onatisi: my guy so every time a nigerian commits a crime abroad, the nigerian govt should step in and have the guy sent home abi?what type of message do u think that will send to the international community about nigeria?and maybe u didnt read the news very these set of nigerians from gunea are those that commited immigration offenses not criminal ones like the guy in Malaysia that was dealing in drugs ,are u aware of the fact that a british woman has been sentenced to death in either Malaysia or Singapore ,why hasn't she been sent home ?the point is we Nigerians must learn to respect the laws of any country we visit .
if the offense is criminal like rape ,murder or drug peddling well that nigerian is on his own

Sincere 9gerian: Maybe you'r the one "counting chicken". Check my previous posts, even before SOE, you'll see the glaring consistency and even more detailed catalogue of achievements of the govt.
I surely see your previous posts but the only thing is that I never see them in real life. The achievements seem to only occur in your mind.

I have asked you to give me pictures but you will keep posting rurbish. My likes dont just believe potentially duibious xters like you we investigate and deduce.

The Fashola you are trying to smear can daze you with pictures of achievements that will paralyze you ditto the Akwa-Ibom and River's Govt. But with like 60% of the cake going to your Oga at the top you should be able to back all your achievement stories with verifiable pictures.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Secures Release Of Prisoners In Equatorial-Guinea by solopumpy227: 5:33pm On May 17, 2013
Please stop celebrating fake achievement here abeg.

I rememeber Britain was BEGGING to build a prison in Nigeria to downlaod all Nigerian prisoners in UK. I think this step was vehementlly quashed by very powerful international human right organisations.

The Guinea Govt have just been reliefed of some undue burdens. Arent they going to deport the prisoners back to Nigeria after there terms before?

Why didnt the President use his power to safe the Nigerian guy sentenced to death in Malaysia. What about the two Nigerian girls that have been hiding under a Church cellar for months?
PoliticsRe: Fashola's War On The Poor by solopumpy227: 5:22pm On May 17, 2013

Sorry Oga but if you asked me I will say you are being miscievious Sir. I am not a Fashola fan but I believe in term of quality decision-making, sense of acumen and service delivery he is still Million years better than your Boss wink.
PoliticsRe: Looks Like Jonathan's Approval Ratings Has Hit The Roof? by solopumpy227: 5:18pm On May 17, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: The approval rating of the president has always been high amongst REAL PEOPLE on ground. The REAL PEOPLE on ground include:

- those who use the revived rail transport system
- those who travel along the improving federal roads
- the winners of the first and second editions of YOUWIN
- the beneficiaries of the Graduate Internship scheme
- the 5,000 people per state who are beneficiaries of the SURE-P women and youth empowerment scheme
- the pregnant women who are beneficiaries of the SURE-P maternal health intervention programme
- the non-academic and academic staff in the BRAND NEW 9 federal universities
- the farmers that are now receiving subsidized fertilizers and improved seeds
- the pioneer students of the 9 new federal universities
- those who travel by air and use the Airports frequently
- those who voted for the FIRST TIME in their life and saw their vote count
- etc, etc
Hahh I saw this coming but please send my advice to the Aso Rock. We should concentrate on subjugating these militants (with minimal collateral damages) first before you resume campaigns. The least the FG needs now is distraction.

We have only seen the beginning of the military expedition and its too early to start counting your chicken.
PoliticsRe: Fashola's War On The Poor by solopumpy227:
Sincere 9gerian: I just read a report titled "Lagos Jails 120 Beggars, Deport 1,708 Others To Their States"
https://www.nairaland.com/1293409/lagos-jails-120-beggars-deport

I was saddened and moved to tears after reading that report. Many questions arise from such obnoxious and anti-poor policy. Are those 1,708 destitutes not Nigerians? Is Lagos no longer a part of Nigeria? Is Lagos only meant for a certain class of Nigerians? Which law empowers the Lagos state govt to deport a Nigerian from a part of Nigeria? What happened to the 1999 constitution as amended, which states that the PRIMARY purpose of govt is the security and WELFARE of the people? Does "the people" as used in the constitution exempt the destitutes and beggars?

Also very unfortunate is the fact that some Nlanders support such inhumane, obnoxious and wicked policy.

From all indications, it is a case of double jeopardy for the poor in Lagos. The govt churns out policies that impoverishes the people and when the people becomes poor, they'r bundled off to jail or deported.

