adexsimply:well,he won the trophies,though with a despicable self-righteous cuntt of a club. |
fabulousfortune: Undermining that. Just answer this simple question, who's d most successful team in London?when was the last time you won a trophy? You're in the same category with ajax. Scratch that, ajax has more history and they're the defending champion of the dutch league. Arsenal is in the same category with deportivo lacoruna and bayer leverkusen. |
Afam4eva: I will never forget an experience i had in 2009. I was on my way back from Ibadan, on getting to Sagamu area, we saw a driver who did a 180 turn and we wondered why anyone would make such a turn without notice. When he drove to where we were, we asked him what the problem was and he said in Yoruba(Awon chelsea fans ni) which translates to "it is chelsea fans". It was that day i knew that we had formula one drivers in Nigeria. See the way people were turning their cars to head back to where they were coming from. That experience thougt me a very big lesson and drew me closer to God. I pray that you guys will not experience chelsea fans the way i did. Fear this people.Stop behaving like an ignorant dolt. I'm sure you're proud of your club. Farcelona wrecking the spanish economy and the la-liga while the fans are mindless racists. |
fabulousfortune: Do u have records to prove ur claims because d last time i checked d most successful team in London is ArsenalHistory, history and more history. Liverpool and arsenal are in the same boat, always trying to bore us with their history. Well, chelsea is the only london club to win a european trophy(Uefa cup) and that was before roman abramovich. Ajax and feyenoord are the one of the greatest european teams ever, yet they're nothing today. |
sparkle Red: Sweet gala and solomon stop derailingSorry for the derailing. I'm out. |
I believe sir alex wanted Okocha back in his hay days of psg but was concerned about his age and injuries.. etc
Yeah right. And there've not been any african players good enough apart from okocha and mikel. |
Pogba would get his chance, please and please giggs is not mediocre. He actually happens to be mixed race, do you know that? He was bullied as a child because he is mixed and campaigns on behalf of united for the "kick racism out" program
Pogba has already left united to get his chance at juventus. He's now one of the best DM prospects in Europe. Giggs has become a very mediocre player. He's no longer the player he was. Btw,i am talking of african players and you're telling me giggs is mixed. A mixed guy that completely look and acts like a white person. |
Andyblaze: Eto and Yaya have never been subject to Racism by any English club...infact it is only those gay Russian supporters that have ever made any racist gestures to both players. Man Utd is a tactful club when it comes to transfers, they do not rush for any player no matter how impressive he has been and i don't think you can mention any African player who has been hyper-impressive in the last 3 years that would have deserved a call from Man Utd.Eto and yaya toure were subjected to racism in spain by fans of madrid and barcelona. Secondly, you're telling me that no african player is better than those useless united players like cleverly, giggs, evans, nani, buttner and co?. I've nothing else to say. |
Andyblaze: There are black players who have played and are still playing for these clubs.Black players playing for those are usually subjected to racism especially blacks from africa. You can ask samuel eto'o,yaya toure and co. Anyway, racism was not the only point i raised. As for Manunited, they bought djemba djemba long ago. Are you telling me there's no african players good enough to play in their current team apart from mikel? Look at the transfer policy of united, when last have you seen them targeting an african player. Even pogba the black italian was never even given a chance in a team of mediocres like cleverly, giggs and co. |
odua boy: Can you back this up with factsyes chelsea fans have the right to boast because they are a quality team and they win trophies regularly. A team that should never be caught bragging is arsenal. |
Na wa o. See as people dey hate on chelsea. And the irony is that chelsea has done more for black players than most of these clubs. I don't see why any Nigerian should support racist-infested spanish based clubs like real madrid and barcelona and the fact that those two clubs are virtually wrecking the spanish economy with their humongous debts. Even MANUnited has not bought any african player since time immemorial. |
BetaThings: I don't like India but we have to face realityIt dosen't mean shitt when you have over 700million people under extreme poverty.. Nigeria also has a space programme probably the best in africa. |
Chai. Nigerians are everywhere in their thousands. India has a population of over a billion with more than half of them suffering extreme poverty with institutional and cultural racism. What the hell are Nigerians looking for there? |
abu12: Did you condemn stella oduah?Nonsense. Your governor is one of your closest government that has a direct impart on your well-being. The aviation minister is far away, and is virtually a minister for the rich,as only the well-to-do can afford to use air transportion in Nigeria. If you think any SANE southerner will support this blatant display of corruption by their governor, then you must be mistaken. |
