jumper524: Arrant rubbish. The researcher need 500strokes of koboko on his back.. Rubbish.
When people don't have anything (tangible/sensible/honorable/developmentally/progressive) to do, they enter deep thinking, and voila, their mouth automatically opened and they start to impress their inordinate results of thinking on the general populace. It is called Case 1 Malady.
They should stop the madness. Stop turning false depression induced reasoning to Facts of Life!
Beating anyone on those mentioned parts of the body DOES NOT incite any sexual activity, but sends signals to your centr nervous system at that point in time, as an INFLICTED PAIN, especially as a Penalty for doing wrong thing.
mfm04622: All these challenges you mentioned, do we ordinary citizens contribute to them? Why are we always about govt when we ordinary citizens are the main perpetrators of the ills in the society? The change begins with you. Change yourself, then demand that others change
It takes two to tango. Yes citizens (both the government and the governed) are culprits for those crime mentioned above. But power and chances, privileges and authority has been passed to our leaders to checkmate all these problems.
Do not forget that, these leaders were once followers. They seriously knew what to do, But thoughts like the one you proffered in your post has blinded their reasoning. Think about this. Even when we run to abroad (working society e.g. America, Europe, Asian, e.t.c), this your thought process still lead us to temptations and crimes, as we can see in the daily news. WE need to change our thought process!
A responsible government must in all honesty tackle moral and societal problems with progressive policies, firm institution, and balanced systematic approach to issues; not adding and contributing to the problem. you know this, but you really want us to accept your verdict?.....Nah, it doesn't work like that.
mfm04622: You all want Nigeria to be better. For Nigeria to be better, require investment. Most government all over the world get their funds from taxations. Nigeria have the lowest tax to GDP ratio in the whole world! In the whole world! Yet, you complain when government borrow. How do you want government to fund activities if you don't pay taxes and you don't want govt to borrow? Do your part, then insist the money is well spent! Any other thing, I am deceiving myself and want Nigeria to remain as she is! If you can buy a Nigerian used car for 500k, why are you complaining of paying for the plates? Sebi the plates is only for those who can afford cars? Or motorcycles. If you can afford 100k motorcycle, what is 5k?
The problem about this is not how government of the day wish to generate Tax, but it is how the corruption, inflation, insecurities, bad government policies, lawlessness, corruption of justice, selective judgement, ethnic nepotism, and all the bad deliveries of our leaders ( devil himself fears terribly at the mention of Nigerian leaders) in all ramifications, has affected daily living of Nigerian's life.
We should be objective in our contribution to the national discussion.
Someone that terrorized SW that the people now live in fear of his name...
I am aware that yorubas are happy atleast they can now enjoy peace.....
I put it to you, you know you are terribly chewing wrong information, and spitting it out as the pressure of being petty so pushing you, carelessly! He is not a terrorist
Nobody in the past or now were/are living in the fear of him. He is loved by his people
Yoruba are not happy about this problem. That is the main reasonumber our Oba, His Royal Majesty, Ooni of Ife constituted a committee.

Empiree: don't bring bororo into this. Yoruba Christians did the oppose. They do not pray for Muslims. Rather they pray for destruction and confusion amongst Muslims in their 1994's 69 prayer points headed by RCCG and Deeper Life. But here we seen Muslim prayed for you clowns. So this is not about bororo. Don't shift goalpost. This is about you Christian intolerance.
Your 1994 manifesto said it all. It calls for death and destruction of Muslims in Nigeria. I will never see Yoruba christians as family. It was the same Adeboyea and co that led RCCG those days and reigned their evil "prayers" of destruction and deaths on Muslims. You can not escape this. We have documented proof which means Nigeria Christians are intolerant and violent people.
I am not sorry to say that this unfortunate demise of Adeboye's son was payback for his evil scheme at Ebute Meta in 1994. But I acknowledged his son's time was up and was not related. If you want proof of Christian Association Of NIGERIA's 69 prayer points, check my profile.
The main christian bodies in CAN those days were RCCG and Deeper Life.
