You are very keen to put forwards your ideas on people here. @ topic how much is an average block of four flats, 3 bedroom each in the lekki area? |
I will be following as i am interested in such venture. |
Looking at OP profile, he is still in the US. @ topic politics, top positions in multinational companies, and big time real estate can earn you such income |
@ Sagamite you are a slowpoke and has always been one. You crash into threads and start insulting people even when you know nothing about the topic in discussion. People like you give NL a sick name. Normally i ignore your comments and dont bother dignifying it with a response, but your nuisance value in here is getting ridiculous. I dont know how you ever became a moderator. The owners of the forum need to call you to order. You seem to feel you are a demi-god by you status. You are such an annoying person, God knows how you behave in person. Hopefully different to your NL character. Please learn to keep quiet. Or at least just disappear from NL for one year, you and your kind and lets the rest of us have sane debates. Your behaviour is pure madness. You are confrontational, arrogant and intolerant of opposing oppinion. And lastly immature. |
I was in a similar situation in the past. Issued such visa for 2 years and never used it due to busy schedule. When i applied for another one, they asked why i had not used the former. I only told them the truth that my work is quite busy but that i would make every effort to visit the US when issued another one. Simple, no long story. Given another visa for 2 years. |
There are important points on both sides of the argument. You can understand why people feel emotional about this debate as they are talking from experience either directly or indirectly. I was personally a lodger during my old jjc days in the UK. With hindsight i appreciate the fact that the person i stayed with might have wanted me to leave, ie i was invading her privacy, not financially viable, etc. On the flip side, she could have given me more time and made my transition to independence smoother. No reasonable person takes delight in staying with another continuously. Even when you find yourself in that situation you do all your possible best to appease the person you occupy his/her house as you would do if it were your own house. However some persons are hard to placate and would get rid no matter what. End of day it boils down to personalities of both parties, how welcoming and hospitable the home owner is and how much the lodger is willing to persevere as well as being hard working and thankful. Maybe the problem is partly that of communication. People keep their feelings bottled up until it reaches a crescendo. A home owner may well sit with any prospective lodger and discuss the terms and conditions of their stay ie length of stay, roles and responsibilities. Even better if put in writing as a contract. If done before the person moves in then it leaves less ill feelings and bitterness around. |
When it is time to kiss the bride hope there would be a ladder available ![]() |
"always Hor ny". I am no fan of the governnor for other reasons. I am interested in knowing how you reached the conclusion that he is "always Hor ny". Otherwise give links to support your assertion. |
kasiem:Can you please expatiate? |
You mean the girls/ladies you have encountered. So rewrite the topic. |
Why should giving be always about money? A real woman will value the time and affection shown to her than all the riches in the world. But alas!! Not so for [some] of our naija babes. As far as these naija babes are concerned, money is not everything in a relationship, it is the only thing. |
If you are a guy, in naija have a pot belly, then you better be rich. Otherwise a poor man with pot belly = kwashiorkor. |
r231:hahahahahaaaa |
Sam Milla:lol |
bebe2; i am yet to see any pics from you yet. |
This day should be dedicated to the hundred of thousand of lives slain by Muslim fundamentalist across the length and breadth of Nigeria, and in particular the more than 65 souls massacred by Muslim vampires of boko haram. How can Muslims be celebrating when their house is on fire. Sickening. |
I think the company starts with the letter m and the building is in the state that starts with letter L. Thats me being cheeky. Any way nice one OP. |
The man was not mentioned in the newspaper article. I pray he does not turn out to be the president, how later failed to turn up for the CHOGM forum |
A few days ago, a Nigerian attending the CHOGM was reprimanded for an alledged inappropriate sexual behaviour and now the president went AWOL from a meeting. |
Nice one. Stay blessed girl. |
@ op My man. Enjoyed following your travel threads. Seems none this year. Btw, hope you have resolved the issue with the man in property. |

A woman who admitted biting off her boyfriend's testicles has been warned she could be jailed. Maria Topp, 44, from Wreckenton, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm at Newcastle Crown Court. She bit Martin Douglas, her partner of five years, during a drunken brawl in February. She was granted bail to be sentenced next month and Recorder Robin Mairs warned her: "All options are open and that will include locking you up." The court accepted that violence had been used by both sides. Mr Douglas, 45, a DJ, later required 19 stitches to his wound. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/woman-faces-jail-for-biting-testicles-2375820.html |
lagerwhenindoubt:The robbers obviously used the girls as bait as they knew a good number of men would fall for this scam. Also i wonder if a similar incident has been repeated; 2005 is quite a while. lagerwhenindoubt:Now this is really funny lagerwhenindoubt:In Mexico, the authorities set up a website and have a free number, where people can feed in information about crime; even the police log in data on crime especially drug related. people can easily view this site and be updated on crime statistics right down to the nearest street. |

Last i heard the punch newspaper was the best selling one in Nigeria. So that should mean Nigerians read this the most. However i believe the Vanguard is the most visited and read online Newspaper. |
