Jobs/VacanciesRe: Vacancies by SMJay(op): 6:10am On May 14, 2023
In a conversation with an Indian entrepreneur-Aijay @Hejeoma

Your country Nigeria is similar to ours in so many ways. The rich are so rich, while the poor only know abject poverty. The middle class are just very little. Your country has high level corruption just like my country. We have so many ethnic groups & religions, same as you do. Our country has a huge population problem (we are over 1bn), Nigeria has the biggest population in Africa. We have so many problems the same way your country Nigeria has many problems. Are you aware problems are good? I mean coming from a country with problems is a good thing. You want to know how/why I say it?

With problems come solutions, be a problem solver. Think solutions & put your solution out there, people will pay for it. I am sure you have heard of the Indian caste system, the system is such that if you are born into the lower caste, there's only very little you can acheive. If your dad is a cobbler, the chances of you being more than a cobbler are slim. The child of doctor has a 95% success rate but it has started changing. In the past 8-10 years, we started having a new set of young millionaires between the ages of 25-35 who aren't from the upper caste system. One would wonder what changed; most of these young millionaires just had an opportunity to attend college/university & today have become very rich simply by becoming problem solvers. The world is evolving, the strong/rich countries were those with military might & oil but today might & wealth is now determined by those who control technology/Internet.

A country of over 1bn people, imagine 3k people besieging a bank branch for transactions! It would be a mess! Then steps in the young generation of problem solvers; like Bipin who owns mobikwik or the owners of paytm etc. Millions of Indians run their day to day financial transactions without ever touching cash! Imagine close of work & our huge workforce enter the streets all at once to commute, the country will be on standstill due to gridlock! In comes young problem solvers like the dudes behind 'Ola' or the token/card system our metro services run on.

So many young Indians run multiple jobs and do not have time to do simple things like go to a market or mall, young folks behind groffers & bigbasket have made it easy to order & have groceries/food stuffs delivered to your doorstep. I do not know where gas is refilled, I simply bring my phone out & at the push of a few buttons a full cylinder is delivered at my doorstep. I travel a lot for business, all my trips & hotel accommodation are booked on a single app. I get back home & my apartment is dirty, I go on another app & a house cleaner arrives within minutes. I want to change apartments? Easy! All I need do is go on another app and see house listing, pick one & book for inspection. I don't have to go to some high end shop/mall to buy a perfume that the price will be so expensive because of rent/taxes & cost of transportation. I simply go to another app & find same perfume at a cheaper rate. We are over 1bn people, housing should be a problem right? Easy! We now have cooperatives pooling funds to build what we call societies; some societies are high rise (as high as 20 floors) have as much as 1k apartments (some 3, 2 or 1 room). All These apartments are owned by different landlords. We all can't own land, build & occupy or rent as it would cause chaos so apartment buildings to the rescue. When my friends & I first started our business in 2011, we started with less than $200k in one city.

Today our company is valued at over $800m and we are in over 18 cities. Our trick? Find a problem , create a solution & leverage on your huge numbers to market it. We service at least 1m people monthly. If we take just 20 rupees from a single client (we take more) how much do you, think we make yearly? Think! When other people see problems see an avenue to bring solutions; that's how the new set of millionaires are being born.

obinnazy:
I want to know what men benefit from Marriage, it Favours only women
Modern marriage is a living death for men.

I loved my wife for a while and she adored me and we had three beautiful children and still it slowly descended into tedious, grinding, soul-crushing misery. Endless nagging, constant complaints, ungratefulness, squandering money, walking back promises about shared goals, cheating, selfishness, deranged behavior, everything every man tries to avoid. It finally imploded after 8 years when she commenced a legal battle that cost us over $50,000 in attorney fees. Our children are scarred for life. We despise each other with a red hot hatred that I never would have thought possible. The real kicker? I thought I had gotten lucky when I met her.

Here’s the awful truth no one teaches young men:

The voluntary, love-based, monogamous marriage is impossible for the vast majority of people. Evolution favors variety. Deep in our unconscious brains we are programmed by evolution to repel each other. Marriage, at its core, was never about love. It was about survival and social stability and gender-based division of labor in a pre-modem era when the lives of everyone in the family unit, especially children, depended on that bond. Men are polygamous, women are hypergamous. We come from an alpha male/harem of females evolutionary dynamic, as do the vast majority of social mammals. Geneticists have proven we have several times more female ancestors than male ancestors. Such societies are inherently unstable however. Marriage was the solution to this problem that allowed us to create civilization.

Now marriage is irrelevant. Modern technology and the police and welfare states have solved all the problems marriage was designed to solve in the first place. Now it’s unnecessary. The practical origins of marriage are utterly lost on modern women (and a lot of men to be honest). We have replaced it with an unworkable, fantastical, imbecilic model based on voluntary commitment and romantic love WHICH DOES NOT WORK. Marriage’s days were numbered with the onset of the industrial revolution. In the 1960s and 1970s the religious and legal and social constraints that held most marriages together were dismantled. Worse still, we now have an antiquated family court system that punishes men but rewards women. Add in birth control and abortion on demand and smart phones and social media and dating apps and failure is practically guaranteed. Women are never satisfied. It’s in their DNA. Briffault’s Law is real. Marriage must be externally enforced (law, church, etc) for it to survive in the VAST majority of cases. Women are, by nature, materialistic and erratic and solipsistic and duplicitous and malcontented and emotionally disregulated and irrational. When it comes to men, a woman’s “love”is both opportunistic and extractive. No matter how much attention or money you give her it will never be enough. Just ask Will Smith or BIll Gates or Jeff Bezos or Brad Pitt (ETA: or Sylvester Stallone or Tom Brady). I don’t think it is biology possible for a women to be content in a relationship. It makes perfect sense from an evolutionary perspective. Lasting love (which is different from romantic love) cannot exist without trust. Men simply cannot trust ANY women given the current family court system and modern women’s ridiculous expectations and women’s underlying nature. When divorce became an option for every woman, at any time, for any reason, marriage became risk prohibitive for every man. No sane man would sign a modern marriage contract if he really knew what he was getting into.

