Balanciego:Cool Thanks. Any new crypto to airdrop? Am motivated. Another, do they care about the likes, shares and retweet on the post or just the post? |
Nkemzy8:Thanks. Will act accordingly |
Balanciego:Ok. Thanks .I will download the Abra wallet and let you know how it goes. Thanks. *Modified I just downloaded the Abra wallet and it exactly what you described it to be; stock trading floor that accepts Bitcoin. It's kinda cool, but it's a no no for me now, unless you will be gracious enough to tip me on stock to purchase so my dough won't swim. Thanks. Am really interested in the IEO, please how can I go about it? Lastly, always have it at the back of your mind that there are lots of people who appreciate what you are doing here. Same goes to others who have been contributing, and our Crypto CNN; Nkemzy8 |
Bitcoinbeer:It's not fair... You guys should try explaining these new terms to us, please. A good number of us are lost here? ETF, IEO, etc... What can a lay man's mind make of these things ![]() It's as though we willfully entered a room to be blind but amused. Abeg we wan see then chop. |
Inehmesit:You will go to their site Luno.com and register. For the ID VERIFICATION, there are 3 levels which have their respective limits. And for you to start buying and selling Bitcoin and Ethereum which are the 2 crypto they offer now, you need to do the I.D verification. LEVEL 1: You confirm your phone number and basic Personal details like name, date of birth, BVN, etc. LEVEL 2: You Submit photo/scan of government-issued ID (national I.D, International Passport, Drivers License, etc) and selfie photo. LEVEL 3: Submit proof of residential address (utility bill, bank statement which have your address, etc.) For the limits on each level... The limit here refers to the maximum naira value of crypto (btc and eth) you can deposit or withdraw from your account MONTHLY. LEVEL 1: 200K LEVEL 2: 500K LEVEL 3: 10MILLION. So try to abide so as not to have issues with them. And anytime there is a challenge, reach out to their help centre, they respond speedily. I advice you use the app, it's way smoother there. All the best. |
Balanciego:So basically it's about publicising a new crypto right? If yes, how will the company know that you are doing that? Like... How will they check your post on FB, Twitter and the rest to know your efforts? That first question. Expect more ooo. |
bennexboy:Is he really gay ![]() Shit. Naija culture no go quick accept am ooo |
Balanciego:You are making us salivate over here. First trading, now airdrop... Hope we will begin soon? Well... We can't run out of patience. |
Who still remembers this story? Plus, where did all the money donated for the alleged rape victim go to ![]() Naija... Am perceiving a Broad day light scam, but what do I know... |
Inehmesit:You are the boss. What questions? You can put it up here so others who know better can also give an answer. Otherwise, you send a PM. |
Bayokun:I just read the thread about vintage. So sorry for your lose. You need not be told what to do to avoid such again? On the other hand, you can gain from Bitcoin on your own without giving money to anyone simply by following this thread to learn the crypto trading secrets from the op just like me and others or setting up your own Bitcoin rig if you want to chew pieces of meat. All the best. |
Bayokun:No. Please what does that mean? |
Olgasmith:Please what do you mean by pool made public? I connect my miner to a pool, each time a block is found am credited hundreds of thousands of satoshis based on my hashrate at the time the block was found. I don't claim to know much but could I be wrong in that? And the fact you keep saying I don't have antminer... I don't even know, maybe God credits me in Bitcoin and I withdraw through luno. The guy who created this thread have made me understand that this is a public forum so anybody can say anything. For the guy who asked if I mine with firewood... I don't. I use local whiskey to produce cheap electricity, read it up on Google. You just need to know your positives and negatives to not create C4. Lol. Cheap and almost steady electricity where I stay is not something I should factor all the time. That's why I didn't include it. But in my post I urged whoever reading it to consider that. |
Balanciego:Thanks for your response... It really put a lot of things in perspective. Things change and I wouldn't argue with you till you go back into it and confirm for yourself. I would like to know the experience you had with SlushPool back then so I would be more careful. It may be pieces of meat now but am hopeful for something big soon, and am not Tryna gamble. Would love to learn the crypto trading you talked about if only you can break it down a little for us here as you promised so we wouldn't loose much when we go into it. I also want to say it's nice you created this thread and there are lots of people who want to learn the stuff you got. |
Olgasmith:I didn't include electricity cost, it's cheap and almost steady here. And that is without the script. Am using SlushPool and they find many blocks daily that's why. 3 weeks ago it was about $3.4 till the increase of btc recently. |
