PoliticsRe: Senate Says President Has Not Declared Any State Of Emergency by softy(m): 9:08pm On May 17, 2013
dc555: The President is the Chief Security Officer of the Nation and has the Executive power to make Emergency decisions. So if Cameroun invades Nigeria, the President should consult the National Assembly before taking any decision?
I totally agree with u, man!

we as a people, when Jonathan was pleading with these boko guys,condemmed him as slow,retard and inactive person;
Now he acted wisely to stop the menace, some misguided leaders are crying foul!

When people were being slaughtered or bombed beyond recognition, what did the senate do more than TALKING- condemning the act?

It is a pity that NIGERIA is run by leaders that talks with two sides of their mouth at the same time. They believe in holding water in their mouth,if they really want to quench burning fire.

Is it in our constitution that Nigerians should be killed anyhow? What kind of bad riddance to classy rubbish the acts of our leaders.
or is it in the constitution that senate and house of representatives should holding nigerian to ransom by onlyTALKING and LOOTINGhuh They love quoting constitution which has no effect on them, in turn, they have turn our rights as constitution to CONSTIPATION for the rest of Nigerians minus them and the family: they will pay someday.

I want you to recall that last year when boko guys were on 'what -seems -not- ending' rampage of serial bombings, all these leaders were hiding, even packing all their family members out of the 'Hot Zone' because they have the meanshuh?.....BUT an ordinary citizen that pays his or her tax and obey all rules and regulations should die for funhuh?

Concerning the matter at hand, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Commander and Automatic Head of state,Commander in Chief and Topmost Field Marshal of Army Forces of Nigeria, who has vecto power and from whom Almighty God will ask from on how he ruled this nation in his lifetime, irrespective of leader style and constitution, IS completely RIGHT to defend the right of his nation's citizens in various forms that deem fit!

Who knows if Jonathan is even acting on INTELLIGENCY to prevent further ''bigger and dreadful'' plans of these boko guyshuh

As for some school of thought that think that Jonathan has done bad thing concerning 'declaring state of emergency'... What do y'all think he should have donehuh

As for our senate leaders making mountain out of nothing, TIME will TELL!

Thanks.

saintneo: EKE NEKWA ONYE UKA ~ PYTHON, CHRISTIAN HERE

I was born and raised in Anambra, I have always known of this tradition in Anambra. These snakes visit home stay with children without harming them. I have never heard of a case where there was injury or death as a result of this snake. In my place in Enugu, there is snake we don't kill as well ~ Awgo Ocha(White Snake) usually small in size.

Somehow, there seems to be an equilibrium between these snakes and their communities. It is the same equilibrium we have with other animals like dogs. Also, these snakes could be endangered species.

I'm against the killing of this snake. Firstly, this snake was sleeping in the children's room. For the snake to be sleeping, it means the snake had being there for longer period without harming anyone. Why didn't the pastor secure his children first before seeking its destruction? Why didn't the pastor show any mercy?
There are some situations in life u will find ur self and in terms of safety, then ur instincts will work better.....especially when it comes to ur lovely children.

Stop blaming the pastor jooor!

God is interested in every detail of our lives. The earth we're living in is doomed for destruction. God is creating a new heaVen and earth and no tiny sin or worldliness will be allowed to enter and pollute that new place.
Your choice: dress modestly/godly and make heaven or deceive yourself that it doesn't matter and miss the rapture

Omo_Tier1: In your mind, you really think Jesus when He appears, a human flesh will be something to reckon with in His presence? Let me say this: No man or woman will go to Hell because of what He or She wears. Rather, any man whorefused to accept Jesus as His Lord and Saviour, such will be cast aside into the abyss.

Whilst modest dressing is to be encourage, lets not make religion out of it. For man looks at the outside, God sees and works with the inside. Clearly Jesus said: It is not worth enters a man that corrupts Him but what comes out of Him - Think what this really means.
What an interpretation!....wowhuh?

''No man or woman will go to Hell because of what He or She wears. Rather, any man whorefused to accept Jesus as His Lord and Saviour, such will be cast aside into the abyss.''

This is a pure lie! Dyu really understand what is called Godliness and Worldliness.......they are two constrasting standards.

Note this: if u dress anyhow, u will give account of it. And if care is not taken now, it may land u in hell! - am not judging ooo, but it is a fact according to Jesus's explanations.

Pls,Bros!........when it comes to God and His standards.......no DILUTION and HERESIES!

Dressing well is part of what Jesus said ''let ur light so shine before all men........'' this include the way u relate with, talk to,dress ,react, act, argue, decide and understand others.
@op, u have really said it all.
Some of them (both male and female ) are not ordinary! (u really know what i mean).....they are sent to cause DISTRACTIONS!

Even the bible declared that ''women should dress in all modesty''......unclothedness is not part of what Almighty God demands from U and I.
He hates seeing both ADAM and EVe in unclothedness, that is why he created animal skin (called hide) to cover it.

ItsModella: Exactly, there's a limit tolerance can go. Everybody has a limit, agreed. That is the point when you play out your last card before knowing whether it is wise to walk out or not. The impression I got from her post is as soon as love dies, walk out. Wtf? It's not a relationship but marriage, you don't just walk out without thinking of the consequences. Whether you want to admit it or not, love dies at certain points in a relationship, it doesn't mean you should just give up. Try and make it work, not walk out. Unless it has become overly repetitive and you can see that no headway is being made.

Remember, if ur mum had HELD onto this kind of DISGUSTING ideas called ''ur thinking''..... She will not have given birth to u.

In fact, what are we really talking about here??

Marriage is ORDAINED by GOD!

