They hardly use prepaid phones and their phones are mostly from service providers who sell the phones at a very cheap rate since the customers are expected to pay for airtime which is where providers make money from unlike us here that buy the phone at almost 100-200% rate. They don't spread nada, rather you sub for 6 months, nothing like 1-2 years, you renew every 6 months and you're not paying renewal for phone cost, rather for data and voice. the initial money you paid was for the phone. Remember the days of MTN and Sendo? samsard: And how did you arrive at this conclusion? That ',the whites' hardly use their phones? Shift comot for here. Even average westerners use what we call highend phones, coz their average income is much higher and they have the payment spread over 1-2 years on a contract. |

Major reason why he sits back for us which has actually helped us. He also knows how to occupy space to make up his not so fast pace. AIG07: that's the painful truth.
For the sake of balance of play, I don't see their combo working. I see one been drop to the bench(this is hard for me to admit).
Both players are great tacklers and fighters. They are predominantly right footed and tends to drift to the same side of the pitch therefore leaving gaps for opponents to exploit.
But for this to happen, we will need to have a more better and quality DMF/CM who is good on both feet.
Ogu is good and thumps Onazi when it comes to passing but he isn't mobile enough(I don't think he can cover large area in small time lapse like Onazi).

It can't get up to 10 red cards in a game.
For the match to continue, you can't have less than 6 outfield players on the field.
After Anderson, Denilson shouldn't have gotten a card, because if he did, the match ends

Their words against his or were you expecting something romantic from them? Their system wasn't working for 25 years, he came to change things and you expect those who met there to be happy with him? Use the case of NEPA and the new guys that took over, did you not witness the tumor between NEPA workers and the new guys. Blackmail, propoganda and ramblings happened because the old guys wouldn't let go without a fight. People just don't fancy strong headed leaders. All the same, if the owners of fortuna believe he lied against them, they should sue him to court since they still owe him. junnyjake: Oh Oh Oh, you've been repeating same thing since we started this talk last year and i'm just taking notice of it, how come?
So if some "successful" coaches are being unnecessarily hard then we should overlook the excesses of those starting out employing such template, because to you arrogance = excellence.
Being unnecessarily stubborn doesn't always translates into being principled.
Oliseh is someone I've known to be a troublemaker since his playing days for both club and country and if you are asking me for proof of this, then I shouldn't be having this argument with you.
Some of those who he sent out of the team said he was impossible to work with how many of those coaches you like to compare to Oliseh were ever dismissed for same reason, if not for consistent bad results?
Here's one law of power : people crave for change, but when it comes too abruptly, they are sure going to rebel against you even if it's for their benefit in the long run. So what do you do? you feed their fantasy but inject change in a steady, controlled and calculated manner so you don't upset things and are seen as a 'Pandejo'
I'm a United fan and if up till date, I'm not a Mourinho's fan why should I condone Oliseh I even condemned his calling of the team doctor a biatch when he was at Chelsea.
Oliseh can only succeed at a team where he has the controlling share of the club, triples as the sporting director, technical Director and the coach, since he's someone who always wants to be seen as right.
Just imagine him in a Madrid team, I can almost predict correctly him having problems with the Ramos, Marcelo and the Ronaldos of the team because of his overbloated ego that's good at nothing but causing upset everywhere he goes. |

He has put his lawyers to work on his pay owed him by the club + that of his assistant (who isn't Nigerian) tbaba1234: You realise that even in the Super Eagles, Oliseh did not exactly get along with everyone.
He should have followed the legal route instead of talking illegality on tweeter after he was fired. That just sounds like sour grapes. They can as well sue him so he doesn't get a dime owed him while clearing their names. Win win for the club! |

You hug people around you in the heat of celebration not running meters away to the touchline just to hug the coach. Sometimes they don't even allow any other player celebrate with them until they get to him. And after most matches, players come to hug him. That he was vocal and had issues with some players in the SE as the coach doesn't mean he's 100% a timebom as he's being made to be. He was in the SE for years, a bad manner players would have been benched, chased out of the team and not being made the captain. You don't use a player you don't get along with as your captain (majorly) All in all, if what he said is actually false, he will surely pay huge damages, that's if the management actually take the case to court. What he said is no small thing and I expect him.to be taken to court if they are false. tbaba1234: The coach is not the opposition.
See, Oliseh's dealing with majorly young players without big egos. Players who are grateful for the opportunity to play in some cases.
Oliseh might be domineering but he is not their enemy.
Strangers hug each other when a goal is scored, much less a manager. |

