The EPL may just be a 2 horse race if Arsenal does not win this match. There's a lot of time though, it's only 20mins in the game. |
. . . we think like you? ![]() |
uspry Too many ex's in there, it all seems rather confusing ![]() Nwando Ole . . . see how you don steal my man ![]() Toyin I thought you promised to stop doing drugs ![]() |
Rumours 1. Makalele is set to be handed a new contract that extends his current on to 2010 Nateevs what do you make of this and your wage structure speech? ![]() 2. Drogba linked to Internazionale . . . and what else is new News. 1. Court rules Mikel's contract document to Man Utd as FORGED. What Ferguson would do to get players! ![]() Link |
And the above is your opinion to the issue raised? |
Nateevs ![]() I asked for stats AFTER his initial injury not during his injury ![]() somze: |
Almond Why have you grouped me with those trouble makers ![]() You know you are very admired dear ![]() |
I know how few those hours are and that's just sad, We'll have to talk about that. ![]() I'm out of this thread. ![]() |
I understand your issues with debts and our break-even goal. Let's see how things go. I hear Cech and Lampard may not be fit for tomorrow's game due to Injuries ( or actually recovering from injuries). What do you think about tomorrow's game? Do you know we have failed to win matches when Lampard does not play, since he returned from his initial injury? I may be wrong, you may want to check up on that. Now isn't that a stat to ponder about |
ibkaye I'm going through a thread about relationships and religions. I'm beginning to see some heated exchanges. How long did you sleep for last nite? |
Here ![]() |
Wait . . . is this a religious issue or a church issue? I couldn't go through all of the thread but seems to me that they're both Christians but go to different churches. . . . Just made it to the 3rd or is it 2nd thread and noticed aisha2 unnecessarily attack David - disappointing from her. . . . Oh just saw another one by Busta, this David guy is really lucky. With all the criticisms he gets for this very few sect it seems he'd be prepared to run for the White House in no time ![]() . . . Almond just joined in too, now all hell can break lose. Ah I'm tired, will read the rest later . . . if ever. |
I'm too tired to look at the profile. Next! |
That's a contrast . . . I sleep all the time ![]() Except when my Manager or some top shot come visiting ![]() |
Do you sleep? |
Dason That date on that link is 18th, November 2007, Dude! ![]() Nateevs, A footballers career is short. You have to understand their sentiments when it comes to wages. This is not an excuse for them, it's just a statement of fact. I don't talk about players wages, that's for the board and management to decide not me. I just want to see delivery and performance on the pitch. I've had a keen interest in Modric since the initial rumours. If he is bought though, you must know he'll need time to fit in. Normally, that may take a season or so. Consider that Drogba, Ronaldo(Man Utd) among others, took a while to get to the form they are in today. During that time (settling in) we still need experienced players to close the gap or else I fear we would go for a few seasons without a trophy like Man Utd did. This is one reason why I am against a mass exodus of players from the bridge. A few strategic players would do. 1. An attacking play-making midfielder 2. Strikers - This depends on who's leaving. Shevshenko, Pizarro may most likely leave. Drogba - maybe. Anelka - unknown. I think we need Drogba, to remain whatever happens. 3. We need a Left sided winger, if we Malouda does not improve. 4. We need to promote youth team players that are talented and have the potential. What's up with the defender and striker we got over the January window? Anyone has any news on them? Are they playing in the reserves? |
Amodu It's too late in the campaign to waste energy, to risk injuries. If we can kill the game - say 2 or more goals - in the first half, we can sit back and take it easy while playing on the counter, or holding on to possesion. That way we slow down the pace of the game and can bring on more fringe players while resting major first team players. |
Nateevs I think we should come out fighting and end the game in the first half. I would like to see a 4-4-2 and AG can choose between Ballack or Lampard. 2nd half, we change to 4-5-1, sit back and defend our lead. Invite them to come out and hit them at the counter. Middlesbrough, I think, we'd be looking to score a goal and defend it like they did against Arsenal. It will be better if we score that goal and another first. Kill the game off and look forward to the next. |
Here ![]() |
I will give her a passionate french kiss ![]() Where have you been? Thank goodness you are back. I'm losing my freaking mind in the sports thread. |
I don't blame her, right now I feel like slapping a couple of Nairalanders myself. |
LOL Where have you been bro? The tables have turned and we're in a good position at the moment. What position are you guys again? ![]() |
Oh shit, he's at everton now isn't he? Oh well ![]() |
Na craze dey worry you. ![]() |
Ok Guys lets change the direction . . . We play at home against with Middlesbrough on Sunday. Middlesbrough have only managed to win 3 away matches this season in Contrast with Chelsea's ten (10) away wins. Chelsea have the highest away wins this season with that figure. Man Utd are on 9 away wins and Arsenal have 8. However we've failed to win a couple of games at home and have only ten (10) home wins which leaves a stark contrast with Man Utd's 14. One thing we've failed to do this year is show consistency. We win a match and then lose another or drop valuable points a week or days after. It's going to be difficult doing it once again against ManUtd (we fell short last season) but we have certain advantages this time around -
[li]We have management in support of AG [/li] [li]and most of all we have a full squad at his disposal.[/li]
Hopefully with our team focused and with the right mentality not to mention the right tactical decisions, we may just have a chance. We have to win all our matches. Middlesbrough recently drew with Arsenal at Emirates and won Derby. They showed against Arsenal a determined defense which we must be weary of. I don't think we have done well against sides that have closed their defenses. This time they would have 11 men to do it with. They're a physical team and can play the long balls. Danger men - Alves, Tuncay, Yakubu. What do you guys think we should play against them? Lets talk formation and tactics. |
LOL You guys don't just get it. The moment you start arguing with this scum, he'll jump from pillar to post, twist the discussion, distort history and do anything to make the argument lose it's flow. Can any of you remember what it is exactly you were arguing about? This guy is a genius. Can we talk about our next games now? |
Toyin Why are you so defensive? ![]() Hope you have no fantasies to hide ![]() Anyway if it will make you feel better, I don't think much about you my self ![]() Got to do stuff now, nite dear ![]() |
