You may still need bridging Visa to Australia. As you will do bridging course in order to get registered as a nurse in Australia, although this depends on the outcome of your AHPRA application. It is the cheapest route, but you need to be very careful. Armidale is not a happening city, but you you are eligible for AHPRA registration if you graduate from this Uni.
Silentthinker:
I must commend d good works done here, kudos to all. Please I'm in a state of dilemma and I need u all to come to my rescue.I'm a registered nurse with over 5 years experience and aspiring to migrate to Australia.I hv secured admission with UNE though I have not gotten the COE,now I stumbled on some migration agents that recruits nurses to Australia but u will pay the fee for AHPRA registration from your pocket and other expenses. My question now is should I follow the school route or go with the migration agents?
Note that I'm going for MSC in nursing practice and the total school fees is over 15m while the AHPRA registration and other expenses shd be around 4 to 5m.please if you know any nurse that has migrated to Australia or you are a nurse please tell me about their encounters and process.Lastly how is armidale where UNE is located, are there job prospects for student. Thanks all while awaiting your feedback.

[quote author=nurseafrica post=72798862]Why African struggle so much is because they usually refuse thanks for this information. I applied to Newcastle, to study MPH, although I was misguided by my agent. I am a nurse, intending to change my course after 6 months. please how is Newcastle and which school can you recommend for MN?

Dubyz:

I was told that with graduate entry nursing I will have 2years post study visa that will enable me to work. My husband won’t be joining fully rather he will be visiting us since he has a steady job here. Then my kids are still too small to be left behind. They are 3 and 2 years
Any two year course will make you eligible for post study visa. you can apply for nursing if you have experience in that field. you can go through the thread, for you to really understand me

Good morning all, please I’m new here. I want to study graduate nursing entry in Australia

Please I need your advice
Hello Dubyz. I will advise you to go for education, since you're already in that field. Nursing and education are two different professions. Visa grant is slim. Also, its better for you to apply first, then your hubby and kids can join you as subsequent entrants.

Please be patient. Going by your new COE, you still have about 3 months. I wouldn't advise you to contact your visa officer just yet.
Thanks. congratulations, Aussie land will favour you. Go and excel.

Hello fellow nairalanders. please I need your advise on medical test. Which hospital can you recommend for me to have my medicals done? My agent suggested the one on the Island, I've been calling the numbers given to me, all to no avail. please how is the one at Ikeja? Thanks.

Thanks @ Solitin40 and Ideamaster. I've already applied for student visa before I joined this thread. My agent didn't tell me this, I got to know about the PR and post study visa myself. When I asked him, he said I will apply for another course to make my study 2years. Please how easy can I get a student visa onshore and how is Newcastle? I read here that some places are not advisable for someone that need to hustle to pay bills. Thanks
Travel / Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by sollej: 9:51pm On Apr 28, 2018
good evening nairalanders. I'm new here. I am a nurse with 5 years experience. I've already applied to university of Newcastle to study MPH before I got to know of this forum. I've read a lot here concerning PR and SOL. The MPH is for a year. Can I apply for masters in nursing after my MPH for me to qualify for 2years post study visa. Also, what are the job opportunities that one can get in Newcastle. Thanks for your anticipated responses.
