What is this world turning into. Time will come nobody won't need the services of this housemaids and househelps anymore. A lesson for you that cant do without keeping househelps...
Is it not because of men that women carry hous2helps. If only men can assist their wives in the house,i don't think anyone will like to have a stranger in her home. I always insist that househelps are for men's benefit. You will see a man that normally helps out in d house become a couch potato because there's a maid. As for me i do the much i can do because house work no dey finish esply when you have little kids. It's just my husband that keeps insisting we get a maid despite all these stories. May God help us all

I hope the lady from the thread that made frontpage some days back, the one whose husband rapes her anytime she refuses him, is reading this story!

"He will change" has claimed more lives than pregnancy and childbirth complications.

Ladies! You only have one life, not two! "He will change" is a chance. So why take a chance on ur one life when there's no spare life?!

A living divorcee is better than a dead married woman!
Blesie is her moniker

And what creates the devilish environment in Nigeria where women and children are abused and the abuser rarely pays the consequences - The Nigerian court system?

Isn't it the Nigerian court system that allows most abusers to walk away scot free?

Isn't it the Nigerian court system that most abused women can't really turn to, if they want to press charges against their abusive boyfriends and/or husbands?

At least in America, there are laws in place that do their best to protect abused women and children.

Is it a perfect system? No. But at least, over here, women and children are protected as much as possible. They aren't told that domestic abuse is a 'family matter', so go home and face your husband or beg for his forgiveness, for whatever it is you did wrong.

Over here, abusers are fined and/or jailed.

But...sometimes, it's the women who refuse to press charges - with some ending up dead.

However, in some cases, the state will press charges against the abuser, whether the abused presses charges or not.

Over here, men can't treat women or children anyway they wish and think they're going to get away with it.

Some things you can do in Nigeria, you can't do in America, as some Nigerians have discovered, to their dismay, as they sit in prison rotting away.
And many of those Nigerian men can't imagine a woman having a say and being protected so they just kill them off. Cave men

What he stated is the fact. Go to Houston and see things for yourself.

These killings have been going on for many years now. It seems that it is now an annual occurence.

Bad advisers are not in short supply and they have advised and cheered many women to early graves. The discerning ones
stay away from them and sort their family wahala with their significant others.

And Of course trust the average Nigerian man. it's always the women that cause marital squabbles. Mtschewww.

many NIDs in Texas need total mental overhauling

Even my friend and her husband over there keep complaining about the environment and how it is not marriage friendly.

Was that L.A guy high on horseshit? I hope he got the gas chamber.
What happens most time is that these Nigerian guys over there come home and marry 'naive' young girls and expect the kind of submission you get in naija. When the girls get over there, of course they see the "liberty" there and blend in. This causes many of these stories we hear of. The women are quick to get oyinbo mentality and the men never drop their naija mentality.

Truly Jimi Agbaje is over rated, the man has run a one shop Pharmacy his whole life. Despite that he was born with a silver spoon his pharmacy is not even one of the best or biggest in Nigeria. We can't even name one drug that his pharmacy has ever produced, na to just buy and sell drugs huh
So his pharmacy must be the biggest before he can contest?

Most of the time when an individual is murdered ,the killer is usually someone close....

Nothing was stolen, not even her phone....

And to think that the kids discovered her body is unimaginable....
I agree with you. In cases like this, the spouse is usually the first suspect so the husband should be questioned thoroughly. Hoping the police will do their job. Meanwhile RIP to d dead. May God console the family

Kai, I de laff in Arabic!

Ifeanyi(from Asaba, Delta state): Abunam onye Igbo (I'm not Igbo)

Tejiri (from Abraka, Delta state): No, is a lie, you are Igbo!

Ifeanyi: No, I am from Anioma.
Emeka (from Abia state): is Anioma not Igbo language, which means Good/Beautiful Land?

Ifeanyi: No, is not Igbo language but resembles Igbo language.

Tosan (from Warri, Delta state): Even your name Ifeanyi is Igbo! So what are you saying?

Ifeany: well.... Emm..

Preye(from Bomadi, Delta state) All we know is that Delta state belongs to these three tribes: Urhobo, Itsekiri, and Ijaw!! So anybody speaking Igbo language or what resembles Igbo language (as you 'smartly' put it) is not part of us in Delta state Ooo! Know that now.

Amaka (from Anambra state) : So Delta Igbos (or Anioma people), where do you people belong?! These people have made is clear to you people in several ways that you are not part of them (Urhobo, Itsekiri, and Ijaw). See how Warri and environ is being transformed into a mega city, one would think its the state ccapital!! While Asaba is just there in name as the state capital. Even Oghara rose from the sub-urban into a mega town!! Delta North, SHAME!!

Joseph: Wait, but how can a people who speak a language that belongs to a particular Tribe claim they are not from that tribe!!

Chukwuma (from Obiaruku, Delta state) because our parents say it is the Igbos that caused the war when they did the first coup in Nigeria. And this made the Delta North people to suffer much during the war especially Asaba people.

Adamu (from Kogi): The Soldier who plotted that coup was Maj Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu from OKPANAM, ASABA, DELTA state, do you realise that? So in the real sense of it, you people caused the trouble you blame the Igbos to have caused!!!
