Phut:

I beg to differ. Support is Nye aka - Literally to give a helping hand. Azuka as in the case of the name means past/history. The opposite of Azuka is Nkeiruka (Nkeiru being the future). Let me call the erudite scholars to come expound on this matter

cc: Tochex101, Bigfrancis21.

Actually Azu doesn't directly or necessarily mean Support,
but in some context, laying on someone's back or giving someone a back can be translated to 'Support'

I translated Azu as back/Support, while yours seems to be Past/history

Support is greater is what I have always known Azuka to mean.

I am sure that there are other meaning, like the one you gave.

Hmm, am learning but phut said Azuka means the past or history is greater. Could it be it can have 2 meanings. Thanks for contribution, am grateful.

Yes, some names do...

Is good to know you love your surname maybe because of the way it sound or the meaning but I pay more attention to meaning. There are funny Igbo names I can't give my children. Name like "Azuka" (back/backwardness is greater). It may sound nice to many but the meaning is awful. Same applies to names of other tribes.

Azuka actually means support is greater.
Giving someone a back can literally mean supporting someone.

I got a message from a certain number asking me to call a particular number cos my BVN and account numbers are blocked
I did a search on Facebook (on the number i was asked to call) and came up with these
The scammer's names and pics

He even have the gots to post such messages on his timeline on Facebook and I wonder why the security agencies are not doing anything about it.

This is very wrong of you.
The man in the picture is innocent and a victim like you.
He only copied and pasted on facebook the message the scammer sent him.

His last sentence is a prove of that.

"please help me tell this people that I dont need the card and account again. No be by force!"

I don't know this man oo but I can't just stand and watch you stain someone's reputation, all because you want to make the frontpage.

You are actually right, its a 5 not 6, even with the 0 front of it, when you compare it with the 6 on the next row you see that they are not alike in anyway.

Thank you oo
I thought I was the one with a poor eye sight.

I had almost planned on visiting an optician cheesy

I am not doubting the fact some of these products can be doctored.

Like I said earlier, the zero before the five made it look like it's 6 but the shape gave it a way

Well, since I am the only one who noticed the difference, then maybe it's from my eyes.

I don't know if I am the only one who saw 17/05/17 from the picture.

The 0 before 5 made it look like 6.
Besides, that's not even how 6 is written.

Since she has already accepted to refund the 2,500, take it and move on.

What is wrong with the flogging, to instill discipline, there must be some floggings. Some people are shouting now before you know it another battalion of armed soldiers like the DSS at Calabar will invade the school and brutalize the principal. We should call a spsde a spade and stand firmly for what is right. Let us rise above sentiments, we all passed through the system and that is why we are what we are today.

Yes of course, that is why Nigerians are the way they are.
Very violence and aggressive.

A little issue that can be resolved amicably without even involving the police, they will resort to violence and bloodshed.

A conductor will kill a passenger just because of 30naira change.
During election, instead of voting peacefully, they will resort to violence.
Nigerian police and army officers maltreating and bullying innocent citizen.

You train kids in Nigeria with violence and expect them to grow up and not turn out violence.
Only lazy parents and teacher use violence to discipline kids.
They are just using the short cut, forgetting that they are doing more harm than good.

Of course, I can see how peaceful, lovely and law abiding Nigerians are.

A very peaceful country. They whole world can testify to it.

To stop using the internet at home and start patronising cyber cafe.

To stop cooking at home and start patronising food vendors

To stop making calls with our phones and start patronising phone booths

Culture / Re: Half-Unclad Women In Birnin Amina, Niger State, Can't Afford Clothes (Pics) by somcherry(f): 8:52pm On Feb 01, 2017
Unclotheness used to be an African culture, until they brought clothes to Africa and started teaching us shame.

Women in Africa used to dress like this and it was regarded as normal.

It is their culture to dress that way.

They should be left the way they are.
If they want to help them, they can help in other way.

Don't be surprised to know that despite the fact that they are topless, there are little or no cases of rape. Whereas in places where women cover up, you hear rape cases.

Don't corrupt them

This is just small naa to be compared to what they did to us at Ugborimili Primary School, Onitsha.

Ours is after kneeling down till the assembly is over then you will be flogged strokes of cane on your two bare foots together with a very big cane by the teacher.

You won't even see the legs to walk to your classroom, you will just stay there like a crippled person with tears in your eyes, while the female folks will be crying out loud, we the big boys cry inside.

That woman is just wicked. If I see her on the road, the rest will be history.

Lol. I know Ugbormili primary school.

I didn't attend their though but Our house was very close to the school.

I attended another school in the same Estate.

From the story she didn't really accuse her of stealing her bangle.

she only asked why she should be allow to leave when she is still looking for her bangle.

I understand her fears. Anyone who has lost a belonging in a public gathering will react similarly.

You will be paranoid when someone is leaving because at that time everyone is a suspect.
