Orlando Owoh: ACM10, the reason it appears these women are strong is because the President is weak. After all Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala who happens to be one of them was in OBJ's cabinet, but was made not to cross her boundary.shut up. Okonjo iweala was already a strong woman right from her days in the world bank. Even the american govt and media respected her and was afraid that she would not bend to their whims and caprices,which was why they gave the world bank position to a less deserving puppet. OBJ on the other hand was a total failure in govt. I don't see why any sane individual would use OBJ tenure as a benchmark for good governance. Most of the ministers in OBJ tenure were utterly useless, either due to OBJ domineering attitude or a complete lack of ideas. Okonjo iweala who negotiated Nigeria's debt relief from the paris club had to resign instead of being handicapped by a corrupt and ineffective govt. 5 Likes |

For a state as small in land area as lagos, with the biggest IGR and one of the biggest federal allocation,i wonder why it should take the incompetent state govt ages to provide the minimum standard of infrastructure. The only places in lagos benefiting from govt attention is ikoyi,ikeja and the island. The mainland which makes up to 2/3 of lagos is a complete mess. Cahmegga: May God be with 'em...and I stayed in Kano for some good years during the crisis...u guys shouldn't blame JTF pls..the weapons Boko Haram use are sophisticated...hearing the sound can make u pee in ur pants out of fear! Security personnels only show up at scenes of attack after like 30-40mins...who wan die?! In a country where u die and ur family are left to suffer....forget JTF! I can say this categorically, they alone can't stop boko haram! Na just God! Prayers alone can solve this....GEJ is clearly incapable of attacking the problem. He has "condemned" and "condemned" attacks and promised falsefully he would see an end to this problem...buh still, people die! With the politiKing pressure getting higher, its only natural for GEJ to aim towards retaining office in 2015.....that's top of his agenda at the moment...a trip to Israel?! Imagine that!!
