Politics › Re: Why Do The Igbos Refuse To Go Into Manufacturing? by sosowater: 11:47pm On Dec 03, 2020 |
RedPanthar: It's a lie. I'm setting up a few production outfits Nobody is determining my location. The FG doesn't determine the location of. Nada
My. Uncle has the largest bakeries for example in my place when asked to. Move out he says he wants to promote business activity in his place.
Let me give you cogent examples the igbos need to do some serious soul searching.
I've heard Nnamdi kanu offered 200 Million Naira for some person's head. Do you know the average production outfit doesn't cost more than 150 Million Naira
Anambra alone can produce 1000 men that can cough out 150 Million in just a few seconds. Why can't they raise these so called group of business men with like minds under the auspicies of Igbo business men for the development of SE and setup 1000 industries.
If SE has 1000 industries creating 50 jobs per industry, that's 50,000 jobs created by Ndigbo for Ndigbo. The igbos have the talent. I've seen them operate heavy machinery in different market locations. And I weep each time I see them operate and wish they could be more. But they are blinded
Rather than chase politics groups like Orange can summon rich igbo sons and daughters to set up industries and before you know it 1000 industry will. Grow to 5000 industries and 50000 jobs to 250000 jobs. The Ndigbo already have financial flow and finance in banking industry and will provide the support.
It's simple. I've been very angry with igbo elites. If my tribe has much of what they have I will be cursing my elders daily. I hope and pray they discover what they have Be angry with your tribe for not having that financial power. Your previous posts shows that you hate igbos, business and politics aside. We hope to see the industry you are setting up. And I guess you and the creator of this thread are same. |
Politics › Re: Why Do The Igbos Refuse To Go Into Manufacturing? by sosowater: 11:41pm On Dec 03, 2020 |
Aconomist: That is not entirely true. Igbos don't lack wealth or capital. The problem is that most wealthy Igbo tend to brainlessly amass land instead of using their capital for production. This, I believe, is a major reason why the SE is underdeveloped.
If you want to look at land wealth in Nigeria, Igbos are probably the wealthiest in Nigeria. The capital is simply being misallocated to non-productive investments. South East Underdeveloped? Well, from your writings, I guess you are just a bittered human. So they ain't using their capital for production? You're a sadist man and nowhere near economics. |

Chicago213: Thanks alot. But I was told and I checked on google too that 200,000 naira is equivalent to over 5 Million Leone in Freetown.
Just wanted to know the cost of living over there compared to Nigeria (was transferred to the country). The purchasing power of that 2mill is the main thing and not it's equivalent in naira. You might be surprised that the 2mill won't sort your rent in Freetown. Nigerians are there. Hoping that someone answers you ASAP |

Benwallt: he is not talking about economics, just value of money, period. I know you are not happy that our naira still surpasses some countries currency but deal with it. I don't even have a reason to be happy. Despite the low value of Indonesian money, they have a working system, better security and infrastructure. That same 1.8million rupees can't rent you a house over there. Forget that naira is greater, but what have we achieved over these countries? Absolutely nothing. Even with crisis, iran has a working system. Praising naira for these so called feat is just like celebrating mediocrity. |

Total trash. And you think 1.8million rupiah will pay your rent in Indonesia?
You need to reset your thinking.
It's just like going to Zimbabwe with 100k and then answering a millionaire when that millions won't even get you anything tangible in Zimbabwe.
You need indepth knowledge of economics. |

myBraine: We wanted a president but God gave us a father.
Only if third term was possible, Buhari would have gotten it on a platter of gold. You just won the heart of millions of Nigerians that trusted in your leadership. The opinions of few minorities didn't really matter as it is the digitization of our society that needs total reform and not Sars.
Our youths are too preoccupied with the utilization of expensive gadgets at the detriment of our agro-based economy. The recent hike in the prices of rice across the country have the youths to be blamed. Imagine if the youths devote the equal amounts of time they spent in front of their gadgets to agriculture, would there have been an increment in the prices of food stuffs? Imagine if they're spending more time on trees and inside bushes, would Sars still be killing them in scores? The youths are preventing the coming generations from knowing our true calling and the beauty of our culture. Aside crude oil, Nigeria as a nation is known for agriculture as we're still far behind in manufacturing and precise engineering. Our technological feet is strongly questionable as well.
Nigeria needs the youth for agriculture. Simple! Agro sector? You forgot what has been happening in farms across Nigeria? How can people embrace agriculture when animals will destroy their crops or get themselves kidnapped or killed while in the bush? Let's all be wise in our sayings. |

ILoveDemMANNA: Excerpts : For those who might not know yet , this is an earth breaking and game changing event . what this means is that the journey to Lagos to clear goods , get harrassed by touts , task force and State government agents is over , the current extortion happening along Lagos - Onitsha express way , the bandit attacks , the armed robbery is over and the hard toll on Benin-Ore expressway will be a thing of the past. Totally false. All goods heading to onitsha will be cleared in Lagos. Containers can only move to onitsha when there is congestion in Lagos. Now, you all should stop the Buhari praises. The person that made this possible and commissioned it was Dr George Moghalu, MD Nigeria Inland Waterway Authority (NIWA). When we can say that there's Onitsha Port is when containers vome in directly from foreign countries and custom clearance done in Onitsha and not Lagos. The propaganda should just stop. |

livinus009: Good evening guys. So this is the first time I'd be writing a post or thread on this section; It's about a Nigerian dating site that I joined out of curiosity. So, on Saturday morning while I was reading a thread here, I saw a sponsors Ad here on Nairaland - a Dating website. Out of curiosity, I joined the site, passively chatted a few girls up so arrange for Hook-up, even made sure I did a WhatsApp video call with her after we exchanged numbers so as to be sure if she was real.
Today we met, she seems to be very cool and sensible. Before now I had always thought online dating and the hook-up thing was a scam in Nigeria.
Am not trying to do some sort of advert or whatever for them, but I think for the fact that I was able to meet the girl on person, a good girl for that matter, they deserve a 5 Star rating from me.
Check the site, maybe you'd find what your looking for there:. https://emilydates.com/r/2chgd7 You already advertised and you're one of them. Emilydates is so fake. The app owners created fake female profiles to entice men and lure them to subscribe |
Romance › Re: What Do You Think About Emilydates? How True Is It by sosowater: 4:44am On Aug 30, 2020 |
The worst website ever. Don't ever subscribe. All those female profiles are bots. If you ask them direct questions, they won't answer and then give one kind funny reply. Don't put your credit card information there or visit a Facebook page outside there. If you do, you're on your way to being hacked mercilessly |
