Kairoseki77: They should hire programmers and hack givernment websites.I agree with this. We need to start waging cyber-attacks on corrupt state govts, federal govt parastatals and agencies and even corrupt big-wigs in the private sector and expose their corruption. |

striktlymi: Nigeria of course!I don't think so. There are countries like UAE,saudiarabia that are far more significant players in the oil market than Nigeria and yet they are almost incouspicous at the UN. Chalking Nigeria's influence to just oil and gas is simplistic and almost erroneous. |
What nonsense is this? Why must morøns like you keep belittling Nigeria by comparing her to smaller countries like ghana everytime? Why not southafrica or Egypt? Have you ever seen the ghanian president address the UN assembly? |
The oil-producing communities are being treated like animals. The FG should make ammends. |
egift: Jonathan is a Zoologist and a Fish farmer, what do you expect?come, why are you so obsessed with GEJ's profession? |
wesley80: ^ And your point is?The agricultural transformation is flowing to the states. |
The question is why Ghana? Why not Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Togo, South Africa etc. Ghana did not ask them to move there so i dnt get why you guys are always attacking Ghana. Fyi we are not crying for your airlines to come to Ghana but it's the other way around. Anyways like someone said, it's probably a bluff, as they will lose a lot of Customers and profits if they move to Ghana(there are many airlines in Ghana so what makes them think people will use them and a lot of Ghanaians don't go to Nigeria so it will be a mistake on their part)
Ghana was mentioned because they have the most significant portion of Nigerians and Nigerian businesses in west africa. |
ba7man: Ghana never made back hand moves to invite the Airlines, they choose to go there if their tarrifs are futher hiked.Get out of here and stop politicizing everything. You think GEJ will remain in power forever? |
tnktosin: Finally someone is making senseyeah you are right, they won't leave. They are Nigerian companies afterall. The extra-cost would be passed on to the consumers. |
ghboy: interesting to read that fellas are predicting "doom" for the airliners in Ghana based on population. Yes! population (if directly related to patronage) is key but have you taken into consideration the new tariffs that affect their cost of services? patronage in Ghana may not be as high as Nigeria but cost of services is definitely low going by tariffs charged.Nobody is bad-mouthing you. It would have been the same if they said togo, coted'ivoire or any other country in west african country. Ghana only has 2 or 3 airport compared to Nigeria's 26 and counting. And the airport infrastructure in ghana is pretty shitt as well. The customer base in ghana is not as promising as Nigeria and the ghanian economy is not as buoyant. The high-cost of aviation fuel in ghana is also a factor. So all in all,it would be economic suicide for them to move to ghana and they know it. They would be replaced quickly by other Nigerian airlines. |
Like i said before,if they don't want to pay taxes for the maintainence of airport infrastructure, then they can leave, though i doubt that they want to leave. Other airlines will take their place in a heart-beat. |
honeric01: Dustbin mouth, can we see GEJ educational CV?GEJ educational CV? Are you kidding me? You don't even have the public awareness to know the educational depth of your president, yet you think you are smart enough to debate politics? A morøn,that's what ya are. |
honeric01: I'm too refined for an unrefined crude bunkering people like you.why not show it here and let us see,you knobhead. Imagine an idiott like you comparing a renowned academic to that stark illiterate. You are a morøn. |
mayo47: Its peeps like u dat wud Neva allow 9ija move forward when you always shy away from the truth. U don't know how Nigeria police be like or maybe u don comot for years. Bros naija is in a huge mess.you don't get my point. Yes,police in Nigeria and Africa is very corrupt, but these british people are not providing evidence for their assertion. They just assume that since Nigeria is facing terrorism issues and the police is corrupt, then the white widow was in Nigeria and evaded security. |
abokinside: Here we go again, you guys are goin on a suicide mission . After now you start blaming yorubas for not jioning you in your suicidal war, wake up guys you are too small to defeat the federal republic of Nigeria. Just toooo small.you must be stupidd if you think a 2nd civil war in Nigeria will be similiar to that of 1967. In the meantime,go and tell israel that they are too small to kick as$. |