Abagworo: What makes you think he's not linked to the Preidency and a faction of Boko Haram loyal to PDP. All these people are part of Nigeria's problem. It is not a North or South thing.I don't care if he's linked to the president or not. The Northerners should be as passionate and vociferous when attacking and exposing their numerous corrupt governors as they are when attacking the president for their selfish interests. |
And yet the Northerners are not holding him to ransom. They are all after the presidency. The almajiris should be lynching their governors for wickedly improverishing them. |

Obrafour: Do you have the capacity to admit all the qualified students? Why must Nigeria's problem be a shared problem with Ghana? There are. nigerian students studying all over the world, why pick 0n Ghana? You jumped countries like Togo & Benin who are years behind Ghana and have many nigerian students studying there as well, but n0, its Ghana you mist denigrate.I agree with you. Picking on ghana alone is not wise. I guess it's because of the rancour between Nigerians and ghanaians on nairaland. And yes,Nigerian unis cannot take everybody. |
carr101: I wasn't allowed calculators toojamb gives calculators nowadays. During my time no calculator o. They expect you to solve mathematics the hard way in the shortest possible time. #sadisticbastards. |
carr101: Jamb? Strict? I don't knw bout u but during my jamb exam, people that "paid cash" were allowed to cheat freely with officials turning a blind eye!I find that hard to believe. Even if it happened, jamb will still deal with you by withholding your result, just like they dealt with those that foolishly cheated this year. |
opylas: You are a complete learner! So your rebuttal to my post is that "i am a complete learner". I can see how good your foreign education is. |
Obrafour: Do Nigerian Colleges have the capacity to admit all those who pass Jamb? How come some Nigerian government officials have their wards in Ghanaian educational institutions if the standard is poor? Is it not a fact that Jamb was introduced so as to limit the number of qualified WAEC students seeking admission due to limited vacancies? The main selling point of ghanian unis is the relative stability compared to Nigerian unis. Most of the Nigerian political elite send their children to british and american unis for better quality education if they're not schooling in Nigeria. |
phtemie: Thank God someone is reasoning as I do.Jamb is probably one of the most strictest exams you will ever take in your life though i can't vouch for post jamb. Why not go tell the US to scrap the SAT since you think exams are not a true test of academic intelligence. |
phtemie: Thank God someone is reasoning as I do. |
I studied Engineering at Unilag. More than half of my lecturers did not have Phds.
|
I studied Engineering at Unilag. More than half of my lecturers did not have Phds.
It depends. I also studied Engineering at UNIBEN there are some courses you won't be allowed to teach if you do not have a PHD or atleast currently undertaking a PHD programme. |
Well you have a point. I wonder why Nigerians apply enmass in most of these mushroom universities in west-africa and even eastern europe, especially when many of these unis can't match the ones in Nigeria in quality of staff, quality of education and product. The only advantage these unis have over Nigerian unis is the relative stability which is negligible as far as am concerned. The only reason i would leave Nigeria for university education is if i had an opportunity to study in western europe, china,or america. |
odua boy: Why must you bring sentiments and bias into everything, you are a very irritating human beingSentiments? You're the one bringing sentiments into issues. Psquare commands more crowd in their concerts throughout africa than dbanj and wizkid combined. I challenge you or anybody else to prove me wrong. |
Psquare are the most entertaining Nigerian artiste for now. They have more fans in africa than dbanj and wizkid combined. |
shymexx: Shola Ameobi is Newcastle's all time 2nd highest goal scorers in Europe behind Alan Shearer. Go look at those who have played for Newcastle and tell me that isn't an achievement. So that cancels out the one-season wonder Heskey achieved. That said, Ameobi has never played a full season for Newcastle - his career has been hindered by all kinds of injuries.I don't know of any record of Nigeria snubbing ameobi at any point in time. Even if we did, Nigeria won't be the first nation to temporarily turn down an inexperienced and underdeveloped player a senior national team cap. Btw,is he better than victor moses, osaze odemwingie and co who grew up in foreign countries and opted for Nigeria immediately? Calling up ameobi is a disrespect to these patriotic players. Ameobi has wasted his youthful days waiting in vain for the English national team. You don't expect Nigerians to accept an old, washed-out former 3 lions hopeful when there are better and more patriotric players waiting for call-up. |