Was offline for a while, ROTD 3 Brought me back. I just read funny things here, someone said I earn nothing, the other is asking for a proof. After showing the proof what next, you will dash me your money or what ![]() Is that the attitude that will make someone share his secrets ![]() For the guy that have heard of scripting, that means it's really right? Why don't you get someone to do it for you then? It's rare, plus those things come from Darkweb and you know how things go down there, especially if you are a newbie. Am not here to brag. And please, am not selling anything online, never will. We are all here to learn and share knowledge. Period. I guess I will stop here. |
Bitcoin mining is the backbone of the Bitcoin network. Miners provide security and confirm Bitcoin transactions. Without Bitcoin miners, the network would be attacked and dysfunctional. Bitcoin mining is done by specialized computers. The role of miners is to secure the network and to process every Bitcoin transaction. Miners achieve this by solving a computational problem which allows them to chain together blocks of transactions (hence Bitcoin’s famous “blockchain”). For this service, miners are rewarded with newly-created Bitcoins and transaction fees. #Copied_ from Buybitcoinworlwide.com HOW IT WORKS Bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency. Bitcoin mining can be sub divided into two sections, the ‘PROOF OF WORK’ (POW) (which we would focus) and ‘PROOF OF STAKE’(POS) To verify these transactions, miners need to solve mathematical problems, which become increasingly more difficult the more miners there are. The more complex the cryptography problems, the more computational power needed to solve them. Bitcoin, and pretty much every other notable cryptocurrency available, relies on miners to handle the transactions done in their respective blockchains. In POW: You buy a Bitcoin mining device; ASIC miner (Application Specific Integrated Circuit miner) and run it for a long period of time daily (possibly 20hours or more). Any device which is not ASIC will not yield you much profit in the long run when you factor electricity cost, so best advice is to go for devices specially designed to mine crypto. As long as the device is functional you the owner of the miner will be rewarded for running the device. Now the reward is relative to the hash rate your device provides to the mining pool you join. The mining device I use is AntMiner S9 which cost about 250k. AntMiner S9 runs at the rate of 14TeraHash per second (14th/s). Last year with this device you get Bitcoin value of $12 daily but due to the increasing difficulty of Bitcoin mining you get barely $5 daily at the moment (including electricity cost). It's not a bad idea investing in this machine if you can afford them in their number. Imagine you buy 4 or 5 of this machine, you get $20 -$25 daily or a little more above it cause this is just an estimate. AntMiner S9 is not the only ASIC miners for Bitcoin, there are other more profitable ones though on the higher side; example AntMiner T15 (23th/s), with this you get about $8 daily. Another Bitcoin miner is AnyMiner S17 (50th/s), with this you get $17 daily. There are other companies that produce Mining hardware, AntMiners are produced by Bitmain company, other mining hardware are Dragonmint, Innosilicon, Whatsminer, etc. I haven't used any other one except the AntMiner so can't say much about them but you can always research using Google. As for how to get them, you can use Amazon or AliExpress to order them directly from wherever place you are, and pay with your MasterCard and await it's arrival. I believe I have explained how the mining works and it's profitability. HOW TO SETUP YOUR MINER When you get the miner; let's assume it's AntMiner S9, it will come with the miner itself and the Power suply. The power supply is just a small Machine that has 13 cables. Either you use the manual to set it up or watch YouTube videos on how to do it but it's simple. Just connect each cable to the opening on the top of the miner. When you look at the top of the miner you will see those opening, so place the wires there but make sure it goes all the way down, that is, firm. After that, you will need a router with subscription and good network cause the miner needs to be connected online always to report your miners progress. But it doesn't suck up data the way our smartphones do. Routers come with Ethernet cable, so connect the ethernet cable from the router to the front of the miner. Switch on the miner and router and see the magic. The miner makes small noise, but you can live with it. After switching on the miner, give it like 5 minutes to boot properly. How to know the miner is done booting is if the green light close to the 'NORMAL' inscription in front of the miner starts blinking intermittently. If not, give it more Time. But if the RED one starts blinking, then something is wrong, either those cables are not well connected or no data or service in the router. When the miner is running fine, for the first time it won't be mining into your account, so you need to setup the configuration. For the internal configuration, I will be brief here cause I believe a YouTube video will be a better guide here. Create an account with a mining pool, prefarably SLUSHPOOL or ANTPOOL. There are other pools you can look up. But know that you don't pay to join a pool. After creating a pool, you will get the pool url, use any IP Locator app on your system to get your miner IP address. How to do this it, connect your laptop to the wifi of the router, install the IP locator app in your PC, run the app and hold the IP locator button on the miner then the IP will appear on the PC. Now put the IP in the url box of your browser, it will request for a username and password, they are root, root. When you access