Out of curiosity, I followed the link to read the report but what I found was dem say, dem say. Ojukwu NEVER made any public statement on the issue. For instance the report stated:

The last paragraph of the report stated:

My conclusion is that the report is dem say, dem say. Some supporters of IBB had a closed door meeting with the late Dim, after which one of them briefed the press, saying whatever will please his master. Ojukwu NEVER made any public comment on the issue.

To me this crisis is more political than religious. In Nigeria today there is only a couple of Northerners that these guys can trust. They may trust Soyinka but I'm not sure if he will be ready to do it. If Government cannot get any of these trusted Nigerians to do it then I will go for one of the popular Islamic Leaders in the Arabian world. Someone who has been seen to defend Islamic course. These guys monitor happenings in Islamic world closely and have heroes that can tell them its time to stop.

My advice to all Southern Christians leaving in the volatile states of the North is to come back home. The Government in power is more interested in empowering looters and 2015 elections than protecting innocent lives.

The President himself cannot go to these areas without the escort of huge army and artilleries. Do not believe any security promise from this government. BH have targetted Emir of Kano, IBB, Bauchi's Gov, Borno Gov, Army Generals etc and touching defenceless people is just a piece of cake for them. Have you asked yourself why all the politicians are jittery of a Buhari's Presidency? They know he stands for honesty and will most likely go after public looters-judging by his antecedents.