I don't really know why one will wake up and think about something like what the OP is arguing about- if not deluded.

As I had said before, and implying from ur several answers to the questions asked by wise women and men here- u are just showing UR IGNORANCE about what u really want in life,U dont respect God's laydown rules and organisations, CONFUSED,FRUSTRATED, or u are looking for people like u that can really agree with ur innuendos!.......

My advice:

Stay clear of any relationship now if u are really that bittered! - pray and change ur ATTITUDE to MEN.

Note: bad characters destroys women of virtues.

After six months, initiate another relationship, after u might been ok.

@OP, what is ur own personal plan concerning marriage??.....u wanna marry someday?.........because bad examples of marriage dominate ur area where u live DOES NOT connote men see women in marriage as 'slave'........!

Whether figuratively or literarily, your 2% about sane men that treat women right is just ridiculous.........so, 98% of men (whether married, aspiring, undecided) are INSANE (treats women like gabbage)huh?

Nigeria is blessed with both bad women and men as a group, and others as good ones!

What is ur parental background?......can u explain the kind of love you learn from them?

If u are not a feminist, don't act like one.

To tell u as a fact, some married women are very bad, even transfer the bad habits to their daughters!.......and the cycle continues!

What is ur point of bringing up a thread that shows who u really are- disturbed and bitteredhuhhuh

My advice for u:
Make hay when the sun shines!
be ready to bring in good character whenever u are ready to get hooked!

FamilyRe: Why Don't Christians Apply The Bible To Their Lives Especially In Marriages? by softy(m): 7:07pm On Apr 21, 2013
bukatyne: I have noticed that so many men are quick to say that women should submit to their husbands. Some even claim that women and men are not equal. However, I want to address the christian men since they should understand the concept of Biblical submission.

1. Why don't they practice the kind of love God expects from them? 1Cor13:1 - 13 i.e. Love is kind, patient, polite, not boastful, endures all things, never loses hope, is never happy with injustice, always happy when the truth wins out etc?
2. Why do they always want their wives to submit before loving them even though Christ commanded them to love their eives as He loved the Church?
3. Why do they think submission of their wives makes her inferior considering the fact that God told us to submit to one another? Eph 5:21?
4. Why do they think hunmility, gentleness etc are qualities to be developed by women even though they are clearly the fruits of the Holy Spirit (i.e. Love, joy, peace, faith, gentleness, longsuffering, hope, tolerance and self control) which is the characteristics of a believer either male or female?
5. Why do they allow their families to treat their wives like a household slave even though the Bible says a man will leave his mother and father and cleave to his wife?
6. Why do some of them still support adultery even when the Bible clearly condemns it?

I would appreciate if christian men can answer.

Other men can but please no bashing allowed.

If you don't understand the concepts, please just read.

Thanks.
Please answer the following questions humbly:

Are u a christian?
Are u married?
What makes it difficult for anyone or someone to easily submit and succumb to a higher authority (husband, leaders and heads)as God demandedhuh
Is it sturbborness, inferiority complex or superiority complex, gender-equality mindsethuh

Your answers are very important!

THANKS

Oohrhii: I smile at all these replies.. but none of them actually does it.

The problem the OP has is that his hormones levels are high due to not having s.ex for a long period of time.

Its something you were used to before..but now lacking. You have a high se.xual drive but that does not mean you would last much during s.ex. you are just Hot ni.

The solution.. is >>>Try to masturb.ate more frequently on your own maybe twice a day or more if you can, so as to lower your hormones level.

In a week or 2 you should be alright.
Masturbatehuh?.... !!!!

@op, PLS DONT EVER TRY TO MASTURBATE...... This act leads addiction and it is clearly a BONDAGE!

If care is not taken and at a point, if God do not intervene after u must have been addicted to it, MASTURBATION would be a destroying act for u.

U can check a lot of on this forum (romance & sexuality, for instance ),u will see that MASTURBATION is a principal bondage ,at initial stage,it is sweet, but LATER, one always regret it!

The first response and second response on this thread solve ur problem.

Simply control ur mind and desist from the wrong acts that controls ur mind.

My 2 cents.

FamilyRe: What Is Wrong In Taking Money From Your Hubby's Pocket? by softy(m): 9:28pm On Apr 14, 2013
greatgod2012: I wont twist words here.........taking money from your hubby's pocket/wallet without informing him, is STEALING, regardless of the type of man he is and also regardless of how rich he is.
Consider this scenario and clearly state how you will feel if it happens to you.
A man kept some amount, lets say, #5000 naira, the second day, he thought the money is still intact, went to a boutique to buy a beautiful dress for you, which costs the same amount, bought it, and when hes about to pay, he discover the money is #1000 less, imagine the embarrassment you would have caused him by your action.
Another example, both of you already have kids, and he kept money in his pocket, only for him to get to know on getting to work the next day, that part of the money is missing, and by the time he would be back home, you had gone to the market and he just assumed that its the kids that must have taken the missing money and he has already punished the kids severely before your arrival, only to discover that the kids are being punished for the money you stole, how will you feelhuh
So, stealing is stealing, if you need the money, ask your hubby or take permission from him before taking his money, and if hes the stingy type, abeg, two wrongs can never make a right, d4, ignore him and manage the ones with you, in this life, there is a blessing that is attached to doing and being good, especially, taking care of one's immediate family and he who refuse to play his part misses the blessing. Dont allow a stingy man to turn you into a thieve.
May God help us all.
God bless u.

This topic has led to many problems in many homes.

Strictly, God is against it.

We should always create awareness concerning what does not (privately) belong to us.
