Airtel has gone mad indeed. They have almost frustrated me in the last 2months on one of my lines. I only load on this line to use their 25naira nightplan and nothing more as I have an active line with them also, my main line. What seem to amaze me is that every time the balance on this line keeps reducing up to Zero balance when I am not even using the line. I have called them repeatedly yet pilfering will not stop. I must have lost over 500n on the line to these charges. Line wey no dey inside any device dey consume airtime except the periodic times in use it in the night Always activating one thing or another on the line. Mad people I will do them strong thing by borrowing #500 on my main line and leave it unpaid for months even years, afterall I will still enjoy the same call rate on my Mtn line. |

We are know Stella Oduah didn't resign wilfully but was sacked because of the political turmoil in Anambra between the Governor and Aso Rock. Politically such struggle usually take the Minister along. |
sexybaby22:Sexybaby, most federal schools are all the same with their admission racketeering. What is the proportion of those admitted on Merit in the class population? They have already designed a scheme such that the merit score is place very high to only accommodate about 15% of the class population. The rest of the class will be filled through patronage and racketeering. Vc lists dey comprise Politicians, traditional rulers, ministers, pro Chancellor etc, Faculty Dean dey get, Hod, senior lecturers, senior non-academic staffs and the list goes on. |

I deliberately won't quote anyone here, but for those saying more judges are coming for the seller, rightfully deserved. The onus of due diligence in a sales deal with respect to the conditions of the product lies more on the seller than the buyer. Products are sold 'as it is' that is, as described to the buyer. If after this, the buyer cries foul play then the buyer deserves all the stick. None of the fault is the buyers fault here, yet he is gentleman enough to assist in redeeming the product, take a cut in refund yet the refund is paid in piece meal until he opens a public dispute. Common lets be adults and apply some ethics. Any measures taken by the buyer to get his refund in this case is welcome henceforth and the sticks served the seller rightfully deserved. I will commend the seller for rightfully heeding to encourage peaceful resolution, repair relationships and his public image. |
henrixx:I believe strongly that both the picker and seller are guilty. They know exactly what they are doing, it a ring. The picker is the fall guy, so he kept mute. Eating their cake and still having it. Funny the buyer agreed to taking a cut in refund (40k+) yet he couldn't refund the agreed sum while doing more business. I wonder if the buyer would have a cut in the profit the seller is making from the business, yet he even said he is helping the buyer. Really |
PurestBoy:The buyer is such a gentleman, I understand he must have felt very vulnerable given the circumstances and very poor judicial system here. Both the seller and picker are completely dishonest. Thankfully he has chosen to redeem himself a bit. But certainly I won't be doing business with him this way. Very pathetic your customer has to cry out after months to get a partial refund which is no fault of his. Was there a caveat to the deal in the first place ![]() |
I think most notable sellers on Nairaland these days are having cashflow issues. It's a difficult one to call now but I will advice most buyers to stop preorder for now. I'm also having issues with one now and he has been selling on here for more than 7years with good review. I again find it surprising that Mikkyangel that has been mentioned repeatedly has not even thought it necessary to put up some sort of defense. It will be dangerous for anyone now to continue dealings with these guys. Probably running a ring now. Very disturbing |

antysocial:Good enough, it's a short stay. Keep at it for now be more concerned about getting a better all-round place for Service. For service year, if you are extremely lucky and highly skilled you sure will get a better place that should pay above 35k(some corper earn entry level pay with big coy) or a better offer from them too. Please, don't joke with certification courses even those in areas of management. Goodluck Bro |
antysocial:What's the industry and how big is the organisation? If you can, negotiate for a better pay package, but don't throw that job away when you haven't gotten another. If you do otherwise, it will look bad on your Resume. I have been down this lane before reasons why I'm concerned. How many months are you to wait before service?? |
nelsonebby:Looking at what the op said, he said he's okay with most things about the job. Probably the job allows him to grow within the organisation and also forge a career, only concern is the pay. That pay is a function of excess supply of labour over the demand for labour. He 'might' find it difficult to get another. I am not saying people don't get better offers than that, but he should hold firm to that now, add immense value to the firm, grow at the job, improve himself and keep an eye on the corridor for a better offer out there. Do you know how much Lagos state govt pay corpers serving in state agencies and ministry? 10k |
antysocial:If you don't mind what kind of job? Except for a tech job, 25k for a preNysc job is more like strucking gold; 80 percent of during Nysc jobs don't even pay that. Be informed before blowing your opportunity, persevere |
Scatterscatter:If I'm correct Ikeja Cantoment is the Sam Ethan Airforce Base(not sure though, it can be the one at Marland Ikeja) which is at PWD Ikeja on your way to Agege from Oshodi. If correct, take a bus from Berger going to Oshodi, drop at Oshodi (seek direction from traders if ure new to Oshodi) and go enter another bus going to Ikeja Along drop at PWD. |
Bashman02:Hey Bro, can you please explain to me what this call termination is. I have read a bit of it on the Internet is it some kind of similar to the DSTV cheat that worked on those Chinese setbox |

This country is a joke where government officials just throw figures around loosely... Í can imagine how much must have been sunk into this project by both BRF AND AA, yet quote me that project would only be delivered in the next 10years if there is a change of the party in power in Lagos. I know of a government building in an area where over 300million is spent on facility management while another building two times the government building in both size and capacity spent less than 50 million. The wasteful spending in government can never be overrated. |
Centrallock:I always advise people to appeal to what pleases their soul. Go find joy in Austria if that's where your soil will find peace. Come back home if the land doesn't give that peace. I wish you success and peace be with you. |
