Romance › Re: I Am Confused In Choosing A Wife Partner by softy(m): 8:55am On Feb 21, 2023 |
Britishcoins: Pls my fellow Nairalanders, I am in confused state of mind right now... I am in my early 30. I am not super rich but I am financially comfortable, at least living in my own apartment and having a business that give me atleast 600k monthly. I am equally the first son and my parents are late, so I am like the head of the family to my younger ones... Age is no longer at my side and I have no reason why I am still single.. But there is a problem. I have plenty female admires.. Even some which was suggested for me through families and friends.. But only 2 of them I will talk abt now
Let me call one of them Judith and the other one IFEOMA. Judith is from from the same local government with me.. I knew her when she was still in secondary school and I was apprentice then... I don't even know what was called love then.. We only greet like brother and sisters because we are in far away north then. I have relocated to another state and she too is now undergraduate, studying nursing at uni zik Awka. I normally call her because I was in good term with her mother.. She feel in love with me. But my own fear is that I am not sure if she will understand the language of hardship. She was only Dauther and last born, the family is average comfortable. The only thing she always rely most is her beauty... She is so beautiful no wonder she just won a beauty queen competition, the sun newspaper even carry the news.. But her beauty is not what attracted me.. Last December I visited her parent with just one of my uncle and they welcomed us very well.. Another issue is that she still have abt 4 years to finish her education.. And I don't want to waste more than 2 years ahead.
Now let me talk abt IFEOMA. She is from Nsukka, very far from my local government. She is living with her sister here in the same state I am staying... She is 25 and years and Judith is 22 years. She is NCE holder.. Based on my findings so far she is good in business and came from a poor family too.. She is equally a virgin, I am very sure of it.. She not too beautiful but have showed her love to me... The problem is that I have no feelings for her.. But I love her hard working.. I am planning to invite Judith to spend some weeks with me to understand her characters.
Pls I don't know how to write more.. Which one should I marry? Warning: DO NOT MARRY ANY OF THEM 1 For Judith: Beauty fades with time. Don't be a simple!.... what happens to a person of clear future vision and mission? Homely and respectful? Dutiful and supportive? Clear Purpose of becoming a good wife? if you rush yourself, Naira scarcity suffering will be better than your woes. Beauty should be an added advantage, so that you can have beautiful children. This depends also in the condition that you too are NOT FUGLY. 2. So, you want to marry someone out of pity? Ifeoma is who you don't love. Release her, let her go. Don't waste her time. Let her finds good suitor somewhere else. 3. Pray to God to Order your steps. Marriage is not a child play. This one wey ur body dey do anyhow, just calm down. A word is enough.......... |

sreamsense: I will not talk ill of men of God in general, but the problem is that some of them put mouth in politics they don't understand by missing their human emotion into politics. When man of God already picks political side, it will be difficult to hear God clearly when he speaks otherwise. Men of God should be neutral in many cases if he/she wants to hear clearly from God. All the candidates have good minds to serve Nigeria in one way or the other. We only need to check their experiences, past governance record and other parameters before we vote for them Hmmmmn, think about this. Clerics are Men of God ( whether Muslim or Christian) 1. Men of God are human beings. Every outcome of any election affects them too, as human being, under a good or bad government. Every inflation, bad decisions of government, High cost of food, high cost of utilities bills, bad roads, bad environmental condition, high cost of hospital bills, high cost of education, and above all, INSECURITY,affect these men of God too. These men of God are Nigerians just like u and me. They are subjected to Government Decisions just like u and I. Whatever that affects their congregations affects them too indirectly. These men of God bear the brunts of WELFARE PROVISION, SUPPORT TO IDP CAMPS, SUPPORTS to Health Education and Relation matters in their community. They are closer to the poor than ur least politician. They are at the receiving end too. They pray for changes for better. Pls, allow them to express their mind. They have need too as they are meeting needs in their own way. So, they have right to say, discuss, intervene, encourage, declare what they want and what they do not want for a particular election. They can belong to any party of their choice. They can vote. The can be voted for too. First, they are citizens before wecal3d them Men of God. Finally, eligible voters ( e.g. men of God)have right to decide on who to vote and also campaign for anyone on who they should vote for. They can be voted for. |

