Yesterday they drew 1-1 with 3SC @ Ibadan in a friendly. 3SC scored first in the 2nd half and they equalized via penalty. Not sure this team is ready to face Tanzania. Hope we are not disgraced this weekend. Even the foreign based are unknown and play in lower leagues or 2nd/3rd divisions. Why were the Ladan Bosso u20 boys not selected for this game? Only Nathaniel Nwosu is u20 GK, John Amah was once an u17 GK two or three years ago. Success Makanjuola played last year for the u20s.

U-17 WWCQF 2022

USA v Nigeria
Colombia v Tanzania
Germany v Brazil
Japan v Spain

If we could just beat USA & Tanzania beats Colombia, then that will be great because we could meet Tanzania in the semis. Good luck to the African representatives.

And this is a Spain team without 15 top players? Making USA look pretty out of sorts.

It’s not surprising that Spain is out possessing, it’s deeply woven in the methodology that’s instructed from the grassroots level to the senior team. So for players to step in after not playing together and playing the same style is something to be said.
Coach Bankole Olowookere was busy running his mouth before the game instead of planning. The German coach clearly studied us in the 2nd half and capitalized on Usani's weak defense. When the captain (Dan Zossu) got injured it also affected the team. That No 10 (Afolabi) is too short that she was overpowered by the taller Germans in midfield. The goals we conceded were too cheap.

We should try to win our next two games. Already Chile tops the group by 3pts followed by Germany (3pts), Nigeria (0pt), New Zealand (0pt).

But you know that Lampard told Tammy that he was only good for the championship and that made him cry at Chelsea

I don’t think anybody should blame Coach Waldrum if the team loses this time. It won't be his fault entirely.

we have a match less than 24 hours players are still arriving, while the Nadashiko are already complete strategising.. Tony Payne, Asisat Oshoala plays in Spain too what’s the reasons for the delay? VISA or ticket or what?

Okobi and her Bestie Halima …. HMMMMM

Yewande, Otu are based in France, same Nnadozie arrived camp 24hrs ago….

By the way all league games for the Weekend Finished 2nd of October mostly in the afternoon because most of their games where played early 11am upwards … So 3rd and 4th isn’t enough to travel?
Lackadaisical attitude is what I describe this. Why were Imuran, Ebi, Rita not called up? What is also paining me is that Patricia George has been left out of the national team. When will Waldrum invite her then?
