nairanaira12:Shagari was placed on House arrest just the way GEJ is also left to move freely instead of being in jail. You people never believed there is any fight against corruption but tommorow you will be asking of the recovered loot. Buhari has tried but the useless and corrupt Nigeria judiciary will never convict any of those who truly looted this country. |
Chicagoesontop:God punish FFK, he is spewing rubbish after looting Nigeria dry. |
codedguy1:So how do you describe the crime he has committed or what charge do you think he will face? If you follow up well with the testimonies before the probe panel, the Head of the civil service admitted that a letter requesting for Maina reinstatement was sent to her to act on which she did not and that said later was tendered before the panel. She also revealed that the letter was also copied to the ministry of interior. The question here is, who sent the letter to the HOS of the federation and copied the ministry of interior? Because what I can understand here is that the ministry of interior took action based on the letter copied to them without waiting for the HOS input on the matter. |
konoplyanka:Where is the sense you claim you have? So tell us what has happened to the twelves? Are they now in prison? As senseless as you are, your stupidity clouded with sentiment will never make you reason well. You all have lost your senses simply because you want to blame Bulgari. I know that since 2015 till date you have not added anything good to your miserable life, keeping on blaming Buhari for your misfortune. |
konoplyanka:Didn't you hear from his layer at the probe panel that no sack letter was issued to him and that he still receives all entitlement till date. You people like commenting without getting full knowledge of what is happening because you want to quickly blame someone. |
konoplyanka:Just like your father. |
konoplyanka:Look at you, so was he summoned by any court? Why will he go to the court? He is hiding for the security of his life. Try to get the story straight. |
explicite:And so what? What did he do to be dismissed in the first place. On the investigation panel by the house of representative didn't you heared that there was a court order granted for his re-instatement? Because you just want to find fault with the present government you people have lost every good sense of reasoning. |
factsandfigures:I listened to the man yesterday on channels and I was wondering how he was made a professor. I saw total incompetence in him as a member of the presidential advisory committee against corruption. He should be one of the enemies within, very senseless and illogical in his submissions. |
factsandfigures:What offence did Maina committed? He has not been found guilty by any court of law. He remains innocent for now until the court proves otherwise. If FFK can be walking free so why all this stupid noise about Mains? All I see is the corruption fighting back using the Media. He is accused of embezzling what he recovered from the pension thieves, is he the only person who is accused of fraud in Nigeria? The alleged money he recovered, no body cares to know those whom he recovered the loot from. Sentiment and hatred has rendered Nigerians so useless in every issues. Before he alleged reinstatement into the civil service how many people have him in mind either to get him to face prosecution or not. Those who don't want him to name them in the pension fraud are the ones behind all this noise hence his secound Escape. He could have been allowed to remain in the ministry of interior until the security agencies get hold of him.. It's so unfortunate that everything in Nigeria always go the wrong and stupid way. |
Sprumbabafather:The level of ignorance among Nigerians is indeed the greatest impediment against our development. The government did not stop people from importing Rice legitimately through the ports. The government only stopped Smugglers from bringing in Rice through the boarders. |
cashlurd:This is a clear evidence of corruption fighting back, how much did the said saraki returned to the government or is he telling us that he is not among the looters? |
morbeta:Saraki should shut up as law makers what have they done about the ways recovered looted funds should go. All the executive bills including those that deals with recovered stolen funds are yet to be considered by the NA. The fight against corruption is supposed to be by all arms of government and not just the executive. Saraki should be ashamed to led a national assembly that can not ensure the existence of applicable laws to safe guide recovered funds from looters. They are a lot of issues in the government today because bad elements like Saraki and his PDP descendants will never allow anything to go well. He should prove it that truly some of the recovered funds can not be accounted for? I thought they never believed that there is a fight against corruption so I wonder what recovered loot he want them to account for? Useless Senate president. All the money he looted let him also tell Nigerians how much he has returned. |
Keneking:Are you sure you read and truly comprehend the post. Fine, Maina at a time was wanted for alleged case of embezzlement of the money he recovered from the pension fund. He was not pronounced guilty by any court of law. He was also at that time allegedly dismissed from service by the previous administration. Now the issue at hand is that there was an alleged court order ordering his re-instatement into the civil service. What we need to know is whether or not such court order exist. Again Maina is presumed innocent of any fraud except proven otherwise by a court of competent jurisdiction hence his re-instatement does not go against any law. Also, we should not forget that the said Maina at a time ran away from the country either to avoid prosecution on the pension fund allegation or for his personal safety as he claimed due to the fact that those implicated by his committee were after his life. Now, that the present government is keen about fighting corruption, I don't see anything bad in luring Maina by whatever means back to the country. His re-instatement into the civil service does not stop the EFCC from