Hell is a wife. Marriage ruins men’s lives. It will destroy your dreams. A wife will eat your soul. Being legally and financially at the mercy of a woman’s emotions is an exhausting, grinding, slow-motion horror I can’t even begin to describe. Marriage is nothing but a loaded gun pointed at a man’s head and the woman gets cash and prizes for pulling the trigger. I’ve had cancer and I’ve been married to a woman who loved me and cancer was preferable. At least I didn’t have to pretend to love the cancer as it was slowly killing me. At least cancer went about it in silence. At least cancer’s behavior was comprehensible.

Until the laws change and society reverts back to a rational model for marriage that is enforceable, NEVER, EVER, GET F-ING MARRIED IF YOU’RE A MAN!!

RomanceRe: I'm Ready To Marry!! Help Me Choose Between These To Ladies.(pictures) by SMJay: 3:59pm On May 13, 2023
XXMML33:
I'm finally ready to settle down and I want to choose between these two women.

Some of you may say I should be mature enough to know who I want but you really need to be in my position to understand how difficult this choice is. Maybe if I explain you will understand.

The first girl satisfies my sexual fantasies. She has a sexy body, big boobs, nice ass and she's very beautiful. The only issue is that she's not very intellectual and loves to party and hang out. But she's a good cook and she respects me and she's a freak in bed. She's smart when it comes to "street" stuff but she can barely hold a deep conversation. She's also very materialistic and enjoys spending money, which is something I don't like..

The second girl is one of the most intelligent women I've come across. I enjoy having conversations with her because she she's well spoken and very intelligent. She's also a masters degree holder and currently employed in a well paid position.

However, the probelm I have with her is that she doesn't know how to dress. She dresses like all these deeper life women and she's very religious. I've told her to dress more sexy but she has become too used to this way of dressing.

She's also not romantic and very boring I'm bed, unlike the first girl. Looks wise she's just average. She doesn't satisfy my fantasies and sometimes when I'm with her I don't get ereçtions and I have to think about the first girl.

As you can see my decision is a hard one to make. It's not like I'm asking you guys to make the choice for me, I just need your advice.

Attached are pictures of the two girls. I edited the faces to protect their identity.
You had to bring my sister picture to this forum for you to choose a wife. huh

Jobs/VacanciesRe: So, What Dreams Are You Chasing? by SMJay: 9:51am On May 13, 2023
My wife was in a serious relationship when I married her.

I exchanged a glance with Lola, who was seated beside me, and we both gave our eyes to the speaker who'd paused for a while, maybe studying the energy in the room.

We retrieved our eyes from him and bent our heads to swallow our laughter and whisper a few words; and just then a giggle came from the back and the hall erupted with laughter as if that were a cue everyone was waiting for.

A voice from the back said, Oga! So, you snatch person wife be that. Another round of laughter went out again. And you know, small talks like this are the spice in youth gatherings.

And the speaker said, no, I didn't snatch anybody's wife. I only came with a higher and more serious bid to a woman who knows what she wants.

His words quietened the hall, and we all itched for further explanation.

There are times, he continued, when you'll have to engage yourselves with activities just to make the most out of the moment, but that doesn't mean these activities are your primary objective. They are temporal, and no matter how much you love what is temporary, it shouldn't make you lose sight of your goal.

And that is why you must prepare for the things you pray for, even while you're exploring and doing what your hands find to do. The reason is that preparation makes it easier for you to identify your opportunities when they appear, and helps you act right with less confusion.

Do everything you need to hold on, while waiting for what you should hold on to, to arrive.

Now, concerning my wife, she knew she'd dwelt on that mountain for too long. So, when I arrived, she didn't allow familiarity, comfort, proximity, and the age of her former relationship stop her.

Likewise, nothing should stop you from making drastic moves towards actualizing your dreams, and improving the quality of your life. Copied!

Jobs/Vacancies7 Income Streams That You Can Have With Your Job, Freelancing, Or As A Self-empl by SMJay(op): 7:09am On May 09, 2023
7 Income streams that you can have with your Job, freelancing, or as a self-employed

Today due to increasing expenses and inflation, multiple income streams are becoming a necessity for life.

Here are these 7 income streams you can tackle with uncertainties

📌 Salary or Wages: This is the most common form of income for people who work in traditional employment. You receive a regular paycheck for the work you do.

📌Side Hustles: These are small businesses or part-time jobs that you do in addition to your regular job. Examples include selling items online, driving Ola, or Uber, and freelancing.

📌Freelancing: Freelancing involves offering your services to clients on a project-by-project basis. Common freelance jobs include writing, web design, graphic design, and social media management.

📌Investing: Investing can be a great way to earn passive income. Examples include investing in stocks, commodities, and real estate.

📌Affiliate Marketing: This involves promoting other people's products and earning a commission for each sale. This can be done through a blog, YouTube channel, or social media.

📌Rental Income: If you own a property, you can earn rental income by renting it out to tenants. This can be a great source of passive income.

📌Creating and selling digital products: This includes creating and selling eBooks, online courses, or digital downloads such as music or graphics.

PS - Multiple income streams not because you can do unnecessary expenses but because you can tackle the uncertainties

How many income sources do you have and what are they, and How you have started do let me know in the comments
