ikhalyfah: The way @EpikNigeria explained the feature is a bit confusing. Those that don't understand might now start outbounding for names they do not own. |

ikhalyfah: This new feature by EPIK is not for domain sellers. Its is not unprofessional either. The feature is primarily for Domain Name Brokers. Imagine a scenario where you own a high quality name and can't get an end user to buy. You contact a broker who is more connected and he gets a buyer. The broker is the middle man and he initiates an escrow transaction. You as the seller would see a different price your own selling price). The buyer sees a different price(your broker's selling price). In the end, business is done and everyone goes home happy. Brokered Transactions There is a special case where a transaction is initiated by a domain broker who is neither the buyer nor the seller but is a facilitator of a transaction. In some cases, a broker is arranging for a two-sided transaction where buyer and seller see different prices. In this case, special coordination is required so that the final buyer receives their expected asset at their expected price, and the original seller receives their expected proceeds. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Brymo4all: @AwesomeDuru and @Viktor88. Please can you shed more light on these. How did you guys rank these domains. What makes them not worth registering. As we all know STR of domain names can be very low, knowing what not to register can be really helpful. 1 Like |

Hello. Please i need further clarification, i bought a name last week, i felt it would make a good brand name. Today, i decided to see if i could find potential end users and to my surprise, another company is already using the name on the //tech tld and they even trademarked the name. Last month, i believe i read somewhere that whoever owns the //king owns the online brand, but I'm not too sure . Is it safe to outbound to the owners of the //tech website ? |

Akjwyzepal: Finding end users for this type of name would be hard. Perhaps try to submit on SH, if its rejected, list it for sale on Afternic, Dan, Sedo and set a good BIN. 1 Like |

ikhalyfah: Crypto payment option is a feature every serious domain marketplace should start offering. Payoneer and Paypal only isn't enough in my opinion. But at the rate which SH is introducing new features, i hope they introduce crypto payments soon. Especially when you consider the recent Payoneer scare. Regarding your domain with Epik, registering a domain on Epik doesn't mean you must sell the name only on Epik marketplace. You can still list the domain for sale on Dan... or you don't want to do that? 1 Like |

codemaniacs: SH still wont accept it. Most likely because of the pronounciation Is it supposed to be pronounced *D U J E K* or *D U G E K* ? |

Syrinexa: After accepting an offer on Epik, you dont need to reduce your BIN as the buyer can still purchase for the offer price you accepted. If i were you, i wouldn't reduce the price on the landing page (be it Dan or Epik) so that when your buyer visits the page, he would still get that feeling that he has gotten a good bargain (the offered price being lower than the price on the landing page). In all i just pray your buyer has not gone silent on you. 2 Likes |

Darey207 : 1. List your name on the marketplaces. * Dan * Epik * Afternic 2. Search Google and Bing for available endusers for each of the domains. 3. Send every end user and outbound letter informing them that your domain is up for sale. Sit back, pray and wait for a reply. 4. If no reply, send a follow up letter to every end user after a few days. 5. If no reply send another follow up letter after a few days. This time, you will most likely get reply. Just that it might be a negative/aggressive reply. If you no sell any of the names after all of these, still no lose hope. Come back here and ask our bosses what is the next step to follow. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

cobby14: If he is buying from dan or epik, sell and move on. If he wants to buy from afternic only, the offer is too low. You will get almost nothing after charges are deducted. In my own opinion, let the marketplace deal with explaining transfer options to your buyer. 2 Likes |

Mikebio: Excellent (Completeness) doesn't mean it would be approved. If you register a name you submitted as unregistered before its reviewed, the name would be rejected and you would have to resubmit it as a registered name for it to be reviewed. |

ikhalyfah: Same guy sold ElectricCar for $100k+ like 2 months ago. He once said that in the beginning he used to price his names low in order to get quick sales. But now he can wait patiently till end users come knocking. The same end user that bought ElectricCar for $100k+ bought EVmodels//king from a different domainer for less than $2k on the same day. I wonder how the domainer that owned EVmodels would be feeling after finding out. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Sakaslim: If you don't want to take chances, backorder the name on Dropcatch or Snapnames. Otherwise wait patiently for the name to drop and register it, NB the name would only drop and become available for registration if no one else backorders the name. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Ramon92: Lol. Same way i just laugh at myself if I look at the first names i registered. If i have to advise any newbie today, i will say study on the sidelines for the first one or two months before you start buying names. Somehow, to start domaining with little or no cash in your hands is a blessing, because you can't afford to go on a buying spree like most beginners do. 4 Likes |

Princealex1: Permit me to chip in a little. The answers you provided are based on your own view. Maybe right from your own perspective. Consider InsureJointly, for example, if you own a finance/insurance brand, you would most likely not pick a name like this. Let me just say its a bit too specific. It restricts your company to insurance service only, not just that, but joint insurance service only. How can your clients understand that your firm offers other services, would you pick a new brandname/domain for each service you offer? For the second name, MoveYr, if you find out that you have to put effort to explain how a name is pronounced, its probably not a good brand name already. Having to explain what the name means can be excused, since made UP names also have a place in the brandable market. But having to explain how it's pronounced, that's not acceptable. 10 Likes |
