No visa is easy these days.
Be ready to put in work and patience

As lab scientists, check the assessing body requirements. I think you have to do some special exams.

Hey. As a pharmacologist, your occupation group is actually life scientist (NEC). Meaning you are eligible for both 189 and 190. I'm about to do my vetassess assessment. Can we connect?

What do you want to use it for? I'm only asking out of curiosity because it's only ACT that has it on their list.

Please my good people, I want to ask a question..my uncle's daughter did 18 months Diploma of Nursing and wants to further with an Advanced Diploma in Nursing ( 0ne year course but she was given extra 18 months in her visa extension) since she can't afford the fees for degree courses at this moment...

pls is it possible for her to get work permit after doing advanced diploma In Nursing at Australia.
She can get 18 months work visa after. My advice though is for her to register as an enrolled nurse and while she is still studying try to apply for a regional sponsorship. Did she do her diploma in a regional area?

good evening all....please i need urgent assistance for this whole Australia process. i intend going for my masters in Australia but the whole idea is to get PR after studies
my questions are

1. after i commence school in Australia whats the process for PR and how long does it take to get it. i intend going for Masters in IT
2. which is the best state to school for easy access to casual jobs for my wife and myself?
3. which state would would you recommend to school that can easily nominate one for PR
4. can i apply together with my wife for the visa and later request for my kids to join us after 3 months?

please note i have a good statement and travel history, any advantage with this on my application?

pleas good people help a brother am in a dilema becos i want to sell off something very important to me to take the risk, i really need a working system for my kids, but at the same time i dont want to make a mistake i will regret for my life.

i have read all through nairaland and google i just need people with experience who went through this path to enlighten me more please i beg you.

Godbless
Give me more info and I can help you. What do you have now before ( in terms of degrees and experience) and in case you don't want to disclose, here's what I can tell you. Find a regional school to attend. The competition for IT is really high so you need a lot of scores to be able to apply for PR. I know people who used IT to get PR via Canberra but I also know they closed their list recently

Thanks for your priceless contribution. Well have tried considering early childhood education but there are quite a number of factors am considering such as:
1. Relevance outside Australia.
2. Gender- I mean will it not be more fitting for females than males.
3. Personal interest.
Thanks once again for your advice and will look forward to the recommendation of other gurus in the house.
Relevance outside Australia - it is easy to transition an Australian career to other countries
Gender - doesn't matter
Personal interest - only you can decide that.
Digital learning can be applied to all three but for it to count you have to have teaching experience in any of these places and your claimed experience has to count. Nobody is going to offer you a job teaching children if you did a master in digital learning unless you have a relevant first degree and experience.

sometimes around January, I visited my then girlfriend at home. She was the only one at home that day. We have not started dating that time I'm still on the level of persuading her and stuffs. She sat down on a sofa opposite me, all the thing I dey talk, she never respond. She was giving me one worded answers. After some minutes, the devil just talked to me to move closer to her, as I did she pushed away the first time. The second time I grabbed her waist, she pulled me to herself and gave me some hot kiss. I ended up sucking her till evening when i heard a knock on the door. And when I left, she did everything possible to make it seems like it was my mistake and rather not her fault. Girl will not enter heaven
You raped that girl. She pushed you away and you had the guts to grab her waist. Whether you accept it or not, you are a fucking RAPIST and you owe her an apology.
Next time, if she pushes you away, you apologise. Anu ofia.

The officers showed a LOT of restraint. The man was huge, advancing towards the officers, shouting, and clearly in the throes of a psychotic episode, so he is EXTREMELY lucky that he did not get shot full of holes during that tense encounter.

The number one rule when confronted by police is to COMPLY with their orders, or possibly die from their bullets, for resisting arrest. It is just idiotic to try and fight the police in ANY country, least of all the USA, and ESPECIALLY if one is of the black persuasion.

Again you misunderstand, you and i will never fully integrate here, i came at 33, i am never going to have the same mateship with people who were born and grew together and that is my point, Australians find it harder to let new people into their existing social circles, even other white people have reported the same, just moving from Sydney to Perth is a no no for lots of people and once they attempt it they experience the same. And as for you bottom feeder comment, make of that what you will, my reference is to ambition, not to people's station in life. I am telling all these people to come here with ambitions the size of mountains(not that religious mumbojumbo shit) and the cujones to back it up! And to avoid people who will put down your mentality, how is that a bad thing? You would have them socialise with white racist brickies/cleaners who will constantly tell them they are less then them or black people who have been here for ages and done nothing with themselves and would readily tell you its cos no one gave them a chance cos of their skin colour?
The advise i have given these people is the same our parents gave everyone of us growing up, you are who you associate with, now maybe your understanding of what i have said is that every low skilled white person is racist or every low skilled black person is emotionally challenged, thats not what i meant to convey and thats missing the bloody point. The point is we do those jobs that allow us meet these people cos thats what we have to do to survive when we first come here. Don't become one of them, every society has its low, middle and upper classes, i am encouraging every immigrant here not to fall into the bottom rung, how is that a bad thing?
Finally it says something that of the many positive points i have made, you would only pick the probably inelegant use of bottom feeder i used, so nothing else i said makes sense?
Guy, a lot of what you have said makes a lot of sense. I only voiced what I disagreed with which is the part where you said there is no racism in Australia. Racism makes it that much harder for people to succeed. Fact.
Travel / Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by soopamom: 5:15am On Apr 15, 2018

