I've been using the 80,000mAh version of Wiremind Electronics solar generator (a kind of power station that can be recharged using solar energy) for a little less than two weeks. I bought the device on 21st of March, 2023.

This isn't my first time of purchasing a power station from Wiremind Electronics. I have the DC model of Wiremind Electronics 80kmAh power station which I purchased in November 2021, and which has been serving me really well.

I am a content writer and I spend a lot of time on my laptops. Recently, I bought a Samsung RV511 laptop but because there's no ready-to-use connector tip for this Samsung laptop, it's impossible to use my DC 80kmAh power station for the laptop. Meanwhile, a "connector tip" is a tiny device that you connect to the power cable that comes with whatever DC power station that you buy from Wiremind Electronics. There are connector tips for various laptops, but unfortunately, Wiremind Electronics doesn't have the connector tip for my Samsung RV511 laptop, probably because it is a very uncommon laptop.

Failure to get a ready-to-use connector tip for the Samsung laptop meant I wouldn't be able to use my DC 80kmAh power station to charge the laptop. But instead of going through the rather long process of getting Wiremind Electronics to build a connector tip from scratch, I decided to purchase an inexpensive option among the AC models of Wiremind Electronics power stations. So, I was decided on getting the 50kmAh version of the AC models.

I was glad about this decision because I was pretty sure that with the AC model of Wiremind Electronics power station, I wouldn't have to worry about a lack of connector tips for whatever laptops I'd be using; an AC model lets you charge any laptop directly, as you can plug the charger of your laptop to the AC port of the power station, thereby allowing current to pass through the charger of the laptop.

Hoping to buy the 50kmAh version of the AC models, I was glad not only because it would be possible for me to use the device to power any laptop, but also because I would use it to directly power my phones and a number of household appliances: mini TV, standing fan, decoder, etc.

However, I didn't eventually purchase the 50kmAh version of Wiremind Electronics AC power stations. I had changed my mind after rigorous thinking. Without any dubiety, the 80kmAh AC power station I purchased from Wiremind Electronics is worth every penny spent on it. And what I deem most gladdening is that I now have two 80kmAh power stations (DC and AC models) and I've got nothing to worry about even when there is a prolonged power outage.

And why would I suggest this AC power station to people?

Well, if your job requires spending a considerable number of hours on your laptop and you reside in a neighbourhood where power supply is unreliable, you probably need an alternative power supply such as a befitting option from Wiremind Electronics AC power stations. If you pick any of the AC models, you will be able to power just any laptop; there will be no need asking Wiremind Electronics whether there are connector tips for your MacBook and other laptops.

For me I am not a salary earner but I have learnt to adapt to the situation.

First for fuel, I cut that off completely at home by choosing to fix rechargeable bulbs in all my rooms including toilet and kitchen. I also went further to buy rechargeable fans in the house, and also a good power bank for my laptop and phone.

So when there is no light, I just switch on the bulbs and I can find my way around, at night I sleep with the fan and when phone is down I charge both laptop and phone with the power bank. By dawn I just plug the fans and power bank to light and go out. By the time I come back, they must have charged.

No need burning fuel and running gen. Infact that gen seems useless to me now, I might sell it.

For the cash part. I used to eat out before but now I had to go fill my gas, get a new gas cooker and a deep freezer. On Saturday I cook soup and stew, then Sunday I cook beans and another kind-of soup and just store in the freezer. When I come back I only have to defrost the portion I need and eat.

That has enabled me to cut down dependency on cash alot. I only need cash when I need to jump buses, else if I am driving, filling stations accept transfer or POS

Airtel is really milking you dry. I spend 10k per month for 80GB of data from MTN.

Just dial *121#. MTN gives me 80GB for 10k 40GB plus 40GB bonus. I use another sim card for it and only recharge it whenever I want to update my data.

If you look at the first picture I uploaded you'll see that as at 18 September my 40GB was still intact and would expire on the 11th of this month while my bonus data is the one I'm using which was 35GB.

The second pic which was taken now my 40GB is still intact but my bonus 40GB has dropped to 13GB.

So rather than spend 15k for 160GB on Airtel you can easily be spending 10k on 80GB on MTN and top it for a cheaper rate if you have to. Also if you keep up with that particular bundle MTN can give you a much better offer which would be much fair compared to what Airtel is currently giving you.
