Most of them know what they are going into as it's the norm in Benin City. Most of the parents sell landed properties to send these girls to Italy. They even send 'jazz' to them to ensure business boom. When they have freed themselves from their madam love-vendor,they start sending money home for their people to erect buildings for them. Many rented apartments in Benin are owned by jandon landladies. The sad thing is that these girls go through this inhuman treatment(most coming down with AIDS) to make money and more often than not, their relatives live large and squander the money. It's a very sad thing. I wish Edo state govt will increase their enlightenment campaign against this evil.

What I learned from that experience is that a woman keeping her mouth shut doesn't guarantee that the man would stop. I believe the man must be a drunk as I don't understand how someone can keeping throwing things at and hitting someone who wasn't even fighting back. He would calm down for some minutes then start again. That's for those saying it's because of what the woman said or did.

I don't have a child just yet, soon sha, but I'v been privileged to help nurse a friend's new born...that experience still remains with me..

If any of you have truly nursed a new baby, you'll know its no child's play especially with no help...maybe OP just got the opportunity and doozed off for a few minutes, (body no be wood na) and this happened....

Like other sensible and sensitive people have advised OP, please check baby with a doctor just to be certain all is well.
