Most of the Innoson SUVs used by the presidential aides were acquired by the presidency for their senior staff and are for official use.

He did not state the mileage so we cannot assume anything.


Many companies auction off their vehicles after two years because the maintenance cost becomes overbearing.

I read some funny comments in bewilderment only to realise the thread was in politics section and not car talk.

The age of the vehicle is only a part of the picture. The MILEAGE, maintenance and condition of use is another.

A two and half year old personal vehicle with 15,000 miles that is well maintained is totally different from a 2 and half year old government vehicle that has 200,000 miles on it.

Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Ford etc recall vehicles regularly following high complaint frequency for specific electrical, mechanical or hydraulic failure. How can this guy who might not own a business discredit another's hard work over an issue as common place as car fault that could easily be resolved with a 3 min call to customer service. Why this increasing lack of thoughtfulness, considerate behavior and respect in Nigerian society?? .

I wonder how he would feel if someone in his office went on social media to publicize his mistake. I feel real sad when people throw away caution and behave in this way.

And everybody stop being tribal. Nigerian must grow there own. that is the only way. You have no other option. The innoson motors are complete substandard,typical Igbo made. I challenge those shouting to check some of the agencies in Abuja that procured the product.majority of them are not in used.Just check revenue mobilization were an Igbo man is the head about 10 of the innoson rubbish are parked. My office procured some last march but u can't do long journey with the vehicles.They are completely substandard buying them is just waste of public fund
