tensor777: Well I am telling you to move on if the girl is not having you and even no send you. Yes you would suffer from a bruised ego and hurt pride but you would get over it and meet a woman who is ready to reciprocate your feelings. Attempting to manipulate her emotions and ego by playing the ignore game won't work for a girl of this type who is well-versed in tis trick even if a lot of posters here are not. u ar saying the same tin, move on settle for less, rather than change tactics to suit terrain- like sum1 pointed girls want/need to b tamed, so im asking how to tame her |

@all, tanx for the replies, much appreciated.
i aint new to this dating game, but then theres always this one chic a guy will fall mugu for, and she is d one and obviously she smelt my "desperation" b4 i zoned and "my oyinbo romantic moves" didnt/havnt work.
i observed sum ppl sed i shud move on- i feel thats a defeatist approach- wit the number of post giving similar advise, this kinda implies that a sizable number of married ppl in 9ja didnt really settle down with the ones they truely wanted, they settled for the ones that were available , its sad, and i wont end up dat way |

GeneralShepherd: @op my candid advice from a lot of field experience is this...
1. When you like a girl don't say it,show it. All the girls I slept with or dated were the ones I restrained myself from spilling my guts about how crazy in love I was with them.
2. Spend time with the girl- the simple fact is that with time spent emotions grow and this applies more to the ladies. Okay imagine you are a pretty lady,do you know how many romantic advances you have to deal with on a daily? Most of these men say the same things anyway,so how do you select from the pool of men drooling over you constantly? Time and sometimes though instant attraction.
3. Be reliable but still unpredictable, stop the flowers and the poems abeg if the girl wanted a pet puppy without control that will be all over her all the time, I bet she will go and buy a Lhasa alpo. Be an alpha-male
4. After two dates go for the first kiss boldly. If she kisses back then you have a new gf,if she doesn't you move ahead jor.
5. Lastly dating is a game of numbers, the more girls you meet the better your chances of meeting that girl that will like you as much as you like her. nice one, easier said than done sha |

HisRib: Hi There,
I sympathize with you dear. I understand everything you're going through and sincerely get why you're feeling this way, but you need to get over this girl.
I don't want to sound too harsh, but as a professional, I need to tell you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear.
This lady never loved you. She may have liked you for a period of time, but certainly didn't love you. And the fact that she moved on to someone else so quickly proves it.
You sound like a great guy. And believe me, there are hundreds of women waiting to be with a guy like you. You don't need to be crying over this girl. She is not worth it all dear.
My advice to you is, go on a few dates with other women. Don't jump into a serious relationship yet because you're still vulnerable and a woman would be able to sense it, and if she's a bad girl like your previous girlfriend, she will take advantage of you. I don't want you heartbroken again.
Just go on a few fun dates. Spend a lot of time with your friends, family or co-workers. This is not a good time for you to spend a lot of time alone. When you are alone, you'll be forced to think about her.
Get occupied with a hobby. Don't give yourself much free time. This will make the process of forgetting her easier.
As I mentioned before, you deserve better. There is a woman out there who will love you the way you deserve to be loved.
Be strong and know that I'm always here if you need encouragement.
X0X0 pls i need encouragement, wats ur number, lets do dinner |

ferhyntorlah: No be only you; it's annoying when my phone is away and I hear the sound of a new chat message only for me to see 'K' or 'kk'.
To the topic, I still don't get it why some ladies play hard to get. If you like a guy, make the environment conducive for him to woo you; doing do doesn't make you cheap, it makes you a LADY!
Seriously, it's annoying when someone takes time and effort to chat you up and you become mute for no reason all and when you finally respond, you do so lackadaisically because you don't want to be CHEAP!
To all you ladies still doing this, you better wake up and smell the dahm coffee before a good guy passes you by! im a good guy |