Kingmojo: Are you for real or talking out your azz as usual. Ghana is about to be aviation hub for west Africa. This is akin to grandiose delusion. You don't have the economy or the air-line customer population to achieve that. Those airline operators are bluffing. If they wanted to move, they would have gone without saying anything. They know where their bread is buttered. |
IYA NGBALI: how can you be so cruel?how much are they paying you for saying this?thank God you are not GodThey've said worse to GEJ. I even remembered one of you APC goons praying that GEJ dies in an air-crash. |
honeric01: Hehe, the truth is so bitter, you can even choke on it..shut up you morøn. There's no credible record of buhari finishing secondary school.!! Your buhari cannot hold a candle to GEJ in any facet of life except fanaticism. Even his public speeches are a heavy dose of poor english laced with unsophisticated and unrefined hausa-fulani accent. Patience jonathan is shakespeare compared to that old fanatic, which is pretty ironic. |
honeric01: But Buhari is more exposed and educated than GEJ, true or false?yeah. In your dreams. |
donroxy: If Jonathan should hit them and dem Hit back, Ijaw-Nation may dissapear from the map of Nigeria!!!In the eventuality of war with the ijaws, you think those knife-wielding,IED-using hausa fulani horde can defeat an oil-funded ijaw army properly armed with modern missiles and fighters.? You think war is about numbers? The israelis are a case-study. |
abokinside: Asari is a clown holding on to the final straw, as soon as a proper govt is sworn in come 2015 he is goin back to where criminals like him belong, where he spent his time when gen obasanjo was in power. Ijaw is tooooooooo small to hit a Nigeria, Gej dont lead ur people to a suicidal war! 2015 is not by force if! Nigerians and only Nigerians will decide okay! The Gambaris of North West and north east, the amala and ewedu mouthed yorubas that asari and Edwin Clark ve been abusing up and down will decide come 2015. If Asari and his sponsors are not clowns the would know that the 14.8m registered voters of SE and SS can never return Gej to Aso rock. Of course there is no way a child will eat oil without staining himself.we will see. No need getting ahead of ourselves. 2015 is still far. |
Tayeni: why not? I no know which season dem dey for obodo oyinbo this time of d year.....if cold come dey nko? Make he no wear socks? As long as their in no Nike or adidas logo on those socks, its fine by me. You think you knw fashion?Nonsense! If GEJ had dressed like that, goons like you would have lambasted him. Buhari is an illiterate. #dealwithit. |
Tinubu the corruption lord. I am eagerly waiting the day this scumbag will pay for looting his state mercilessly. Ibori is a learner compared to this guy. |
What happened to LASUTH? Is LASUTH not "progressive" enough to cater for his medical needs? |
Guseh: This is getn too much na.... im office no get value again.A bad precendence has been set. GEJ does not lose anything, the office of the president is the unfortunate casaulty. Whoever becomes Nigeria's president after GEJ will be completly rubbished and humiliated that it will make GEJ's own look like child-play. |
These annoying brits and their self-righteous attitude. This report is nonsense and full of unrealistic assumptions. So the so-called white widow must have been in Nigeria and escaped because our police collects bribe? Idiots. |
ba7man: Seen. Electricity hasn't improved where i am for now. We used to make jokes that we share our line with New-york but its bad now.India, taiwan, singapore are very corrupt countries that developed in the midst of corruption. I am not insinuating that GEJ is corrupt nor do i support corruption, |
Godogwu: refer to my last post, I gave an "ok" explanation...I think. The APC goon does not realize that Nigeria having the highest FDI in Africa in the past 2 years is not a coincidence. |
4 Play: That Nigeria's economy is growing is undeniable but the growth is inspite of, not because of, the current administration. Growth shows up in many of the stats tracking consumer demand: whether internet usage, household goods, import volume, cement usage, fuel consumption, e.t.c.I won't say the growth in Nigeria is independent of the govt, but yes,we should be growing in double-digits to have large scale economic emancipation. Nigeria is too big for a single-digit growth. |
