I hv a sista who suddenly falls in love with a guy she met recently and the guy was her choice of a man. The met months ago and my sister is crazy in love wt hm and the guy loves her too.
The guy is making plans to come for the introduction and other stuff that wl follow bt there is a problem,and the problem is that the guy is a strict vegetarian. I asked my sister if shes suspecting any cult behaviour from him or bn too religious and she said no bt said that their family including hs siblings were all vegetarians. My sista is nt a vegetarian and she likes meat that she cnt afford to deprive herself of that all d years of her life bt d difficult part of it is that d guy agreed that she cn be cooking meat seperately and be keeping it on the refrigerator for her own use and never to cook other meals wt d same pot. She said that d guy used to buy meat for her weneva they went for outing and he is too caring and a perfect gentleman.
pls cn this be a problem later for them or cn both be able to maintain it. Ur suggestions are highly welcome.tnks

So BlackBerry maker RIM is suffering terribly......out of date technology, falling market share behind Samsung, HTC, Apple in terms of market share (only 5% market share now in USA, falling fast) innovation etc. how come people in Nigerianand Africa still seem to love it though? Is it becaue the pinging makes it easy to stay n touch?

Personally, I still maintain an old BB which I received six months unlimited data on :-), I use it to ping peeps in naija and other places. but my iPhone 4s seems to do ten times as much - I went to a conference last month and it did EVERY business task I needed thru various apps, and also my Samsung which runs android was VERY cheap (cheaper than a Bb) and the operating system was amazing.

Apart frm the low cost of the handset and pinging, why do Nigerians still perceive the BB as a "prestigious" handset?

All you need is a series of events which on their own will not result in major problems but when combined will result in devastating consequences. Although very rare, dual engine failure can happen if the jet runs out of fuel, the pipes are blocked or the fuel pump is faulty. However, as Jakumo said, the plane can continue to fly (or glide) albeit at slower speed and lower altitude, depending on the glide ratio e.g for every mile of altitude, it can glide x amount of miles/km. The only thing a plane needs to fly is airspeed but without engines, speed is usually maintained at lower altitude so in this case, the plane will have descended to maintain speed and also to line up with the runway. The plane's glide ratio probably fell short of the runway and it's uunfortunate that there were tall buildings in the area because otherwise, the plane could have landed on a flat piece of land, probably the worst result is that the tires will snap, the plane skids and passangers are thrown around and will be badly bruised.

u made a good point here and i think airports shuld nt be close to residential area in case of such a problem. If there was no buildings or trees around that area d casualty wld hv bn minimal.
