Gerrard CAN NOT DO WHAT lampard is doing in Chelsea, if you were a Chelsea fan you would know this. I need not argue on this point.

Please take your mind back to Euro 2004 and ask yourself where was Gerrard? Because Lamps is not at his best FOR HIS COUNTRY, you all think he is now inferior to Gerrard.

The both midfielders are great in their own way. Leave that as it is. JM would NEVER trade Lamps for Gerrard and neither would I.

Ronaldihno is much younger than Becky. Take me some years back and i would undoubtedly say Becky.

Ronaldinho has been terrific in Barca in terms of pace, dribble, passes, flair, skill and goals.

Take nothing out of Beckham he's a marvellous player and is transforming Real. Becky probably has been better this year than Ronaldinho but in the last few years Ronaldinho has been much better.

Since when did missing a match for your country mean you to be unpatriotic?

Anyway, i think a lot has to be blamed on the attitude of our players and fingers would mostly point at NFA and Ministry of Sports. Europeans and South Americans jump at the chance to play for their country but West Africans dont. I specifically refer to the Togolese debacle that occurred at the World Cup 2006, Essien - Ghana and Mikel.

Goals and title won always come into perspective.

I could argue about Lamps versatility with Gerrard since through he's amazing goal ration, i can use him as a striker. So that cancels out using Gerrard as a defender.

Lamps is very well more Consistent than Gerrard. Whats your reference frame? Club football or Country?

Skill too can be argued. The too of them hardly play the dribble and skillful game. And it terms of accurate passes you can check up the last season results on that.

Ayefele, i'd wanted to do an anti-arsenal rhyme with 2 or people and i think you'd be great in it.

Lets give Yar'adua a chance, the guy has hardly stayed a week in office. Abeg you guys should wake up. Most parties rigged the elections in their favours but failed. Yar'adua may just be the best candidate. I really dont prefer the other two.

Robben is a good player but after the injury in his first season he has neva been thesame. Perhaps he would fare beta in spain. The only way i'd let him go is if we go for Quaresma, Simao or Joaquin

To be sincere, Gerrard may be beta than Lampard in a host of things esp versatility, but there is something no one can take away from Lampard - His statistics. He's the highest scoring midfielder in the premiership and even Gerrard can come near that. Even in England Lampard may have scored more goals.

Lampard is a great player. He has been linked with all the great clubs - Real, Barca, Milan, Juve. Ronaldinho once wanted him and Henry in Barca. His passes and goals are just superb. Every season he nets at least 15 goals for Chelsea - and i'm only talking about the premiership. He holds the record of longest consecutive hours played in the premiership, only a keeper - James - comes next.

Even England fans are quick to forget that his superb display in Euro 2004 or world cup 2006 qualifiers. His world cup was not great cuz he did not score a goal, but excuse me since when did we judge midfielders through the number of goals scored? The answer - since Frank Lampard showed the great scorer he is.

Personally we should pay no more than 6-8m pounds for a Right back. Abeg i dont want us to spend up to 10m on a defender or anyone else this season. Instead let our bad performers remain and improve.