Snakedoctor1: I remember a divorce case I handled some years ago.
The Respondent, the wife, blatantly refused to show up in court or engage a lawyer; and the judge wasn’t ready to proceed without her.
One day in court, the judge, again, refused to proceed with the matter without the woman. That we must meet with her and hold the statutory conference before she will hear the matter. I told the judge we have served her the petition and the hearing notice for today’s sitting and clearly she is not interested in defending the petition, so, we should proceed in the interest of justice.
The judge come vex for me o. That I should do more than that. I should get her number, call her and try to see her and hold a meeting with both of them and try to settle them. E come be like say na me wan scatter their marriage.
The judge asked the petitioner, my client, if he doesn’t want settlement, he said no. He was visibly angry, talking about how he just wants a divorce immediately and nothing else. That they are still living together and that he is just waiting for the divorce to leave the house or kick the woman out.
Judge says I should still meet with both of them. Everybody knows that this is the point you must shout “As the Court pleases” to avoid wahala.
After court I collected the Respondent’s phone number from my client and called her immediately. I requested to meet with her and invited her to come to my office. Madam said she is not coming anywhere, that if I want to meet with her, my client should bring me to their house.
I went back to the office after agreeing with my client that I will come over to his house after the close of work that same day.
I went to their house by 5pm. We sat down and starting talking about the issue. Then I got a bombshell.
She: Did your client tell you that he is serious about that divorce?
Me: Yes. We are in court already. He even told the judge so this morning in court. He is here now, he can tell you himself.
She: Serious about which divorce? Is it not that court he came back from this afternoon and came and collect one d@ggy?
I was totally flabbergasted. I didn’t expect that kind of raw bluntness from her. I turned to my client, he was silent and avoiding my eyes.
D@ggy? I carried my file quietly, entered my car and left.
Like d@ggy? After all that heat I faced in court, you even stood there, forming anger, then you came back and collect hot d@ggy in the afternoon?
What do you take lawyers for in this country? D@ggy? You couldn’t even do missionary in appreciation of the lashing that judge gave me because of your divorce case, you went and did d@ggy. D@ggy that use to sweet like wetin.

O nse gagaraga kiri... This means he is behaving unstable. Not really insane. But not quite settled .
If you say: " O nse Ara gaga-raga kiri. It is used to insult or throw jab at a slim person of skeleton structure walking around without clothe.
It means walking around with skeleton-like body without shame. Lagos: I am a son of the soil (Awori). My origin. My home. Egba: I am son of the soil from Palace. Had my Education here from childhood too. Which descent of Yoruba are you? I will agree with you if you calm down and say it is a slang. Gagaraga or garagaga does not exist in yoruba etymology or ever use in Yoruba folklore or in adjectival premonition of ideas in the word-joining in Yoruba parlance. Yoruba words sound sweeter than what you are insinuating. Local tongue could result to your 'gagaraga'. No yoruba person will understand you at first instance of calling that word., bro. Fact is different from insinuation. --- my last discuss on this matter, bro. |

Ga-ga-ra. If you tell somebody in yoruba. " O se apa gagara "
It means he is raising his shoulder. That implies been proud. I laugh in Dominion Powers. 1.My earthly progenitors are Yoruba Ponbele. (Awori ati EGBA ALAKE) 2. The word gagara could be mean many things based on the tone (phonemes) and aami ohun ti o ba wa lori gbolohun naa. Gagara (do do do) means very tall and huge. e.g Eran Agbonrin yen ni iwo gagara (That Deer has a very huge horn) Gagara (re re re) means being proud. e.g. Baba eleran nse apa gagara (That meat seller man is very proud) Garagara (do do, do do) means proud too. Or it means you are doing anyhow. It has same meaning as 'bashubashu' I still maintain it that your word "Gagaraga' does not Exist in Yoruba Morphology. 3. I am open to more learning bro. |

