immaculatesense: It is not everything that scriptural texts are available for. Some things don't just make sense. Let me ask you. Is there any scriptural texts where Jesus visited AN AFRICAN/BLACK MAN? Does that mean Jesus hated Africans/Blacks because there is not biblical text? Some things are just coming sense. If Jesus did not associate with the poor. Tell me how many of his disciples were rich. Didn't Jesus live with them and dine with them or visited them in their homes?
Thanks. In other words you agree with the Pastor that Jesus never visited the poor... Okay noted... |

Truth is many pastors are guilty of scheming to trying to get more money from members and it's really annoying and some persons are becoming wiser... |

mastermaestro: He visited Peter's house who was not known to be rich other than being a follower of CHRIST. Nowhere in the Scriptures is Peter noted for being rich.
Matthew 8:14-15 KJV "And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. [15] And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them."
Now that's not the part that bothers me. The part where he said" JESUS hates the poor" is the real gaffe for me. He should be bold and apologetic enough to retract that part. That part is an affront on Scriptures.
Proverbs 17:5 KJV "Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished."
This is the testimony of JESUS CHRIST Himself. Matthew 11:4-5 KJV "Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: [5] The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them."
The apostles also reminded Paul about the poor. Galatians 2:10 KJV "Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do." Is there any evidence to show in the Bible that Peter's Mother in law was poor? |

Ijaw is only majority in Bayelsa. They are minority elsewhere in the Niger Delta. Any appointments that come to the Niger Delta Ijaw believes they must own it. They believe they are synonymous with Niger Delta. There are other big tribes in Niger Delta as well. Yeah you are right... Are you from South East or South South? |

ruggedtimi: In Opobo/Bonny, Igbo is commonly spoken, a tradition that dates back to the era of the transatlantic slave trade. The Igbo people were frequently sold as slaves through the Bonny route, and many chose to remain in Bonny, leading to the dominance of the Igbo language in the area. King Pepple of Bonny was a prominent figure in the slave trade.
However, the prevailing culture in Bonny/Opobo is Ijaw. Their customs, attire, titles, and names originate from the Ijaw tribe. Additionally, they have their own Ijaw language, Ibani well written and let me add... They chose to speak Igbo for fear of the Igbos understanding Ibani, unknown to them it will lead to the near extinct of their language Ibani... Most younger folks from Opobo/Bonny can't speak their original dialect.. |

While I agree with wike that it was actually too early for the now Axed Fubara to show his true colors, it is also wrong for wike to treat him in that manner. For God's sakes, how many of Wike's predecessors subjected him to such? Wike picked all of FUBARA's commissioners, handpicked all FUBARA's appointees such as to be in control of FUBARA's govt. Then he wanted to be getting his percentage from Rivers monthly subvention. Wike isn't fair to FUBARA, but if I was fubara, I wouldn't have acted so fast. Politics is about tactics Fubara did very well... Even if he doesn't come back again at least he will be a former Governor... Wike underrated Fubara and he is still in severe pains cos things are not the way he planned it... |

Certainly they follow different leaders. The Rivers woman, going by her name must be an Ikwerre woman and a Wike supporter. Afterall Wike said that he purchased the nomination forms for all of them. The other lady, is an Ijaw woman.
Do not forget that Wike and Seriake Dickson had their own misunderstandings too.
I think that the excesses of Wike must be checkmated. Not only has he caused trouble for the people of Rivers state, he has put the whole country in high alert and the Nigerian economy in danger. It's also good to Women like the one from Bayelsa standing for the truth while men are quiet or maybe scared to take a stance.. |

MrCGPA: Dr. Paul Enenche is one of the few pastors I truly respect in Nigeria. He is genuine in his approach to Christianity, unlike some so-called pastors who rely on fake powers. His impact is recognised globally, and he is respected for his unwavering commitment to spreading the gospel. Dr. Enenche has taken Christianity to challenging regions, including the Arab world, such as Pakistan and other places where Christianity is not widely accepted.
His ministry is a true testament to his dedication, and may God continue to bless and elevate it. It is inspiring to see how he tirelessly spreads the message of faith, embarking on crusades across various regions within Nigeria – from the South East to the South South, and back to the core North, all within the span of a week. His energy and passion for the work of God are truly remarkable. the same way you are saying some so called pastors rely on fake powers same way other persons will be saying Pastor Paul relies on fake powers ... In your trying to praise one , don't pull down others.... I like Pastor Paul by the way... |