arresting and prosecuting him. Nigerians should even be grateful that the alleged wanted man is now made available or do we want him to remain fugitive forever? This obviously revealed how corruption is fighting back back at the government. For me, those syndicates involved in the pension scam as unraveled by Maina committee prefer him dead or remain in self exile. They are the ones behind all these media misinterpretation about Maina resurfacing. They are making the public to see the issue as so complicated. The man we have been looking for is now available whether he is back to service or not, he can now be arrested and charged for any offence. I commend the government for at least using every means possible to bring back the wanted man. The next stage is for him to tell Nigerians what truly happened to the then pension fund. For those blaming the present governmen on Maina should also remember that the alleged fraud he is being accused of did not take place during this administration. |
Keneking:Atiku can be the next governor of Adamawa state to help settle their workers salary |
kullozone:Just like the way Abacha government was better than that of Clueless GEJ, at least price of any thing you can think of is far better during Abacha government.. Many of you wailers are more useless than GEJ your master. |
Luv2byoung4eva:You are only being so sentimental and have made no constructive point. Your foolishness stinks. |
PapaBaby:It's only fools who will agree with GEJ. The economy was good and yet the people deemed it right to send you out of office. The ripple effect of your bad administration is what this government unfortunately inherited. Whether you like it or not before you were shamefully defeated out of office majority of the states couldn't afford to pay worker salary. Fuel price may be N87 but it was not readily available there is no two months without fuel scarcity that lingers for more than it was available forcing people to buy more than N200 per litre. The country got the highest revenue in crude oil export during your useless period in office yet we have nothing to show for it. You sold PHCN to your friends and cronies without any notable improvement in power distribution. You wasted huge tax payers money to organize a national conference knowing fully well you are not ready to implement the recommendation. The country experienced the highest level of corruption and mismanagement in your regime. All the allocations for the purchase of arms and other equipment to fight insurgency was embezzled by you and party with Dasuki sharing the money. It was during your government that the south africa government intercepted billions of naira that you wanted to launder in the name of buying arms. GEJ you are supposed not to be talking instead you sshould be ashamed of yourself. Look at Deziani and other of your ministers that stole Nigeria dry, your sins are too numerous to mention. I wondered why you are not in prison yet. The suffering and poor economy of today is as a result of your clueless and corrupt government. |
AFONJACOW:If not for stupidity and so much ignorance in Nigeria, I wonder why people are complaining about a five years clean up plan that was barely lunched June last year to cost $1bn. Even the clean up scheme was not included in the 2017 budget for appropriation so I wonder what many gullible Nigerians think the probe is all about. To many illiterate fools here, they have concluded that $1bn has been released and the money missing. Instead of making more finding on the topic, it's so easy for them to come here and post nonsense. Our lawmakers today have abandoned their constitutional responsibility of making law for the good governance of the country to investigation and probes. What really baffles me is that the findings and recommendations of these exercises at the end will not be made known to the general public. The ogoni clean up is a follow up of the United Nations Environmental program UNEP recommendation of 2011 and the program is designed in sequences. I strongly believed that if there is anything not in accordance with the submission of the UN agency, the body will surely speak up not these good for nothing Senators and useless media in Nigeria. |
ElPadrino33:Just like in 2015 they didn't vote for him neither. I just dey pity you on how frustrated you will be come 2019. |
For una mind " so the federal government has not done anything about this since the News surfaced on CNN." |
aolawale025:Just like in 2015, come 2019 you will surely be disappointed. For another 4 years from 2019 you will remain in the miserable pain you caused yourself simply because of hatred. |
biacan:That is the change, no hidden place for looters. All looters must vomit their loots. This is also to direct a strong signal to those in power today that if you misuse your office surely a day of re-payment is waiting for you. |
mideactive:In as much you are blind in your opinion you will never see anything good in this government. But whether you like it or not I will assure you that APC will rule till 2023. |

Now his Attorney General is telling Nigerians that over $230 m Abacha loot has been released to Nigeria by Swiss authorities. The people Buhari has granted free guilt pass to be corrupt are Northerners and APC members. If I hear anyone mention Buhari as Mr integrity again, na koboko the person go chop. Copied[/quote You could have been reasonable if all these people you mentioned were actually convicted by a court of law in Nigeria. This yeye talk can not earn you people's vote. If you want to know better find out from Edo PDP governorship Candidate in the last election. |
PointZerom:Who's regime did Maina stole the Billions? Is it not during the corruption regime? |
xandy84:For your mind. |
PrecisionFx:But why are you people crying of marginalization? My igbo people are really confused. |
Destinyfavour:Most APC states are doing so well like Lagos, Edo etc. Your argument should better be constructive. |
yaki84:How many months old is this year budget? You want it to be 100% implement without having good knowledge of how budget runs. |
magoo10:Are you sure you read the post? |
Saao:When it was single digit, how better was your life then? |
