I had to put myself in Tinubu's shoes. Anyone talk to my wife in that manner and I'm in Tinubu's position, that fellow will forever regret coming to this world. I will not stop till destroy all he stand and labor for. All, everything he has worked for will go down. |

personameen: To paint the picture of how I understand the person of 'Senator' Dino Melaye to be, I must first iron out some salient point. When at the beginning of the 8th Senate Dino took a stand that the Senate should be allowed to choose Her own leaders without party interference.....I was like -'right there is the man, very liberal, principled, a fresh blood newly injected into our body politic' . I was to later learn regretably though that he is an errand boy of the Sarakis (or the Sarakius' like Prof. Pius Adesanmi of Carleton University once opined.). Once I understood this, I was not angry anymore. Saraki needed a point man in the hallowed chamber and he found one in Melaye. Bukola paid handsomely for his (Dino's) 'sELECTION' - as was the case for majority of his distinguished jegudu jera colleagues in reference to the emphasis supplied - into the Nigerian upper house. Now here is the deal. Melaye's got his job well cut out for him: 1. Follow saraki blindly, sing his praise and ensure others do same. 2. Ensure to shut down all detractors while saraki uses his office to squander whatever is left of our commonwealth. 3.For whenever or whichever trials and tribulation may befall the sarakis you must always be visible on their side to give the impression that - kole buru titi koma ku enikan moni (e bad as e bad at least one last man must remain standing by you). This also does not preclude you from accompanying and carrying Yeye Toyin Saraki's handbag or Oga Bukola's brief case if called to answer to corruption charges against them. 4. Treat with extreme prejudice any dissenting male senator or rape right there on the floor of the hallowed chamber if female. 5. Abide by other responsibilities as may be prescribed by the principal, Mesujamba Sarakius. From the foregoing will it not amount to sheer waste of time for any discerning mind to still think that Melaye has anything to offer his own constituent and by extension the Nigerian state? What then can some one like Dino do, either at the corner of his rented hotel room with some LovePeddler or at the floor of the Senate with Remi Timubu, that should warrant expending our God giving energy and limited time over? For me, the Red chamber have 108 senators less tattoo-carrying Mr Dino. I was like -'right there is the man, very liberal, principled, a fresh blood newly injected into our body politic' Lol! Dino Melaye fresh blood? People like you brought people like Dino upon us! SMH! |

God never makes mistakes, He brought you to us cos HE knows you are what we need to move on as a nation and a people under the claws of Bad leaders of the last administration. By making Boko Haram alone less stronger and so incapacitated to launch attacks therby making people feel more safe from Boko Haram is a great one. What's life without security and to live in fear all the time?
As a people, we are safer today under you from BH, it will take people to ggo to North East to see how you are appreciated for bringing peace to them. Even we in Abuja are safer and as such, ride on sir. When peace is achieved and terror cleared, development albeit gradual but steady shall come. God bless PMB. I had rather buy rice for 14k and fuel for 145 and feel secure than to live in fear of being bombed by some terrorist while at the motor park like so many that lost their lives in the last administration. I feel more secured today under PMB from BH, that alone gives me peace and I know its time, things will be good, I see it, I feel it for God gave us PMB and God never makes a mistake. GOD bless u PMB...just ride on sir, we are solidly behind you. Spot them everywhere

TonyeBarcanista: ON THE CONTROVERSIAL HALIBURTON AISHA BUHARI: Having done my independent investigation, I came to conclusion that the said Aisha Buhari is an impostor and not related to the Wife of the President. These are my reasons;
1. The said Miss Aisha Buhari claimed to be the daughter of General Muhammadu Buhari and not the Wife of General Muhammadu Buhari.
However, Buhari in 2006 had denied having any daughter with such name. According to him;
“I don’t have any relationship with that Aisha Buhari,” Mr. Buhari said. “I don’t have any daughter called Aisha Buhari living outside this country. She is not my daughter.” http://mobile.nytimes.com/2007/04/29/business/yourmoney/29lobby.html?pagewanted=all&referer=
2. The said Aisha of Haliburton was said to be in her middle age as at 2006, while Mrs Buhari is 47years of age as at now.
3. The Haliburton Aisha was said to have testified in the Haliburton case in the USA in 2006, there is no record that Mrs Buhari ever appeared in USA court to give any testimony.
4. Former EFCC Chairman and PDP Chieftain Mallam Nuhu Ribadu that handled the case had confirmed that the fraudulent Aisha is not the daughter of Mr President and has no relationship with him.
5. A Google search on the image of haliburton Aisha reveals no semblance with Mrs Aisha Buhari. What about the ' Atiku Abubakar' also implicated in this case? Hope by doing a Google search of haliburton Atiku it will also reveal no semblance with the Atiku we know? |

naptu2:
Some people are asking how can Caveatemptor know more about what happened than Seun. They don't realise that some people here were alive when these things happened and witnessed them. The "shit incident" happened in 1978 or '79, while the "murder incident" happened in 1993. Seun was born in 1983. What does he know about something that happened in '79?
Imagine if Babangida's daughter (that was born in 1989) says that her father became president in 1987. We that witnessed the coup will (of course) know that she's not saying the truth, because we all know that her father became president on August 27, 1985.
A funny guy here actually said that Abiola was never chairman of Decca!
Anyway, we'll read Fela's own account of the shit incident and what led to the ITT song. Read Seun's post again, you and caveatemptor are the ones mixing up dates. Seun did not refer to the ' murder case' in 1993, remember by then Simbiat was already late so she couldn't have reported the case in the first place. Seun posted about 'armed robbery' and not murder, which obviously took place before the 1993 murder case. Fela has been in and out of detention for several orchestrated offences. Seun's information about HIS FATHER is far more reliable than yours, think about his source of info for a moment before your next comment. |

Caveatemptor: Tell your dad l said his version is wrong. As people have pointed out The armed robbery case is a totally different story to the poo story. I was in secondary school when these issues happened so I know what I am talking about. These stories were splashed on the pages of the Punch in those days. Some one was even mixing the case of the coffin for head of state beatings with the armed robbery case. I was a regular visitor to the Old African shrine at Pepple street as an undergraduate at Unilag. So you are talking to a true Fela fan. I watched the great man perform as a student and listened to his regular yabis on the yabis night. I may not be Felas son but I am a historian of Felas life. I stand by my first post. This is the truth coming from a Fela fan. Your audacity na case study o! Cos you are a regular visitor at d shrine makes you a better Fela historian than anybody?