This is a quote against you in year 2020 by someone who intelligently read through you and your insinuations, convictions, gimmicks, tricks, passion, phobia, videos, submissions and allegations, below:
"You are a chronic Hypocrite
You have no single right to advocate for Muslim rights
Leave it for people that respect other religions
Just went through some of your posts and noticed that you keep fighting imaginary wars with Christians
You cant even answer most Muslim questions without first comparing to how same is better than Christianity.
I have worked with and stayed with many Muslims and i still have nothing but absolute respect for how they treat their fellow human beings.
But you Empiree is not a true Muslim
You are the ones causing bad names for Muslims all over the world
You can easily be brainwashed into being a lethal Terrorist if you are not one already.
Have seen few Muslims who I know other Muslims will never be proud of and you Empiree is worse than them.
Wake up"
My own submission is " Pls wake up from the past, and move on, both of the religions are way more than what human brain can easily fathom....... stop fighting for religion, it does not help anyone nor does it improve our life. Fight to have ur own personal life saved"
Once one is totally confused about conviction, such person would be as backward as third world countries-- my 2 cents.
Caveat: This is my final admonition to you, I may not reply you and your opinions if I discover that are u still 'sleep walking'

1. Pls, apart from this scam case you just treated, does it mean that Longspan Aluminium is inadvisable to procure based on one's pocket value?
2. You mentioned that if someone is looking for cheap product, what would you advice a client who had planned to use Longspan Aluminium Roofing sheet based on his/her pocket budget??
3. What could cause the leaking: nature of the sheet or the incompetence of the installer?
4. What should be done to prevent this leakage (an advice to the client)?
Your kind and experienced reply would be highly appreciated. I have people around me who are highly depending on the answers to this question so as to.make their final decision. Thanks in advance.

@Tiwatope, bad people are everywhere, same as good people. I am not tribalistic in nature.
If that is ur real name, then you betrayed ur self by concluding that ONLY the people I hailed in my comment are known for such negative vibes. Ruthless and evil characters know no tribe. Pls, be reasonable for once!
If u are disguising through your moniker, u need serious help.
Dont quote me again, if ur intelligence weight can not carry my premises. Thanks.
ProfAmaben: No, I as an Igbo elder also respect the Yorubas today onwards. You guys are men, but it should stop here abeg, we love Lagos and it's people, enough already.

The topic title is wrong.
You would have made it better this way:

DEM DON TOO TRY.
MEANWHILE, THE OLD FOOLS ARE STILL TRYING TO PUSH A TRIBAL NARRATIVE TO DIVIDE SOUTHERN NIGERIA, BUT NOBODY IS LISTENING, ANYMORE.
THE DIVISION IS BETWEEN RICH AND POOR, POLITICIANS AND THEIR MILITARY PROTECTORS, VERSUS THE REST OF US.
U CAN IMAGINE WAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF FOR SAY DEM CATCH OBA.
So, YORUBA/AFONJA YOUTHS/PEOPLE ARE NOT BETRAYERS AND COWARD no more??
The narrative has changed in the mind/mouth of people who know nothing about collective effort/Yoruba people,
Glory be to God.
From ab initio, YORUBA PEOPLE ARE MEN OF WAR!!! THEY WERE /ARE SPECIAL KIND OF WARRIORS who calculate carefully and vigorously before they jump into actions!
welturebotanical: when that interior wiring is connected to the government power supply you may still be able to get a good current if there's no fuse to break it down, but without fuse this current will be too high for all the home appliances and therefore will damage them, that is why all power coming from the pole are connected to a fuse that breaks it down to something ur home can take. When u connect this thick wire to that fuse, there will be fluctuation in the electricity of that house, because d current will want to wrap around that thick circumference n long length of the wire, before reaching each destination of every appliances and stuffs which will lead to low supply to ur appliances n bulbs etc, that is because the power from d pole has been broken down by the fuse. But I still need engineers to make corrections on what I said.. I may be wrong.
funmisticqueen2: If roles were reversed, they would expect the wife to wash her MIL's clothes.
I have no issue with him washing his mother in law's clothes. But UNDIES!! Hell no!! That's disrespectful. Except she is I'll.
