Which/what acts? Like not giving a beggar N100 because am saving my N5000 naira for tithe? Bros make you shine your eyes abeg!
dats d daft part. If u can give God (seemingly unseen) 5K then if ur intention is truly good, u wudnt find it difficult helping ur fellow man, but the truth is most ppl obey not out of love of God, but greed/coercion/selfish interest (hoping God will double or triple it)and whoever does this only cheats him/herself cos God knws ur heart.

valencia25: STUPIDITY is when you don’t have a bicycle and you give your last penny to your pastor to buy a jet.

MUMU is when you can’t pay your children’s school fees and yet have money to contribute to your church to build expensive schools which your children will never attend..

IDIOCY is when you refuse to take your very sick child to the hospital because your pastor said you should not do so, yet that same pastor secretly runs to USA for medical attention any time he has a
headache.

KOLO is when you see a poor beggar on the road and you refuse to give him 50 naira out of the 5000 naira in your pocket because it is your tithe money....

YOU are a zombie when you trek, dance and gallivant for 30 kilometers under the hot
sunsweating and smelling like shit during your revival program, while your pastor is inside a full
option, factory fitted air-conditioned state of the art SUV with his delectable wife slow driving along the road.

IGNORANCE is when you believe it when your
pastor tells you not to live a worldly life, yet he enjoys all the best things in the world;the fine houses, cars, jets, babes etc, while you are waiting till you get to heaven to enjoy your own....

Stop worshiping your pastors!!! Stay focused on Jesus The author and finisher of your Faith. And learn to study the word. - John Okafor (Nollywood).

this thread has been hijacked and polarized, herd mentality has set in
one group of sheeps will nominate Past Tunde Bakare based on religion - the question is what did he freaking do- to deserve such a nomination?
another group would want to nominate Prof Barth Nnaji- because its become a tribal defense issue-

pls nominate an individual based on the effect he/she had on u during the year under review

AjanleKoko: Well . . . you said it all. 'Group of individuals' mean they are taking the action at their own discretion. That kind of empowers the company to act at their own discretion as well.

I guess that company isn't unionized. Pity about that. Labour laws should enforce union membership in this country (but I guess governments anywhere would never want that anyway embarassed)
dats one way of looking at it, but the other aspect is the company is also taking advantage of the fact that they arent unionized to do as it pleases. as i speak, the workers have not been reabsorbed and the few that chose not to partake, kept dia jobs, so ws it a better decision not to join d strikehuh

He's really talented. Hope he stays different and doesn't get sucked into the noise hype that's so common these days.

CareerTo Join A Strike Or Not by snthesis(op): 4:32pm On Nov 30, 2012
Hi my PPL,
i recently witnessed 1st hand a strike action by a group of individuals , the action resulted from a cut in their salaries, unfortunately/fortunately some members secretly chose not to be part of the action, after the protest, the company laid off workers that partook in the strike while the few that didnt got to keep their jobs.
Is it right for those workers not to have joined the protest, especially since it was a fight for better welfare for all? what is your own opinion
