Davidbanky: How do I know if my 3GS is not factory unlocked ? I bought I frm someone pls

honor2011: The problem centered on the limitations of OS 4.1 on a 3Gs. I cannot use most of the applications include Facebook, whatsapp, etc, as most of these applications can only run on OS 4.3 upward. So I downloaded OS 4.3 & 6.0 with a viewing to manually updating from OS 4.1 to either 4.3 or 6.0. Whenever, I tried to do the update and after contacting itune, it will just say update cannot be done bcs of error1394. I've googled for similar problem, one person say the error iscaused by cable, but I've also tried different cables all to no avail. Do u understand my explanation? What do u think can be done. Have you ever upgrade from 4.1 to any higher OS?

To catch the theives, it just attach some miniature Gps receiver to the cat, release the cat to go while tracker it with a radar, the kitty catty wil definitely go to its owner/trainer! Whoops! Trace the gps device retreive the cat and capture bastards. Just an opinion though, what do u think?

tonardo: My experience this evening.. just flash my s3 with a new ROM an needed to update some stuff so been trying to connect with set DNS but to no avail trying many tricks until I uninstall the set DNS and it connect instantly just confuse about this MTN bis a thing

The time it will take for the battery to be fully charged depends largely on the amount of charging current and some other factors like temperature.
it might take longer than necessary to charge the battery if the charging current is low and will be quite fast if the charging current is high.

truth is there are like a few IPs that u get assigned that will owrk. since u cannot chhose the IP u get from MTN's BIS servers, u should just keep reconnecting to the server till it gives u an IP that connects.

yesterday was different though because at a point even DroidVPN refused to connect.


what i do at times is select the APN, and toggle airplane mode a few times till it gets a IP that goes. if i try that for like 5 minutes and it still does not, i remove the sim from the phone and insert it back and boot.

thats the real truth about the ish. whether its worth the hassle is your choice to make. DroidVPN works more often than not without all these wahala

caesaraba: It's through the use of paid VPN's jaree. You subscribe on BB and then get a VPN (which you have to pay for). With that you can download unlimited.

The other fella who was bragging earlier about downloading movies actually uses a paid (Lead...) VPN.

Most of these guys who come here to brag actually wanna hi-jack your thread and get some customers to sell these VPN's to. Hence, they'll just say "I download unlimited" without actually saying how they do it. (As if it's rocket science to open a new thread and advertise).

tonardo: That's exactly how it works on android,it usually take some time b4 connection will be esterblish.. but once connected its connected.. the weekly plan I subscribe is still working on my S3 perfectly..have downloaded files Worth 935mb and another file 315mb plus all the video streaming on YouTube and irokotv..even connecting my laptop to my phone hotspot...I shall say it unlimited wit set dSn ...when connecting alway be patient...its working for me..