But does the husband wash his mother's underwear? If he does, then it's hypocritical that he's shouting to heaven for washing his 'other mum's' underwear.
The right thing to do is for the mother to have asked the husband directly only for the clothes, while she washes her undies. That act was disrespectful.
But pushing the mother out is not for the best. Asking the mother of your newborn to choose between you and her mother is unfair and it's manipulative, emotional blackmail. Then he adds the salt of threatening not to do the chores again. In that case, I hope he is ready to hire help, because she didn't marry him so that she would do house chores for the rest of her life.
Let the mum apologise to the husband for the disrespectful act first.
Then, Let the husband apologise to the MIL for overreacting and the wife for putting her in a situation he would never like to be put in.
Simple!c
All the points u made hère are very cruel, condesceding and disgusting.
It is an act of wickedness of the highest order to have manipulated the man to wash the MIL clothes in the first place.
The wife knew what she was doing. Both the wife and her mother are evil and love playing victim.
Be educated that, roles of a wife in her MIL circumstance can not be swapped for roles of the husband in his MIL circumstance.
THE HUSBAND MUST NEVER APOLOGISE. BOTH WOMEN SHOUKD CLEARLY APOLOGISE WITH SO MUCH REMORSE.
It is even insulting that the manipulative MIL told the husband that 'if it was his mother's cloth'
If I were the one, the MIL will go, the wife would be severely punished ( not by beating or throwing tantrums, there are 1001 ways to punish such manipulate daughter of eve) and the marriage will end after 5 hours.
Note: you may want to go gaga on me, and play emotional script cumming with ferocious victim mentality with my view on this subject matter, u would be sadistically ignored.
TempleHouse: Infact, BBC exposed Lecturers, Members of Congress, Head of Corporates Organisations etc, Members of Royal Families, Musicians and even including the serving Prime Minister on any allegations and any crimes which is of public interest. There is a BBC program called PANORAMA which is aired on quarterly basis and it' can be viewed online and on You Tube. Hope it satisfy your curiosity !
U dey mind those funny set of our educated illiterates wey FULL NAIJA.
Read, they will not. Contribute sensibly to an issue objectively and pragmatically., they will not.
THESE SETS OF PEOPLE ARE EVERYWHERE IN OUR SOCIAL STRATA IN NIGERIA.
That's why they blame even their tomorrow on every thing they can lay their hands on, so as to improve their frustrated levels of thinking faculty and self inflicted paranoia.
Imagine if these ones are lecturers!
These sex addicted lecturers (whose victims are married women, single mothers, beautiful girls from poor background and quiet girls) are everywhere in Nigeria's 'Studysphere'
naijaguy123456: The British want to destroy our top educational institution. The British have done nothing positive for this country. If Unilag had made a major breakthrough in research would the BBC publish or run documentary on it ? Go to Uk universities and your white professors will be telling you that you can’t graduate here with first class because you’re black! They should run documentaries on those .
Hmmmmm....... Not funny. We should be honest with ourselves. British do not want to destroy any top institution in Nigeria, rather they are putting things in order, for a girl child, engaged, and married women who are students to survive in our environment.
If u know what these monsters (sex addict lecturers) are doing every blessed day to female students, u will definitely applaud the BBC.
RichDad1: Are there no ministers in that region to fight this cause at the FEC meetings ? What of Senators and Representatives from the region to mount pressures on the MDAs ? What are your Governors doing anytime they Visit Abuja? Share money, Bleep Olosho and come back to feed people like you fables and bitterness of how the FG neglects your region.
How long has that road been bad ? I’m sure it predates this administration. Why can’t southern Governments give attention to things that concerns their people ? They will rather stash dollars in Dubai, UK and Panama. The President, Minister for Petroleum, Minister for Finance , Minister for Niger Delta were all from this region at one time. What about NDDC? What difference did they make ?
Throughout the agitation of the Militants , have you ever heard them demanding the Government should fix that road to world standard? It’s all about personal wealth acquisitions.
The money/Jewelries that EFCC recently forfeited from Deziani can fit that road.
What about the luxury Yatch owned by Kola Aluko? Or the Millions of Dollars seized from PEJ?