Did you come to Australia to socialise or make money?
If you came to socialise then Australians are cliquishness not racist. Even Poms(white immigrants from the UK) who come here have complained to me that Australians will not mix with them, tough luck. If you have come for money or career reasons then Australia isn't racist and that is where i draw the line with you Institutionalised racism claim.
I am not the only Nigerian or black person at my company, as a matter of fact my company has a stated policy to recruit internationals for diversity reasons, so i dare say if you and a white male rank same in all their metrics, then you will be hired and my company isn't the only one like that. I cannot tell you how many people told me that it cannot be done to get into that organisation, that they would never hire black people, well guess what? They do hire black people, i was not the first and since i got in, i haven't been the last. We even have a parapo association now.
Believe what you will about the country, and maybe you are just planning to come or are new here. My advise for you would be to fix your mindset. Thats what i tell every young person coming here.
Also as much as i advised cutting off black bottom feeders, cut off uneducated/unexposed white people too. I see them everyday at my job, but their bad belle does not affect me, cos they answer to me and not the other way around.
The fact That you make money and bla bla doesn't immediately negate the existence of racism. If you have children, guess who will be at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to socialising and a multicultural experience? Your children. You can focus on making money and Think that's the be all and end all but I feel sorry for your children because you will obviously be oblivious to the many struggles they will face.
Maybe you don't know but you also need to fix your mindset . Calling people bottom feeders and other horrid names is not a nice thing to think or say.

Just as your name, you are SuperWrong!!!! One of the motto of Aussie is multiculturalism hence the diversity of people here, even the locals are few Buh the foreign imports are massive! So where is the racist chants coming from Abuse one racially here and see if your not going to court or paying a law suit that you will pay for the rest of your life. Hear say is hear say, hope it makes sense

Let me tell you my story, i came to Australia/WA in only 2015. Every low level tom, dick and harry i met told me Australia is racist, one Zambian tw.at even asked me to drop my Nigerian name and get a white name to fool people into thinking i was aussie until it was too late and they meet me as a black dude at the interview, that was bloodly hilarious in retrospect. So i cut off all thosr naysayers
Australia isn't racist, what you get out of it depends on who you associate with.
So my first advise for new immigrants to Australia, stay away from as many black people as you can, especially those that you can see have been here for long and made nothing of it (Sudanese etc).
Listen i have posted my story here on this very thread before. It isn't unique to me, i have white people i work for and who work for me, Australia isn't racist, you are the one who is responsible for making yourself a 1st class or 3rd class citizen here.
It is what you make of it really
Guy. If you know the meaning of racism then you will know that racism is not about one person or his/her experience. Australia is fucking racist. Their own racism is even institutional and is obvious in the way they classify and segregate people based on their origin. It doesn't mean THAT Australia is not racist. Make no mistakes about that. Australia is FUCKING racist. More racist than America, UK or Canada.

He is right. Racism is through the roof in Australia. It doesn't mean he shouldn't or can't come if he wants to. But Australia does not have a culture of acceptance especially for black people.

Thanks, are you trying to say, i can prepare for PTE wothin 2days?
It depends on your current level of English proficiency. Have you always been good at english exams? If yes, then you can. Just read up on describing graphs and maps and brush up on your essay writing and you are good to go. if not, maybe you need to put in like 3 hours a day for one week before you write it. You can check out sample tests and other people's stories.

Good morning guys,

A friend referred me to this trend some days ago, I urgently need your advise biko.

I used an agent to apply but they have been very disappointing, been having issues ranging for poor service to delayed updated and uploaded of provided documents. It was like a tog of war before they even uploaded my visa application in December 22.

I requested for the documents that they uploaded for me after going through what most people on this platform attached some days ago and I noticed that My statement of purpose (Sop) was not attached, my sponsors statement of account was not attached too as against what they filled in the application page (see attached pic).

Prior effort to take charge of my application myself after discovering there incompetence have not been fruitful as they keep declining to give me the pass codes to my account

I am confused at this point , I'll appreciate your kind advise please.

Thank you
The only way to hijack your application is to get your transaction reference number. It usually comes in the letter sent after youvpay for your application. Is your agent registered? If they are report them to MARA.

I was contacted some minutes ago to provide further information. On checking my mail, I saw Evidence of study undertaken in Australia. late commencement date letter from your university/institution of study. This made my eyes roll. I immediately became bad with English Language. Can someone translate this to me.

On a second thought, I remembered stating in my SOP that I am doing a research course and my resumption date is flexible.

Let me share my timeline to get insightful contribution as to what is happening here.

Medicals: 22nd November 2017
IElTS result: 8th December 2017
Visa submission: 15th December 2017
Biometrics: 18th December 2017
Resumption date:1st January 2018
Next available date:1st July 2018

My thoughts: I think my CO looked into my case and decided since I am going for a research course, if I can provide a late commencement date letter, they would grant me visa without the need for deferment.

The only wahala be say today na Friday and that's Saturday midnight in Aussie. If not I for give them the Kate commencement date letter immediately.

My Question: Has anyone been in this kind of situation before?
How feasible is it to get such letter from Macquarie University. If anyone has collected this kind of letter before. Me nor expect am oh, I don put mind for deferment. E be lyk say God dey use this guy.

I will appreciate any input, suggestions comments and way to go on thus matter. Anticipating your response e-fam

One contact your school and ask if they can give you the letter. Then go to the program page where it is stated that your program is flexible. And get the url as well as a screen shot and direct them there explaining that you have sent a letter to your school but pending that you are tendering this in case it will suffice. Just my 2 cents. I haven't been in your situation before