Why is the Lagos state shying away from its constitutional responsibilities? Why cant these beggars and destitutes be rehabilitated and empowered to rise above poverty level? Even the few criminal elements amongst them can still be prosecuted like other normal citizens. Why cant the govt churn out policies that'll empower more and more Nigerians living in Lagos, thereby reducing the number of destitutes and beggars on the streets? If the govt cannot rehabilitate these people, they should atleast not compound their situation by unnecessary harassment and deportation.

Every sensible Nigerian should condemn this Fashola's war on the poor.
Insecere9gerian how work now? Its like your stocks are bullish this moment. So let use this opportunity to smear any other potential opposition Candidate that may still command reasonable followership.

slimghost: Senseless post from a clown. Whats your point kid?
I am sorry Sir. But the last time I checked, recruitment into the Nigerian Armed Forces is by quota system and there are 19 States in the North Sir.

I am also worried that there are reports that in several cases in Bornu BH usually get to know of Nigerian Army's plans before they are executed.

The most difficult war is fighting your "own" (an enemy within). For your reference you can pick any book on Nigerian coups and you will understand many possible outcomes of this expedition.

slimghost: Imbeciles!!!! The end of the wicked is near. Hausa/Fulani, you cant enslave us anymore.
You guys are kids. Showing hatred towards Hausa/Fulani for their many "sins" is not helping President Jonathan and his FG.

You guys talking bravely and fighting the war with your key-boards in the comfort of your rooms. I can assure you the Main Man has, probably, not slept for two hours in the last two days. War is not a tea party and when you are left with the option of turning guns against your own people then you there will be weaknesses in your strength.

Bgino: thank God the northern stronghold and dominance on PTDF has finally been broken..one by one GEJ will clip their wings..
I have seen many posts like this in the last couple of days and they worry me. I was not born when the last civil war was fought but I have read many books on the war.

Your comments and many others are similitude of the ones I have read about the Civil war. Celebrating and circulating hatred among people can snowball into ANYTHING- I MEAN ANYTHING.

What happens when the President's term expires and its the Northerner's turn?
PoliticsRe: New Heads Appointed For National Sports Commission, BPE, PTDF by solopumpy227: 6:57pm On May 16, 2013
Just when you think he is getting the message he would just redissapoint you. SW people need genuine efforts at development, honest approach to solving problems and clear steps in the right direction.

Most SWesterners are in support of SoE because they just want an end to the carnage and Bro. Joe this is the first seemingly reasonable step this FG is taking in resolving this crisis. Remain focussed, reasonable and astute you will get back what you have lost among them THEY DO NOT CRITIZISE THE FG GOVT. BECAUSE THEY HATE YOU. IN FACT THEY ARE YOUR TRUE FRIENDS.

I once declared, at the beginning of a Semester, I was going to get a GP of 5.0/5.0. Please dont ask me what I got at the end of the day wink

The FG Govt has taken, hopefully, a well-thought-through decision but there are many questions begging answers. This decision can only achieve meaningful results if it is a genuine effort at bringing peace to the affected States and not used as a political tool with 2015 in view.

Can a SoE function effectivelly with elected leaders still on their seat and running their own things?
Were the affected States' Leaders briefed they would be sharing their command with the Military Appointees now.
What will be the governing structures in the affected States be with this new arrangement?
On a scale of crisis barometer how did Adamawa make the list and kano did not? Could this be a get-back-at the "sturborn" Governor?
Why are some people celebrating as if this is a license for the Army to "wipe out their enemies"?
Why are people not thinking of bringing these criminals to commensurate justice?

Today is first day of the rest of this FG live and this Govt will be remembered for so many things by different people that make of this Union.
The end they say always justifies the means and the unfolding events in the next months will show how successful this SoE has been in returning peace to our fatherland.

For now I watch closelly and see how things turn out.
Christianity EtcRe: Will Lagos Ever Have A Christian Governor? by solopumpy227: 10:17pm On May 12, 2013
BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO!

The majority of comments here have shown there is hope for a great Nigeria where leaders will not be chosen by what they look like, where they come from or what they worship.

