furniture makers are known for this. There is this bed I saw on display and he clearly told me he made it for someone. I asked how much, he told me 190k. I told him I will take it now and pay 200k, he told me the person is coming next week to carry it. I offered him 205k and he sold it to me telling me he will work day and night to get another one done.

Please people in the house, how can you classify this and what can be the recommended solution.

We gave a furniture maker NGN 200,000 as advance out of NGN 250,000 to make a set of chairs on the 1st Dec 2020. The. Furniture maker gave us as 20 Dec 2020 to deliver..

After so many promise and fail, we learnt today that the furniture maker made the furnitures but sold it and kept lying to us giving one excuse or the other.

It's really annoying and painful because he traded with my 200, 000 making profits and still he has not delivered the order from Dec 20, 2020 till now.

How can I get this furniture maker to feel the pain I am going thru because of his dishonesty and wickedness.

Will getting him to arrested be an option that would be effective?

Please I need suggestions because if this people are not made to bear the consequences of their actions, such behavior will continues with more people falling victim.

Very painful something. Lock him up on a friday and bail him on monday. Then let him sign when he will deliver the furniture according to specifications. Let him make the furniture because 200k at December is no longer 200k now.

So i asked my window guy for his quotation, i got the below;

Aluminium casement window
4x4 at a price of #40k each
2x2 at a price of #20k

sliding window with net
4x4 at a price of #28
2x2 at a price of #15


However in Nairaland i have seen a different quotation format as shown below:
1 1200 X 1400
2 1700 X 1900
3 1400 X 1400
4 1200 X 1600

Does this make any sense to you guys? should i ask for similar quotations.
Also what should i be looking out for in terms of material quality.

Yours is in feet while the ones you see here are in mm. It's the same thing.
4 by 4 is the same as 1200 by 1200
