PoliticsThe Hypocrisy Of The Buharist On Nairaland Against Sowore Exposed by sowore2019(op): 6:10pm On Apr 16, 2018
What appears like a child play just some weeks back is already gathering momentum and becoming a threat to all oppositions.
Earlier today I open a thread I Have No Apology For Supporting The Ejection Of Jonathan From Office - Sowore.
There was a lot of contribution and a certain Nairalander alphacyborg decided to open the usual LIKE & SHARE voting stuff, with LIKE for BUHARI & SHARE for SOWORE. Within minutes the sharing soar above the likes. Moments later, in their known hypocrisy he decided to edit his post and change the arrangement. He has forgotten that some people have quoted his initial post before the editing. Check those that quoted him before the editing

His edited post

The truth is they are already being threatened by "Hurricane Sowore", they should know we are not longer practicing the usual partisan politics known in our sphere. It is now Revolutionary.

You made Buhari look like a messiah when we all knew that Buhari was incompetent.

Now we are all suffering, many have been killed and are being killed.

Now ur coming to run for presidency.

You are a joker!
No, he only reported the dirty dealing in the GEJ administration, same way he did during Yar'Adua and still doing now with the Buhari Govt.

The reaction is expected, the same way he criticize the GEJ government, same way he's doing for the Buhari government. He was the one that blew the lid on the following
1. The Secret recruitment at the CBN
2. Buhari health crisis
3. Babachir David IDP grass contract etc.

If he actually want to compromise, he would have submitted his own nominee to the CBN for recruitment but he didn't. He stood for his cause, We need a man of his caliber to steer the ship of this country.

For those mentioning me on this thread You Can't Become Nigeria's President, Without Being A Thief, Musa Tells Sowore

It was an admonishment by the Elder statesman based on how politics was played during their era. It's like telling someone with he can't start business without getting someone to fund it. Of course, youths have been able to break free from such barrier now by innovations and creativity brought about by technology. Same strategy will be adopted for Sowore2019.
PoliticsBalarabe Musa Offers Sowore Prp's Presidential Ticket, Rubbishes Obj's Third For by sowore2019(op): 7:06am On Apr 15, 2018
A former governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa has asked the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, to use the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) as a platform for actualizing his 2019 presidential ambition.

Alhaji Musa who received Mr. Sowore and members of his #Take Back Nigeria Movement at his private residence in Kaduna on Friday said PRP is ready to offer its platform for a presidential candidate that has the capacity and is fully prepared to take Nigeria out of its present woes and socio-economic challenges.

As such, he said the party is inviting Sowore to contest on its platform as current reality indicates that Nigeria needs a young and vibrant political leader who understands how the socio-economic system of the country works and would be able to match his words with action.

"We are inviting you to the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) and by the time you are declaring, I would lead the declaration, because we believe in socialist reconstruction of Nigeria, and striking with a leading role in the economy to ensure peace, equality, social justice, and restoring the dignity of Nigeria," Alhaji Musa said.

The former governor noted that PRP as an organized political party would be willing to join a coalition of political parties being agitated by Mr. Sowore, ahead of the 2019 general election.

He noted a coalition of political parties would be able to tackle the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also dislodge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from power.

"It depends on circumstance, we have always championed the relevance of political coalition and whenever a political party come out to change Nigeria alone, we advise the political party to form a coalition of relevant political parties on the basis of a minimum program for Nigeria, covering national unity, democracy, and social-economic development.

"And that is the minimum condition we require because PRP in its history has never contested an election without being in a coalition in one way or the other as long as our separate existence remains and there is a better alternative," he added.

He observed that the current Nigeria political system has been dominated by corrupt politicians, with ethnicity, cultural and religion bias, who also steals the people's commonwealth to contest elections at all cost.

He, however, asked Mr. Sowore not to join the ‘bandwagon’ in his journey to the seat of power.

The former governor especially dismissed the coalition being championed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Alhaji Musa said those re-grouping to join Obasanjo’s ‘third force coalition’ have nothing to offer the country.

