Please help! How do I re-print ICAN March 2020 exam registration form? The one I printed when I registered in February was collected when I went to collect course materials at ICAN office. I had wanted to re-print then but I forgot due to the postponement of the exam in March. |

Politics / Re: The Voice Of One Crying In The Wilderness: Memo To General Obasanjo by smithsammy(m): 7:29am On Jun 28, 2020 |
What Nigeria needs is restructuring. Everybody knows this. Obasanjo knew it when he was in power. Jonathan knew it when he was in power (as it was even recommended by the CONFAB), Buhari knows it, too. But the problem is, no President wants to be stripped of power. Consenting to restructure means they would no longer be able to control or influence any state or region as they are already used to. What Nigerian politicians (I will not call them leaders -- that's too sacred a designation to be used for these selfish people) want is power; not common good of the populace. |

At least, their chances of grabbing power in Edo state has received a boost with Obaseki that has joined them. PDP literally has nothing to offer the state, an so is APC. I personally do not fancy the person of Obaseki, if I must say! |

He resigned to seek more interesting opportunities, but they pleaded with him to at least, keep in touch with their businesses and in fact be their finance consultant and external auditor. He can do beyond what you require. However, he's just planning to get chartered. He's an HND holder in Accounting. You can place him on probabtion of 2 months and see his prowess. |

You know, I had thought he would start from ATS, given that he doesn't have a background in Accounting, save for the Financial Accounting subject he did in secondary school, plus the few accounting courses he during his national diploma. Although he knows accounting basics and has thought Financial Accounting to secondary school students before - during his NYSC. |

Please, we need your suggestion on this: A friend's wedding is coming up and he has bought this very nice blue suit he wants to use some 3 months ago. Now, he wants to get the same suit for his best man but he's not seeing the exact colour. He has toured the whole of Lagos Island (Mandilas inclusive) but didn't the exact shade/colour. His groom's men are using black suit so someone said his best man can use black suit, too. So what do you think about this, guys? Should he get different (but close) shade of blue suit that he got for himself for his best man? Or Should the best man dress like rest of the men in suit?

hisexcellency34:We need wisdom here, man. Wisdom is profitable to lead! What the man said lacks wisdom. You only give Igbos more reasons to dislike the party. You can only win people's love by first showing them love - that is Nelson Mandela's playbook. No matter how deep people hate and disagree with you, you can win their heart by showing them constant unconditional love and care. This is a big emotional and moral matter that is far, far beyond the power of some APC members like the man in question, and possibly you, too. You're talking about analysis of an APC. I am talking about the analysis of the unity, sense of belonging and development of Nigeria. 4 Likes |

We normally shouldn't need an APC party to elect an Igbo, or any tribe at all, as president. Neither APC nor PDP own Nigeria so we must stop them from deciding our fate. I'm a Nigerian. My origin, Yoruba land, doesn't matter. What matters is that I'm a Nigerian and I do not care who holds what office; so far the incumbent is ready to serve and perform. For a careless, reckless statement like this to come from an elder state-man who is expected to know better and be careful with his choice of statement, then only God can really, really save this country! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / The Gold Question To Our Leaders: What Should I Be Proud Of As A Nigerian? by smithsammy(m): 11:03am On Sep 25, 2019 |
As citizens of this country, perhaps the golden question we should ask our President, Governors and Senators is: "please sir, ma, what are those good things you think we should be proud of as Nigerians?" Ask them! What should the jobless youth be proud of? What should those who lost loved ones to Boko-Haram menace be proud of? What should those whose loved ones were abducted or killed in cold blood by kidnappers be proud of? What should those whom lecturers were extorted or wickedly failed in test and exams be proud of? Ask them! What should those who pay exorbitant prices for things that ordinarily should be free at government institutions and corporations be proud of? What should those who were denied admission into NDA and Police Academy because the rich, powerful, high and might have already had the available slots retained for their children, and who were only employed as Recruit to fight Boko Haram, kidnappers and serial robbers, and then die like fowl be proud of? Until they tell us why and what we should be proud of, people will continue to run far, far away from this mess we call country. Until they tell us why and what, people will not believe in this country, its systems and institutions. Let this Golden question be passed round in hashtag. Let's see what answers our leaders and politicians have. I know they have nothing because they have woefully failed us. #WhatShouldNigeriansBeProudAbout? |