the miner page, go to miner configuration, you will see pool 1, pool 2, pool 3, so for pool 1, for url, use the url from your mining pool. For username, put any name you like. For password, type anything but make sure it's not blank. For pool 2 and 3, either you use url address of other pools you have account with or just leave all boxes empty so only pool one will be active (alive). Click apply and give the miner about 5 minutes to reboot and apply those changes and see what will happen. After the reboot, as soon as the miner is running normally once again(ie. The normal light is blinking) login to your pool, you will see you have one worker online. That's it. Again you can login to your miner page and click on Miner status to see what's going on there. I don't know if there is anything I missed, you can ask questions or do your research. My advice is that you factor the miner, router and electricity cost and see how profitable it will be for you before venturing into it. After testing the script that will increase the miners hashrate by 5; thereby increasing profitability, if positive I will inform the house. All the best. Have a nice day. |
AgueroS:No mind the guy. Trying to be rational for an irrational Father. |
DarkJeddi:Highest 845. No be techno, they will play safe. |
Contact your bank. If you don't have their number or mail check their official website. They will send you a reactivation form which you are to fill and scan back to them via E-mail, possibly with some documents like your passport and I.D card, but this should be based on their request anyways. That should be a step in the right direction. They will guide you on what next to do. Please make sure it's the official bank contact number or mail to avoid stories. But how do you intend operating the account outside naija? |
mfm04622:Ok. Later this evening I will type the process for Proof Of Work (POW) mining. Major thing you should have in mind is that it is capital intensive to start based on buying the machine and daily electricity cost. And to gain more you need to buy the mining machines that have higher hashrate. Will put up the full process later. |
CharlesJok3r:I believe what matters is for the guys to be granted bail which have been been done, be released from jail and eventually fulfill their bail conditions. As for suing the school for damages, it can be done later for those who care to. But since the news have gone public, the school is surely loosing on its goodwill; if it had any Sha. |
mfm04622:Yes. |
Yes.
|
RiyadhGoddess:Last guy that did got locked up. VP of NASS. |
blazer2018:No student body there. Not at all |
Dpharisee:Criminal charge on what grounds... Look deep, it's baseless. Only substantial thing there is against one guy called Prince. The others were affiliated na so them join too. Even one of the guys involved did not study at Madonna but was with those guys the day the police came to arrest them, na so he join go jail and stayed for over 5 months before the judge finally showed up today for the hearing. After the hearing he had to grant bail cause nothing happen. Are you aware that the VP of NASS was arrested just for showing up at the court for the last hearing and staging a protest. I mean, why arrest a non-violent protester... The guy have been released Sha, and that led to DSS involvement in the case. |
Angelfrost:It's Nigeria. It's assumed the judge was blessed by the Rev Father to not show up for over 5 months so that those guys will suffer in jail. Today that he showed up he has granted 5 of them bail cause the case no make sense to keep those guys for jail. I pray the other 2 will be granted bail too. |
I went for the court hearing today. I really pitied those guys, 7 of them. @OP, no lecturer was involved ooo. Those guys have been in jail since February for no serious offence. I mean it. The whole reason for their arrest was just to punish one of their former staff severely, and the other 6 guys involved were at the wrong place at the wrong time. And the fact the judge refused to show up on the various dates of the hearing is questionable, but thank God he showed up today after disappointing us grossly yesterday. And he granted bail to 5 of them remaining 2. The lawyers are still on the matter so hopefully all will be granted bail today and released today also, then later fulfill their bail conditions. |
Olgasmith:Funny. I mine with 5 S9 now, the daily profit from each at the moment is $5. No need teaching how to mine normally cause it's common knowledge. So I met a guy who told me about mining with a script, he said if the script is embedded to my miner it will increase the hash rate thereby increasing the daily profit. He is still working on it and from our last discussion it will be ready in 2 weeks time. So when it's ready and I test it to be sure of it I can share with us how to use script on our miners. That's what I meant. Have your heard about using script on miners? Modified: Working on it does not mean he is with my miner... I guess I should not talk much about it till I have tested it. But you can check on YouTube to confirm what am talking about. I will post the YouTube link later |
Balanciego:Of course it is to teach and not to gain. But that will be later when am done test-running this new mining method for about a month. Till then, we will keep learning from you. Lol. Please what is Dapps tech? |
adelekefam:I will teach mine soon, free of charge. I just need to confirm one last thing. Solely on Bitcoin mining; POW. |