He described the Obasanjo's third force as a "kangaroo coalition" of political jesters who have once failed the country.

"The people associating themselves with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his third force kangaroo coalition has nothing to offer and cannot take us further, and seventy percent of them, I have associated with them in one form or another. They have always disappointed us. If we are forced, we shall mention their names," Alhaji Musa said.

In his reply, Mr. Sowore said he and members of his team in the #Take Back Nigeria Movement are already in talks with a coalition of political parties in the quest for a platform.

He explained that his political campaign to become the next Nigeria President would always be devoid of ethnicity and religious bias, noting that Nigeria is one and will continue to be a united country under his as Nigeria’s president.

The pro-democracy activist also used the opportunity to condemn the attitude of past Nigerian leaders who failed to develop the country, despite having the power and enormous resources to do so.

Mr. Sowore, further told his host that he is ready to disrupt the political system as Nigerians are already agitating for a revolutionary change in government to pave way for a young leader who will digitalize the system and take it back from the current analog old thinkers in power.

PoliticsSowore Counters Apc's Analyst Over Buhari's Chances In 2019 Presidential Electio by sowore2019(op): 7:19pm On Apr 13, 2018
An analyst of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC Mr. Fidelis Unongo, said he is yet to see a candidate capable of defeating incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.

Fidelis spoke on a program which also featured Mr. Omoyele Sowore, the convener of Take Back Nigeria Movement and a presidential aspirant in the 2019 presidential election on Abuja based talk radio station, WE FM on Tuesday.

Ezem Collins, a public affairs analyst, Anthony Ehilebor, a Peoples Democratic Party’s analyst and a member of APC, Akeem Akintayo were also on the program.

Sowore and Buhari
SaharaReporters Media
Unongo said Sowore has to work very hard to fulfill his aim of claiming the presidency in 2019 because the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari who is seeking re-election already had 12 million votes in the bank.

The analyst said, “I’m yet to see any candidate that will defeat President Buhari in 2019. If he is going to beat President Buhari in 2019, he is not going to sleep and I hope he is prepared not to sleep and really work hard,” said Unongo.

He added that President Buhari had always had about 12 million votes in every presidential election he had contested in since 2003, regardless of whether he wins or not.

He also argued that the Buhari administration had recorded some successes which will earn it additional votes.

According to him, Sowore must first look for his own 12 million votes to match Buhari’s guaranteed 12 million votes to stand any chance of defeating Buhari.

While faulting the claims of the APC, Sowore who is also the publisher of Sahara Reporters, noted that with the failures and inactions of Buhari’s government in various areas of national life in the past three years, the fabled 12 million votes are no longer a guarantee for him.

“I want to say that yes, President Muhammadu Buhari has 12 million votes that he takes to the bank every election, but that is minus the Shiites that were killed that is minus Dapchi people, that is minus Plateau, Benue where his herdsmen are running riot, that is minus Abuja, that is minus people who are not getting electricity water and people who have not seen any project from him. So, when you deduct all of that your mathematics will shock you in 2019.

Referring to the heated discussion between him and the Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu at Fresh FM Ibadan last week, the presidential hopeful pointed out that he has been in the business of public opinion molding and news dissemination for 12 years, and he could tell when a president is going out of office by their own design, calculation or miscalculation.

“I have been in the business of public opinion molding and I have been in the news business for 12 years. Having been through 7 presidents in Nigeria, I can tell when a president is going out of office by their own design, calculation or miscalculation. So, I had to let the minister know and prepare himself for the end of the regime in a democratic way. We just had to tell him the truth. I am also in the business of telling people the truth when they don’t want to hear it, “he said

Sowore said the President’s departure from Nigeria to the UK immediately after he announced his intention to seek re-election marks Buhari’s final exit from power.

“Mr. president officially left yesterday in two ways and I’m not Nostradamus - he has gone to London to seek his usual medical treatment, he has exited Abuja and the country and they wouldn’t even tell you when he is coming back. Secondly, when he declared that he was running, you could just see the reactions from Nigerians even the APC operatives here must have been shocked,” he said.
