Blessedmercy8: With only one year left to live and spend the 8 billion he made from rituals, this Yahoo boy is becoming more apprehensive and restless.
Watch him pacing up and down his mansion and feeling restless.
Young boys and girls, please run away from ritualism, it doesn't pay. Making the money and cutting your life short is not worth it.
See what makes front page on Nairaland. Chai. Is this Nollywood or something? Looks like where kids are playing. Apart from the houses they flaunt, what else portrays real affluence? The dirty naira notes or old clunky cars? And then he has to years to live, so f$&ing what.
It's a nice innovation to start the pidgin comments at the world cup but could they stop this juju incantation kind of vibes. It's really annoying. Especially that female voice, she sounds like she curses in waffi slangs. Sounds like animalistic bleat of some sort to foreigners.
This is not the only place in the world where creoles are spoken. The gbas gbos thing something more of colloquialism pushed too far.

An Oyinbo man has said people told him Nigeria is a dangerous place but still insisted to come over and see the country.
An interesting video showed him chilling with guys and 'speaking' Yoruba language at the Elegushi Beach, Lagos. He went to eat a plate of Jollof rice too and he said it is spicy.
He said there is more to Nigeria than the crime always reported in the western media.
OP you missed adding very important thing to your caption: he smoked weed.

joyd200: The following economic principles are guides:
1. Never put all your savings in one investment. Business environments are certainly precarious. A little policy wave may threaten your profit maximisation motives. Optimally, you may invest only 20% of the total savings in a single investment source.
2. Never invest in your money in sources under same or similar wave of controlling factors or policy. For instance, if you invest in forex, don't invest in crypto.
3. Never invest in your current sources of income. Optimal investment are portfolio diversified.
4. Real estates investment are only shock absorbers to curb opportunistic risk of securities and financial volatilities. Don't expect too much from them, they do depreciate in time. For a #10m, you certainly would not want to tie much of that money on "only" real estates. You may as well consider only 20%.
Suggestions: - Buy one Nigerian use car (#1.3-#1.4m), place it on hire purchase-uber arrangements (@ #2.5m) for the person to deliver #25k weekly.
- Use #1m to buy land in a very cheap area with hope of appreciation future. Don't buy land that is already too overvalued, you won't see your gain in future.
- Look for a local stores/shops/business persons with physical business (better if into essential items like provisions, foods, drinks, drugs, etc). Discuss real business with the persons to support with cash for expansion Take precautions, don't invest more than 10% of the net worth of the person's business. And certainty, maximum of 2% of your savings. You can involve in up to 5-7 independent business of such, which in total should not be more than 10% (#1m) of your savings. Independent means never allow the persons to know each others. And find commitment around them involving family, religion etc. But please only %10 of you income and at best between 5-7 of such businesses, investing between #100k-300k. They can deliver you 5-10% of your investment monthly. Try be merciful, leave the capital for them after you've cash out up to 200% of your investment. Provide business advices to them but don't force or get too involve in their business operations, let them be Independent.
- Buy dollars and keep as cash or in domiciliary account. it'll always appreciate. Only 10-20% of your savings is enough.
- Keep 20% (#2m) as risk free security (bonds, treasury bills. They are also shock absorbers. And put you mind to rest all time.
Deprofessional: I was able to accumulate this through saving from my monthly salary.
I am now 48 and thinking of being self employed 2 years from now.
Please I need as much idea as possible.
The short let apartments got me thinking.
Same age here and almost same career life and savings. Wondered if one should just work his way to any of the western countries with the savings and at least have the future of the kids more assured. The environment is hostile in all ramification. I ventured into certain business to test waters in 2018 with 8m and got all ditched by covid in 2020. Don't ask me how. My resolve: move to north Americas and start anything. I will be restarting a new generation after me. I think this is worth it.
not what he said in the video. That's a wrong and misleading caption. Mods should take note pls. To the rest of us, guys remain Obidient and God will bless you.
My son in primary 2 at Abuja school knows the American past presidents and all the details of American Revolutionary War. When asked about the Nigerian president, he mentioned only 'Buhari' but couldn't remember Muhammadu and, neither could he mention any past president or any significant historical event in Nigeria.
Is this how they teach our children now in Nigeria or is it school or the boy?
Igbo race have a problem. Will they do this to TB Joshua in Lagos during his life time? If not the person of Obi, I wouldn't bother myself about Igbo candidacy. It is a shame.
I have been to the major enclaves in Abuja and seen their beauty and compared same to other cities in Nigeria. I didn't bother looking up other cities outside Nigeria. My comparisons shows a grossly overrated city. Lagos is seen as overcrowded but it's several jumps ahead of Abuja in terms of anything that qualifies development, modernity or civilisation
I Abuja, apart from the road network which are still not fantastic when compared to Kano for instance, buildings are still not top notch.