There is no word in real Yoruba Language that is "Gagaraga" But there is a word like 'Gagara' which describes ANIMALS ( gazelle, deer, cows and Ileya Ram) which evidently has big tall with or without branched horns. Gagara literally means very tall and mighty. Gagara could also be used to describe a mansion, tall buildings, Hills and Mountain.Gagaraga could be a new slang formed by the creator. YourBestWriter: So my friend got this job in management because he knew somebody in that company. But there is high expectations from the company for him to deliver positive results as one of the managers in that company.
This my friend is a university graduate with second class lower result and this manager position is for guys with first class results.
He has never been in management before. Infact, this friend of mine have been at home as an unemployed since 2014. He is socially awkward and easily discouraged. Now he's got this huge job with a big pay, and he is telling me that he feels like a fraud.
He asked for my advice, but I sincerely don't know what to advice him.
So I throw the topic to you guys.
How is he going to behave and probably grow some confidence to overcome this inferior complex? Tell that your friend or yourself that he needs to buckle up, be hardworking, focused and be proactive. Tell him to study patterns. Tell him to continue to ask a leading and curious questions about how to be a good manager from some good superior that are not competing for his success. Tell him to study different types of managerial styles and adopt one quickly ,then later change the style as he progresses on the job experience. Learn every tactics and tricks of that job. Read very widely on how to manage such job. He needs to be patient and learn faster on the job. There is time for everything, this is not a right to be discouraged. Class of degree does not interpret roles, people do! My 2 cent. |

oluwaseyi0: Currently feeling like a fraud in my 'former office'
So I left this organization like almost 2 years ago as a software developer but the management decide to retain me on part-time stuff because hiring a new developer will be more expensive ( I agree to slight pay cut) and new dev will take lots of time to understand the codebase since project is already completed just maintenance
In short I've been collecting salaries every ⁴month and doing next to nothing for them
Most time the only reminder that I'm still with them is bank alert
Earning million per year yet doing next to nothing
Talk of legal fraud 1. You are not a fraud based on your explanation. How? The management of that company agreed to retain you, and based on this foundation, you are being paid for that purpose. The management know what exactly they are doing, especially if the project done is highly expensive ab initio! 2. Don't feel bad, you had laboured to put the project in right perspective as demanded by the same organisation who believes in your ability and continuity. You are reaping what you had sown. Be grateful to God that works of your hands are speaking for/ profitable to/ counting for: you. What you should prepared for: When the project is having issues, then your experience should be used to solve the problem as fast as possible. This will increase your market value and your proficiency for the organisation to even pay you more. Be prepared to overcome challenges that may come in the future. Be ready, those challenges will come. It could be sporadic, simultaneous or one off thing. |

kaymandak: To me it all depends on good planning, industrious partner and God. 1. Children are good heritage from God 2. Industrious woman and a discipline and hard-working man seldom suffer poverty 3. Parenting is another topic entirely which is not easy and almost a lifetime institution, better to start when you have the energy and zeal 4. Family issue is not all about money, there are rich homes with vagabonds and broken relationship 5. Responsibility saves you from frivolity 6. These neighbors you think are poor and always begging from you sometimes have better plans, you will just hear them one day saying uncle we are moving to our fairly completed two bedroom flat, while you keep on changing electronic and paints of a rented apartment. 7. Time waits for nobody, before you close and open your eyes, this post will be ten years ago. 8. It is so beautiful to grow up with your kids, not only when you are a millionaire, even that time you will be too busy. 9. I don't have much, but it is soothing watching my favourite club Chelsea with my boy. 10. May God help us all Well done, may God continue to bless you and your son. The OP was just mixing issues together in her or his post. THESE REPONSES BELOW ARE FOR THE OP 1. To have a child is an achievement. This is so because it adds to your genealogy which started first through procreation. In Africa, having a child means leaving a path that could be traced to u when naming ur ancestors, tribe, village, and your origin. It is a form of secured identity of your next generation in line and in life. Also it is a form of relief at old age, even the Bible describe them as children who would stand at the gate and ask ur enemies questions. They are like arrows in the hand of a powerful man. 2. The numbers of children to have is another discussion entirely. This factor is affected by many issues such as fertility, financial stability, generational instance ( If u are the only child from your parents, ur own parents would love to have more grand kids), on health ground ( imagine a family who love to have 4 children and are well to do financially but was constrained by medical instances of cesarean sections or ectopic pregnancy), the country u are raising the family. 3. The points stated in Number 2 above could now bring us to all the issues u discussed in your original post. Nigeria Is a hell if u don't curtail the number of children u raise. This is even worse when people do not plan well before giving birth to the children. Child do not bring food from heaven. It is God who provides and nurtures both parent ad the children, BUT THE MAIN RESPONSIBITIES LIE ON THE PARENTS Caveat: if we reflect from where we are coming from, it will DO US GOOD IF WE CAN ALTER THINGS THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE FOR OUR PARENTS TO CHANGE, through our new informed Decisions, henceforth. If u are married and the house is NOT FULL ALREADY, it is not too late to make amendment. If u are not married, pls open ur eyes. |

