So Barter VCC just do me strong thing.
Bought a VCC yesterday and funded it with $10. All transactions failed. Woke up this morning and saw a $1.9 balance. I spoke with their support and the guy just said they charge $1 per transaction whether successful or not. So 10 failed transactions means $10 down the drain... e no fair oo |

Sign up at https://barter.flutterwave.com/ How long before these cards start to work. I bought a Dollar VCC and it seems like its not working yet. Cant pay on netsol or godaddy. Cant even be added to my PayPal |

micynute94: Check your email content for spam words as some servers are configured not to allow email messages with certain keywords in. They would just block it for you.
It might also be that the email address is no longer in use. Sometimes, business owners deletes their old email accounts and use new ones. Na dem sabi d reason for this.. Might be because of spam or something else. Anyways, I've experienced this very well...
A new account sending limit is usually restricted to about 25 - 40 messages at first until the account starts to build trust. As time goes on, if your account has a good sending reputation, they would keep increasing the limit until it reaches a max. of 500.
Currently, some of my accounts can send up to 100 messages while others can only send about 50+ messages. If I send pass that one, the account would be blocked cos I have exceeded the sending limit. Thanks. The account was reinstated few hours after appeal. |

ElonMosque: Lol 47 is small na. They just felt like blocking the account. Did you get any replies after ur first round of outbound? I have outbounded for like 15domains, 50emails per domain name and in all, i only got like 4replies |

ElonMosque: If the account is old, you can appeal. If its new, you'll most likely lose the appeal. Create a new account. If you have people you're in correspondence with in the disabled email acct, use your new account to contact them and ask them if you missed any messages from them... Otherwise, just contact all potential endusers like its the first time. The account is fairly new. I already have a second account, though i'm just worried about the people i have already outbounded to, since i'm just planning to begin follow ups. Does this Gmail blocking have to do with high bounce rates? i noticed the blocked account has about 47 bounced mails over a 2month period. |

So Gmail finally blocked the account i'm using for outbounds.
Is it worth it if i appeal or is it better to just create a new account for outbounds.
Also, does it make sense to follow up initial outbounds using another email address? |

U1: I woke this morning to a notification of a $349 sale from Dan. I was like, "Thank God o." Somehow, CornOak got to know about the sale before me.
The name is in my signature. It was the same one I reported someone offering $20 for in the post quoted below yesterday.
I feel more motivated with this sale I no go lie.
For people like me who felt like giving up at one point or another, I wish you even bigger sales. We sef go report 4-digit sale someday and move on from there in Jesus' name.
More sales to all of us. Your name sold last night The moment i saw it on recently sold, your post about a $20 offer came to mind. Congrats. |

meetme01: I have two questions..
What' does it connote having 2 syllables inscribed under a domain submitted on SH?
Someone has painstakingly explained step by step on how to outband to endusers.
Another has given samples of emails to use.
Please, can someone kindly show that love and guide on how to extract emails for a registered domain.
Thanks Read more about syllables Compare the following examples 1syllableBreeze Owl Peak Tom 2. SH wholesale marketplace is scary. Already approved names are being offered for less than $30.
Is this the final destination for SH names that don't get sold? |

Try it. Say the word out loud, can the person next to you write it down correctly ? |

Ayobamms: Funnily enough, the HoustonCraneService/king was available for hand reg few days ago .
I hope the new owner get something out of it this time. If its your dropped name that's still on ED, then what you had was HustonCraneService//king My guess is that the misspelt Houston is the reason why it never sold. |

grandstar: It is rare. This may be a one-man company you're dealing with. Trust his judgement. You don't know the domain name yet. And to turn down a $500 offer means he's very confident the name can sell for more. If you can afford renewals, why rush to part with names. Some domainers have held on to a name for years and still end up selling for profit. Afterall is business not all about taking calculated risks? |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by Softmojo(m): 5:13am On May 01, 2020 |
CornOak: That's probably because of your high acceptance rate. Mine takes 5 days on average. Their review time varies based on the domain. I have had lately submitted domains reviewed and approved while the earlier submitted ones still remain pending. |

iCauseTrouble: No. Only Dan Nameserver. You don't need to use afternic's nameserver before listing your name on their marketplace except you want to use them as your lander If i may ask, is this the same brandable domain you requested for help in replying an inbound offer a few weeks ago? |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by Softmojo(m): 5:08pm On Apr 30, 2020 |
iCauseTrouble: I sold 3 domains on afternic only this month without outbounding. Have sold more than 10 this year without a single outbound. I don't know if the previous owner bought this particular one I sold last, but from the previous names that have sold, a new brand/company took over. Your sales report is HUGE. Congrats. This is a proof that names listed on Afternic would still get proper exposure even before they are eligible for Fast Transfer. |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by Softmojo(m): 3:06pm On Apr 30, 2020 |
grandstar: It is so risky submitting an unregistered name. I prefer to register it and if not chosen, then list on other domain name marketplaces like Afternic, Epik, and Dan. Lots of sales are made on Afternic. The only problem is their high commission which is more than justified as they to pay their partner networks which provide the wide reach in the first place to get your domain sold.
Don't forget Brandbucket, Brandpa, Namerific, Sedo, Namejet and other places. Get the point. SH approving your name doesn't mean it will automatically sell before you need to renew. Take for example @McCainReal has a portfolio of over 100 SH approved names. Assuming all these names are owned by him, he will have to pay a renewal of approx $10 x 100+ names. That's a lot for reinvestment. Now you see the wisdom in allowing SH own the majority of your names. When the name sells, you get paid without even investing a dime. |

For the Pros in here, please advise what's the best response to the question 'How much for this?'.
I always reply with a price and encourage the end user to make offer. But this doesn't seem to be working as users don't reply afterwards. |
