Congrats to everyone who got PPR,

I got a question, how long does it take before WAEC evaluation leaves their office in yaba? I am asking because the day I went there, a lady came to complain of delay having applied since February. Meanwhile, her file was still in the office.

I intend to do follow up to make sure they send it as soon as possible because delay is dangerous grin

On proof of fund being locked when you submit your request. I do not think that is true. I know someone that got ADR for POF when the rates moved against him.
Having funds in dollar acct is fine. Note however that it cannot be fixed as investment if it is paid in as cash. Only direct inflows from swift can be fixed as investment.
As per transferring money from your acct to your Dads acct so you can get it transferred to you is good. It would mean you do not need to upload statements from that acct.
It is advisable to provide statement of acct showing salary inflows. It serves as additional verification for your source of fund. Though some people do not and they don't have issues. I don't like taking chances with VOs.
You do not need to provide your pension statement of you are not using it for POF. I do not understand why you are not using it though.
It is better to open and use a USD acct than a CAD. I say this cos the black market exchange rate for CAD is a bit funny.
As per attaching statement of acct in addition to investment certificate. Yes. It's a good idea.
My 2 cents to you and Walecanada.
So you mean one can use pension account for POF? If so, that’s new

So ECO to Dollar exchange rate will be?
Exchange rate has no real significance (it’s just numbers). Buying power (Economic power) is what you should focus on.

As usual, the north takes the lion share of the resources, thousands of mile away from their region. Imagine if the resource was based in the north. No southerner will be appointed. Ask yourself why no southerner has been the FCT minister, which is the capital for all Nigerians? Can you imagine a southerner being on top of Gold mining in Zamfara...? Nigeria has never worked, as true federalism is just not there.

All the major income generating outfits of the country is in the south...and they are headed by the north...NPA, Customs, NNPC...They claim they have massive land, of what use...? The north has become lazy because they reap where they have not sown.
a funny twist is, the yorubas (arguably the most learned region) still love these guys. Makes me wonder.

I have just discovered how to boost CRS point with additional 34points through additional 2 years diploma in THREE MONTHS. The British Computer Society Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) is recognized by WES and Evaluated as an Equivalent of two years diploma in Canada. I know of someone who has used it. The pass mark is 40%. The CIT has only three courses which are introductory courses to Computer and Network. They have an approved training centre here in Nigeria, although is located in Jos, Plateau State, they have a very robust online training platform for distance learning students. I know of about 12 of us based in Lagos that are currently taking the training, they gave us all the recommended textbooks, training materials, pass questions and answers, there is a WhatsApp group where we all discuss and we have access to some of their instructors.

You can get their details on BSC website or you just type BCS approved training in Nigeria on google to get their details.

Between WES & UI PG schl, I'm convinced the delay was caused by the latter, which was the verification stage. At some point, they said they hadn't received any mail from WES. At other times, they said if they didn't respond like 7 or 8 times, WES wouldn't receive it (e-mail fa angry). This was something I shouldn't have known about till it was done but it took pressure from a UI staff and a visit to PG schl to get it resolved, by sending a hard copy verification. That was when I heard some of the staff members discussing that the mailingletter system has a problem (which I already knew). I can't remember how many times I called WES, each time spending 300 naira for 20mins. I know this situation is unusual for most, but that's my story.

Ok that’s unusual. But thank God alas you are free. We move. Congrats cool

This doesn't matter bro. The paper works involved in claiming self employed no be here o. Better you go for the 3 years work experience as an employee as @topsmamen has adviced since that is enough to give you the requisite 50points which is the maximum by the way. Your personal history will make them know you are now a CEO and a LOE explaining that part of your POF came from your current business is enough to settle things. Your claiming your CEO position wouldn't change much. Just ensure that your current role as a CEO reflects clearly in your personal history. All the best boss.
Evening I got a question, I did IT in diamond bank 2012 and I worked for 12months. Do you think it’s possible to get a letter confirming I worked there? That can stand for a year experience right?

I don't think IRCC will accept bitcoin as POF, so you'll most likely have to liquidate and keep the cash or buy T bills/ mutual funds or something. It will be a bulk sum credit into your bank account so I would suggest a letter of explanation, to explain the source of funds.

How much do they require? if I may ask.

Don't be in a rush, give yourself two weeks of reading and digesting. If you're all over the place, you'll get confused.
I promise, at the end of the two weeks of reading you'll get clarity.

Quebec has its own different immigration process. If you choose it, you'll have issues.
Good morning madam,

I will take my time to read as advised. God bless you embarassed

Don't choose Quebec. As an English only speaker, you'll be disqualified if you choose Quebec as your choice province to reside in because it is a French speaking Province.
Oooh thank you. I was wondering. Have a great day