I need help with my predicament. I just discovered a lounge where I normally hang out to watch sports and chill. Apparently the lounge also has a Spa that is managed by this beautiful married lady who is a mother of 3 children that are in University and one in final year of secondary school. I started crushing on this woman for some time now and I cant seem to take my mind of her. She is a tall, dark stallion with nice hips, ass and a very sweet voice.
We got talking the moment I went to her Spa to make some inquiries about her spa services and whether she runs home service as well. Along the line, she gave me her contact details and we have been chatting frequently. The thing is that I am madly in love with her but I don't know how to express my feelings and desires towards her.
I don't intend snatching her from her husband but I just want to have a romantic relationship with her but don't know how I will go about it.
I am a graduate in my mid 20s from Leed City University Ibadan with a degree in Engineering. I don't usually have issues in getting women but this has posed much of a challenge to me because I am deeply in love with a married woman.
Thoughts of her sometimes drives me to masturbation and it's driving me nuts. Please I need help on this matter. Tell your Mum first before you tell your sister in that order. This girl in question has a mission. Do NOT let her use you to complete that mission. If u do NOT TELL YOUR MUM NOW, you may not escape what this desperate girl would do' like someone admonished in page 1. 1. It is possible she had been 'testing waters'before coming to your house. 2. Her age is 22 and this is a peculiar age where many girls damaged their future due to ' foolish decisions' and due to hormone rage and youth exuberant. At this age, some ladies make irreversible mistakes that could taunt them for life. Pls, AWESONJNR, DO NOT BE PART OF THAT HORRIBLE TALES. 3. If you are reading this, do NOT waste time. Be bold to tell your mum today. 4. I really thank you and appreciate you for coming out to ask. Many people have lost it in life because they refused to ask 'sensible questions' like this. Also many people are in jail for false rape accusations because THEY REFUSED TO TALK IN TIME. 5. A stich in time saves nine. 6. You are right, in most cultures in Nigeria, IT IS A TABOO. But modernisation of world events makes people erode that part from their life, but cry so much when the irreversible consequences deal with them, later in life. 7. Your Mum would like to work out the modalities with you in which the said girl could be punished. She knows better. She can advice you to get a proof: video or, voice record. You can easily set this girl up by NOT you falling into the trap. Let her do the talking. Record everything. Then present the proof to your Mum, when she comes back. As men, who hates intimidation from female folks because of sex issues, we say: WISE UP!!! |
Education › Re: Why Beating On The Buttocks And Back Is Sexually Stimulating And Must Be Avoided by softy(m): 12:44pm On Oct 16, 2021 |
beauty7: Some people are angry over what I have written.
But this is true.
I have an experience where a man used to come to me and asked me to lie him down and beat his buttocks.
I would remove all his clothes, lay him down and used a flat rubber to beat him.
I initially thought it would be painful to him, so I did it reluctantly.
But he encouraged me to beat him.
But when I beat him,his penis would get bigger,as he rubbed his bottom and shouted. Sometimes I masturbated him and he released while under great arousal arising from the beating.
He said as he is lying down,he imagines himself lying down with other boys whose buttocks are to be beaten.
We were very close in those days and he told me everything.
He told me he loved it so much because right from childhood, his parents and teachers
beat him on the buttocks until he becomes addicted to being beaten on the buttocks.
It was because of him I started doing research and found out what I wrote above.
If under anonymity, someone cannot still speak his or her mind, then the person is very miserable.
That's why I am not afraid to share what I learned, afterall no one knows me
Good night. In your write up here, a man, NOT A CHILD came to you to practice BDSM. Then u begin to imagine for boys. THEN you turn your imagination to "But it is true" On this note, I would implore you to STOP PUTTING YOUR "IMAGINATION" ON THE GENERAL POPULACE AS A "FACT" That's how EVE ate the forbidden fruit through imaginations of things told by the SNAKE in HER HEAD. Let me clear you. For an Adult: beating could be pain or joy (BDSM) FOR A CHILD, it is strictly pain. Even for ages 2 - 16. We should NOT generalise a Seperate events on the whole field of events. It doesn't work like that! Summary: This is your conclusion. This is your opinion. WHAT YOU WROTE IN THE FIRST PAGE IS NOT TRUE. This is not about Argument, but it is about debunking your lies. |