IN SIMPLE ENGLISH WE NEED LEADERS THAT WILL BE FAIR TO ALL INCLUDING ATHEISTS AND PAGANS
LEADERS THAT WILL GIVE US POWER SUPPLY ALL DAY, ALL THROUGH THE YEAR
LEADERS THAT WILL DRASTICALLY REDUCE CORRUPTION IN THE SYSTEM AND OTHER SOCIAL VICES
WE NEED LEADERS THAT WILL PROTECT OUR LIVES AND PROPERTIES

WE DONT CARE WHERE OUR LEADERS WORSHIP AS LONG AS THEY DELIVER THE GOODS

Keep trying hard. People are not as dull as you lots. We criticize the President/ FG most times because they control the Police Force, the Army SSS, Fire Brigade name it. We also believe these security outfits have not been properly equipped, trained and put to optimum use for the benefit of the poor masses.

No reasonable person will blame Mr President when militants kill or destroy but might blame him if he did nothing, his methods failed to stop the killings or he simply continued priortizing looting and trivialities.

But this expose does not any anyway put culpability on the State Governor so why are some people trying hard to blaim the Governor/ Fulani for this particular incident.

PoliticsRe: 2015: Merger Parties Pick Buhari by solopumpy227:
Billyonaire: Buhari overthrew a democratically elected Government of Shagari

Buhari promised Tears and Blood and delivered on that promise

Buhari was nominated by Boko Haram as their spokes person

Buhari speaks more Hausa than English to prove his ethnic and regional alliances

Buhari is not innovative and knows nothing about 21st Century Governance

Buhari is Militarily Backgrounded, we do NOT need an ex-military anymore, their arrogance is astronomical.

Buhari at Mid 70s should reconcile with his Gods and think about Life after Dead instead of meddling with Politics. Nigeria's Future is for the young generation, a generation that Buhari is NOT part of, so he should allow the younger generations to decide their future. Buhari can not survive another 8yrs in the Presidency cos of the attendant stress of office, so I ask Buhari nicely, to retire and shed no more tears, no one actually wanna see a man in his 70s shedding tears cos of losing an election.

The fact, that the Merger Opposition can NOT provide an alternative to GEJ's PDP therefore speaks loudly of A LARGER SYSTEM FAILURE within the merger group. I therefore, admonish every intelligent Nigerian to shun a merger whose hierarchy are incapable of producing a VIABLE candidate amongst 170 million abled Nigerians.

Its a fat Shame.

*PANIC MODE ACTIVATED BY PDP, GEJ AND ALL LAPDOGS*
Buhari's name never dissapoints. It sends out fear down the spines of looters, killers, and rogues.

Mr Billionaeir why are you showing so much care for the APC, we all know they are opponents of your party PDP. Could it be you are that patriotic?

If there is any name that make these people loose sleep and appetite, the name remains Buhari.
The oppositions should realise many of us looking up to them for possible better option dont trust TINUBU but understand, perfectly, what Buhari has, consistently, stood for.

However, Buhari emergence MUST BE DEMOCRATIC. Like Buhari has said everyone who believes they have something to offer MUST BE ALLOWED to test their popularity agaisnt GMB.

GMB has his strength and weaknesses. We all already know his strong points but the weaknesses MUST BE TACKLED AS A MATTER OF PRIORITY.

* APC needs to start compilling photo, video and print evidences of GMB stands on national issues since 1999.
* There is need for a special task-force (GMB EXPLAINS) comprising of very intelligent and honest individuals to work on GMB image in the SS and SE. The common people in these regions (at the grassroot) need to be spoken to by GMB. I will recommend that this should be a town-hall setting where the General will entertain all questions, any questions especially on all the MISREPRESENTATIONS that have been done to his name by successive PDP Govts. GMB can start the visits to the zones now - the North and the Southwest are already in the basket. Several visits to the zones will change the perception of many reasoanble people from this zones

I for one will vote GMB or any other Presidential candidate endorsed by him.

