimo Abbey.

How do you know he’s the majority shareholder? Is his company listed on the Nigerian Stock Market? Are you a shareholder or investor to have such knowledge of him being highest shareholder?
If he wasn't the highest shareholder it wouldn't be his company Moro.n.

Did you read the part where I said he could have raised the money via shareholders and investors?

Did Dangote spend $28bn of his money on the refinery he built?

Think like a sensible human and stop being confined to a box.
That was the part I responded to in my previous post where I pointed out to you that even if he had 100 shareholders, he is still the majority shareholder. So where did he get the money even if his share is just 50mn?

It's obvious the lights are out in your head so don't worry.

It’s his company, his money, his shareholders. He can do whatever he chooses to do with it.
The usual off point vacuous responses. We asked how he came about the money and you respond it's his money, he can do whatever with it. Shameless.

You tap from local pool, and eject it into another economy thereby creating a huge chunk of already many leakages to the detriment of the economy that favoured you? And you are supposed to be a hero?
Not to mention this is money he stole or otherwise obtained from Nigeria. What an empty vessel the man is.

The report says through his Agro Allied Business. He could have shareholders and investors. The money necessarily doesn’t have to be his.
Imagine the nonsense you are spewing. The firm belongs to him which means even if he has 100 shareholders he is still the majority shareholder. So at worst... Let's ask where did a career soldier and politician get even $50mn? Certainly not from his salaries.

Shame on you.

This is neither here nor there....the write up says he was acquitted because the prosecution mishandled the case. That doesn't sound good at all.

Bobby4090:
Why Lagos? Is Abuja not our capital? Why can't the government force these big financial dictators to move to Abuja the capital. These mega companies are the ones creating confusion by making only one city the pillar of our economy. A city that hosts 95% of all registered financial and tech companies in Nigeria is a threat our unity. What happened to even Warri, PH or Kano or even Enugu.
What a stupid comment. What is the business of JP Morgan with your fanciful ideas of your unity and what you think threatens it?

She's right, the money is enough to start a business without renting a shop. I don't know about other states but in Lagos, neighbourhood shops now go between 8-10k per month. Shops in busy areas, bus-stops and market places go for much higher and most landlords ask for 2 years rent upfront. The spending won't be on rent alone, she'll need to furnish the shop with chair, table, counters, shelves etc and make it look attractive to customers. She's only telling you the reality of things but you're here poverty shaming her. You strike me as the toxic abusive husband who will treat your wife like you're doing her a favour by marrying her. How I wish she can open her eyes and see how better she'll be far away from you.
I asked a lady I want to marry that if i give her 1m to start a business.
Hmmm she told me 1m cant start any business with a shop.
He asked her to start a business - she is the one who talked about starting a business with a shop. In this day and age are there no businesses you can think of that won't require you to get a shop??

He brought a solution. She brought a problem.

Take a good look at Matthew 25:14-30.

It was either during the presidency of OBJ, Yar"Adua GEJ or PMB that something similar to this story was shown as "the first indigenous drone or UAV" , they even gave it one northern name like that. This makes somebody to wonder if these stories are even true when they keep calling them "the first UAV or droneangry
Try to read with comprehension. Did you notice the qualifier" attack" drone?

Ogunlesi is officially British, when Nigerian billionaires were being recognised by Nigerians on Twitter, him and Awotona were omitted because they are not officially Nigerians. We should continue maintaining that energy. What a shame.
Talking in the nonsense. Someone born in Nigeria to Nigerian parents can never lose their Nigerian nationality even if they take on another nationality. At best, they are dual nationals but first and foremost, Nigerians, as the second nationality can be revoked.

kettykin:
They should stop the pretense and rename it already so we can have peace. Years ago, in 2022 ,Dr Phillip Ozuah, an Igbo doctor from Anambra, donated a staggering one million dollars, the equivalent of N1.6B , the highest individual donation in the school's history. Yet, when it comes to recognition, silence. Let the Igbos challenge them to rename that hall and see who blinks first.

Igbo parents should enlighten their offspring, don't dig holes for future Igbo generations, if you don't know what to do with your money. A whopping N1.5b gone into a project in a hostile territory. My apologies to every good hearted yorubas .
Shame on you. That man went to UI, of course, for next to nothing. If you say donating to one's alma mata is digging holes for future Igbo generations, then stay in your region and dig all the holes there. That is just to show you how warped and shallow your reasoning is.

Thankfully, the real world is full of Nigerians from all tribes who don't think like you. As you can see from the example of the distinguished Dr Ozuah, they tend to be the successful ones too. Shame on you.

That's not automatic in Nigeria. The wife has to prove that she played a role in the acquisition of the property.
That's a common misconception. It is entirely at the discretion of the judge and contributions may be assessed on a non financial basis.

Kindly go through the below, carefully, and pay attention to the principle laid down in Eke v. Eke.

Someone needs to tell this man to trim his beard, because what kind of a bush is this?

But anyways, if tables were turned, they'd have said the woman is a gold digger... The husband feels emasculated simply because the wife didn't include his name as well, like no one is stopping him from also buying his own property in his name.
You know fully well that there's no such thing as a property bought in a man's name. The Courts will split it in half without thinking twice