Forget all these stories, the politicians know what to do to get that road fixed but they won’t because it will affect their embezzlement duties.
Even if private companies what’s to fix the road , the Locals, Especially the youths will be all arms to demand settlement.
We’re are our problem in the South. Leave the northerners out of it.
If it is permitted to like this post one billion times, I would have done so by now.
This post is the truth and the fundamental problem on which all other problems were built on top.
How many government's hospitals (local, state and Federal) are at optimum and realistically operational.
Both young and old people of Nigeria are the problems of Nigeria.
larrixauto2017: Hello sir. If am not mistaken the you have been using the car for the last 10 or 9 month without oil replacement.? Ok good According to what you wrote you said the mileage is just 3,250. And the right time for an oil change interval for this car is 5,000 miles or 6month. I will just tell you this things which are : 1) Check if the car as maintainance required light which indicate when there is time for an oil change. If the light is working normally and he has not indicate in the cluster. Sir you are good to go. till 5,000 miles 2) And also check the oil light if is not coming up. 3) Check for oil leakage If there is nothing wrong. You are good to go sir
Thank you for your kind response.
All the conditions in (1), (2), and (3) above are in good terms.
Till this morning, No Maintenance Required Light On, No Engine Oil Light On, No leakage ( no short of engine oil).
For future reference, I will be looking out for those conditions.
The car was loaded withan Original Mobil 1 Advanced Full Synthetic Oil in December 2018.
Since then, the car has gone on long journey only once.
Now, in this September 2019, the engine oil has not been changed. Though the manual recommended 5,000 miles or 6 month, but the mileage reads 3,250 only as it is only used from home to office/church/market daily.
1. please, when do you advice the engine oil should be replaced.?
The oil IS NOT smelling like 'burnt offering' and the level is not short.
2. Would you advise that the car should travel on a long journey once more before the oil change?
Thanks in advance for answering these questions to the best of your knowledge sir.
nlanded: First go to a probate registry in any high court, request for a letter of inquiry to mandate the bank to give the deceased account balance. This can be given to one or more family members of the deceased on presentation of relevant documents.
After getting the account balance, the probate registry would issue you a letter of administration.
You bring that letter to the bank and proceed to open an estate account linked to the deceased, you or any other family member would be signatories of the account. All you need to open such an account is 5k for a probate registry search.
The funds from the deceased account would be transferred to the estate account and you/family can do whatever you want with the funds.
The bank where I work you can get all the funds within 2 weeks at most.
PS: Funny how people are talking about next of kin and all, it doesnt matter here when it comes to this, the bank doesnt give a damn who you wrote on your account details as your next of kin, all they respect is the letter of administration brought from a probate registry by any family member. Next of kin on paper is just for formalities.
When the bank as you rightly revealed in ur last addendum know that it is a futile exercise at the long run when one fills in 'next of kin', why the compulsion and unnecessary brouhaha about it everytime one engages such document?.
How can you ask your own father, the one that jointly produced you biologically to go and do dishes by himself? How can one even think of that nonsense towards your father or mother? Especially African parents!
Even if the father was not responsible for her school fees ab initio, even if the father is most irresponsible in the whole world!
The kind of oscillated mind society is producing now will erode the right to live and let live away, with regrets!
The father in this stories will do more than not paying school fees, especially if the mother is also nauseatingly biased (according to OP and the story)
This is not about feminist, it is about lack of common respect coupled with sound home training.
Nosainwe: really impressive sir! I am motivated I jst got admission same course i would appreciate if u give me a heads up be it tips, materials especially for a first year student thanks in advance
Hmmmm, God is ur strength bro.
Where can I start now ooooooooooo....?
OK.
My motivation then:
1. God factor : with God all things are possible.
2. Time factor and Curiousity: how best do u make of ur time.? How well do u want to learn and apply new things to ur current knowledge in engineering or science?
Remember : there is time to read, there is time to relax.