From some of of links I posted, it stated these players are mostly those not getting games under him. tbaba1234: Celebrating a goal is a happy moment. Oliseh being a dictator does not mean, he is like that 24-7.
Oliseh:
“The Turkish owners also got the players to say they are unhappy with me.”
So the players are saying, they are unhappy with him. Celebration in the heat of scoring wouldn't make you hug your opponent right? So you think that will make them always run to hug him? People celebrate and Hadly hug those they don't naturally connect with. |

Let's be straight when giving information na. http://www.brila.net/dont-want-go-jail-oliseh-exposes-shady-owners-fortuna-sittard/tbaba1234: Oliseh himself is reported to have said that the management has turned the players against him in a recent interview. What do you then expect from the "big guys dictating before he came"? In a video interview with Fox Sports Nertherlands, which was monitored by Completesportsnigeria.com, Oliseh stated that one of his players walked up to him after a defeat to expose nefarious plans of the club. “Four weeks ago when we lost a game in FC Dordrecht one of my players called me to say he had to tell me something, that the club had presented a document to him to sign against me and that he refused,” Oliseh told Fox Sports Nertherlands. “And I asked why, he replied ‘because they are building up a case against you, they are asking other players to sign’". https://www.completesportsnigeria.com/oliseh-fortuna-sittard-turned-players-club-must-pay-off/ |

He had issues with fortuna not with the league board or other clubs in the league so please how are some of your questions relevant here? It's not the league board or other clubs that are raising dust, it's the club. My question remains: since he's a bad manager and treats people badly, who was he using to get the results he got while at them helm? Let's think deeper and stop allowing our sentiments becloud our judgement. I haven't said in all my comments that he's a saint, only saying some of what are being peddled aren't the true reason for sacking him. They are only using some of his past incidence to Nick him in the mud IMHO. If an independent body or an expert investigative journalist get on this case, you'd be surprised at what they will unearth. Humility017: can I ask you some questions?
is oliseh the first coach to have worked in the netherland? why is the club management reporting some of this issues about him? compare his fall out wit enyeama and the nff wit the drama he went display in Holland...
should that Michael assertion be taken for true...that the club management want some of their players in the club team one of the reason for his suspension....then tell me..why the other coaches working in that country still haven't had same rifts prior now...? is he the only one coaching in netherland...or is he going to tell me that the netherland football is still as corrupt as Nigeria...?
please it will be good you guys come to terms that this man's character is telling on him and not people presumption. |

Who was he winning games with then since he treats his players and staff like trash? Now that he's no longer there, how come they are back to where they belong, losing games home and away? tbaba1234: Oliseh is known as an authoritarian at fortuna Sittard. In June last year, i shared a report from a dutch newspaper where he was described as a ticking time bomb.
This is 8 months before, he was fired.
"Oliseh behaves at fortuna as a ruler, no one who dares to put him in the road. Whoever has the power to act, plays with fire. By constantly sharpening internal relations, fortuna's eupen-resident Nigerian is making a ticking time bomb."
Wolf in sheep's clothing
Authoritarian Also caregiver Marco Lemmens and keeper trainer Patrick Creemers already collided with the African vedette. Their role at fortuna has now been played. Now that the loyal Ferry de Regt also draws conclusions is significant. In particular, the authoritarian behavior of coach Sunday oliseh causes a double split. The Nigerian, in the winter stop as Ben van Dael's successor, looks at the television cameras amicably and sympathetically, but behind the scenes he is the famous wolf in sheep's clothes.
None of the coaches you mentioned treat their players and staff like crap. Yes, Alex Ferguson will give you the hair-dryer treatment if you perform poorly but he was not known as a ticking time bomb because of his behavior.
All of the coaches you mentioned are incidently very loyal to their players. |