sakaguchi: The CHANGE I deserve would never be piloted by a man over 70, we lived in a different era and that which occupies my mind is totally different with what he professes. Buhari? A man whose bigotry is overt and is ideology as old as Nok culture itself.
Buhari? A man who in this 21st century still thinks Christian should vote for Christian and Muslim for Muslim.
Buhari? A man whose interest in Aso Rock is made loquaciously and he has remained silent to the carnage that has beclouded part of the North.
Buhari? A man who toppled a democratically elected government and lorded his illegitimacy over us helplessly.
Buhari? A man who said "the monkeys and baboons will be bathed in blood should he not win an election.
Buhari? A man who never believed in democracy and even as a civilian, he has never emerged flag-bearer of any party by passing through primary election.
Buhari? When over 60% of Nigerians are below 33, how can he relate with the almost half a century difference in age?
Buhari is a curse that Nigeria have to shed. I'll never vote for anybody who had a hand in putting Nigeria into this sorry state we have found ourselves.
Buhari does not need to face a ballot to go to Aso Rock, he needs to face a judge and his place is in jail.
One way or another, this clog in the wheel of progress called Buhari will die, either from too much failures in politics or from the fact that he is the most hated Nigerian.
Your post in summary :
* You dont want to vote Buhari because HE IS TOO OLD
* You believe he once called Muslims to vote for only Muslims
* Some other figments of your imagination about the Great Man

(1) If you had sauntered through the desert for days and God preserved your life and sent an old man (at 70) to offer you water, will you take the water? If a young bandit (at 30) attacked you and came for your belongings in the same situation, will you thank him and ask him to come steal more?

(2) If you could provide the video evidence where GMB said Xtians for Xtians and Moslems for Moslems I AM READY TO PART WITH A $1000

(3) You claim to be young and advanced and you write LIES about a Great Man without any evidence. If you are truelly advanced you will NEVER base your judgement on hearsays only. Do an objective research on GMB and what he stands for. All forward-looking organisations with goals have old mixed with young people. Old people bring experience and maturity while the young bring vitality and innovation.

Grow up brother we need GMB to lay the foundation for A NEW BEGINNING

PoliticsRe: Yoruba Group Rejects Buhari’s Offer To Step Down For Anyone In APC. by solopumpy227: 10:50pm On May 04, 2013
Okay some reasonable people are now thinking. I like looking at things in facts and figures.

Buhari ran an incredibly cheap campaign in 2011 concentrating only in States he felt could be sway votes. He and the running mate flew on a cheap aircraft and their campaign plans were hampered by lack of fund but they polled 12 Million GENUINE VOTES.

Quoting from Ezekwezile GEJ met $6? Billion foreign reserve and after the election the figure has dipped by more than $20 Billion. PDP delegates were properly taken care of. Northern PDP Govs ensured no stone was left unturned to steal some votes for PDP and 98% vote returns in SE and SS. 22 Million votes.

With ACN, ANPP, APGA-APGA and Buhari here is the super-synergy. Its like a four-legged table without Buhari the balance is compromised.

SAI BUHARI 2015
THE CHANGE IS NEVER TOO LATE,ITS EVERGREEN AND ITS HERE TO STAY
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Now Produce Ten Million Litters Of Petrol Per Day. Jonathan by solopumpy227: 8:10am On May 04, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: The implications of increased local refining capacity are as follows:

1 Better distribution and product availability. In fact, this is the most important. If you reside in Nig you would have noticed that fuel is now readily available at govt approved price. The issue of some filling station selling at N10 or N20 or even more above govt approved price of N97 is now minimal. Also very important is increased availability of kerosine which is used mostly by the poor.

2 Reduced importation, reduced subsidy payments and reduced capital flight.

3 Bye products from the refineries will feed local industries, eg textile industries, with needed raw materials. When the refineries pack up, most industries experience untold hardship in sourcing these raw materials
Good job Egbon mi. Even though I believe you are Reno that works for the FG I still cannot take your statements as official stands of the FG.

You see why many of us are calling President Jonathan to task is because we started following him as the new (shoeless) kid-in-town who hopefully will become a complete departure from the way things were done in the past.

From his struggle with Turai and the crew, through his stand-off against IBB,Atiku and other Northern Elders we still stood by him and listened to him. Somehow I always remember everything he promised on his campaign tours, rallies and visits. This is where MY OWN PROBLEM WITH HIM LIES.I BELIEVED ALL HIS PROMISES THEN. Now that an overwhelming number of Nigerians are dissapointed because he does not seem to be working towards keeping his campain promises dont you think its time for him to sit-up and change method for effective service delivery.

I want to hear all the possible gains you have listed, officially, from the President or a delegated authority and put it in my Diary. We want him to come out and beat his chest with (facts, figures, and time-line attached) this supposed achievement by his Government will bring these gains

You cannot lie to me several times and still believe you can earn my trust on a platter of gold.

Please also remember we are still waiting for the subsidy thieves to be purnished so that we can start ignoring the calls by the likes of Britain and Amerian claiming our Government is too corrupt.