For example: Those days, I could read up to 9 hours non stop but nothing enters my head after 11pm, even when reading for the simplest course subject, taking my time slowly and making sure I understand the problematic page before I move on to the next chapter. Created time to look for more materials apart from the Lecturers Handouts. Created time to peruse through and connect every dots on the I'd of any difficult topics. Created to play football, laughed harder through comedy movies, watched ICT or SciFi movies to open u up for scientific curiousity.
Funny abi? But these funny things made me an OVB student when I graduated.
Note pls: what worked for me may not work for u, because of our individual differences.
2b. Be positively passionate and committed, not emotional but constructively be truthful to the matter at hand - being a successful student.
3. Be humble, learn from others, don't argue unnecessarily. Don't think u are perfect. Yearn to learn new things. Create positive environment for urselves not minding the storms of life that could be discouraging. U need to shine forth. Learn from people mistakes. Mingle with people that u are convinced that are better than u. Teach the little u know to those who know lesser than u.
For Electrical Engineering books:
There are billions of soft copies of Electrical Engineering Books on the internet. Use "wikipedia" to ur advantage all the time.
Learn how to draw and remember Electrical drawings, learn how to remember formulas without mincing them. Learn how to meditate on those formulas, this helps slot. Don't cram, u will forget and develop unnecessary headache, at the long run.
Finally, Continuos Assessment is usually 30 marks or 40 marks as the case may be or based on the course lecturer. While exam could be 70 or 60 marks respectively. Be strategic. Strive 22/30 or 28/40 or more, if not everything in CA.
For exam strive to have 48/70 or 42/60 or more, if not everything.
Target to always high marks in 3 unit courses. Target not to have low marks in 2 unit courses. Avoid carry over or repeated course always. Don't have over confidence attitude, it results to outright failure.
When u are getting the crown little by little, don't be proud..... Help people solve mathematical problems. Be crazy about mathematical manipulations because it cuts across all ur courses in engineering apart from GST courses.
Solve a lots of past questions.Be highly resolved about this, please.
Get a further mathematics texbook to understand the rudiment of calculations in courses.
Get Engineering mathematics 1 and 2 for easy mathematics calculations.
Above all, determine and be focus, to have a very good and excellent grade, then the Good Lord will add better values to ur secret hardworks.
Thank u sir. God bless u. We will meet at the top.
Nobody has it all. God will make u successful in the journey.

By the grace of Almighty God, I saw this thread 2 minutes ago.
Precisely, last week of January 2019, I sat down in my office, while my colleagues were discussing the election matters, I felt in my spirit that I should tell them that "the election will be postponed". I told them all and it happened . To God Be the Glory.
franchasng: Most of the officers that perpetrate these brutal cold blood killing of civilians using guns provided to them by the Nigerian government are Hausa-Fulani officers; they are usually brutal whenever they are working in the Southern part of Nigeria.
The truth is, if not for Yoruba people's love for betrayal and selling out of other Southern Nigerians to Hausa-Fulani in order to get some crumbs that fell of northern dominated Nigerian government, there is nothing that ought to bring Southern Nigeria together with Northern Nigeria because Northern Nigerians don't value human life, they love poverty and are religious extremist who sacrifice human capital development for ancient religious doctrines and practices
Yoruba people are the single reason the north take we southern Nigerians for granted, all because of useless favors they ought to get by merit in a functional country (for instance, just because they want Osinbajo to become next President, they are foolishly supporting a terrorist to rule them again without asking if they will be alive to witness the fake promise, its depressing to be in one nation with foolish, selfish, backstabbers and backward thinking lunatics ), yet they claim to be sophisticated my foot
I warned Atiku to give Yorubas VP slot, Atiku should have picked a Yoruba VP so that Yorubas can be happy and not vote the terrorist again just because they want VP.
Atiku ought to have known that Igbos would have still voted for him en mass even if he picked Yoruba VP, all Igbos want is a safe, prosperous Nigeria free of tribalism, religious extremism, terrorism, incessant killings and tyranny, Igbos don't care who becomes the President so long as its not a tribal-religious terrorist, Atiku if u eventually lose the election, blame yourself
My brother, you don't need to be tribalistic before u make sense in ur comment.
Yes the incident was very bad, but in every community, there are bad eggs and good ones.
One advice, u really need to be objective in ur disposition.
