I did not use a Religious dictionary to arrive at a definition. It was a regular dictionary so when you talk about religious dynamism in context then you are wrong.

Lack you say means disbelief and disbelief is the inability or refusal to accept that something is true or real.

So if you are UNABLE or REFUSE to accept that God or gods are real then SHARE with us how you arrived at this position. It's that simple.

Atheism & Deism is like 5 & 6. they almost the same thing.
If there was a deity, then the earth should have been exactly as the bible's "Garden of Eden" was.
ofcourse, there are numerous entity, you yourself is an entity. Atheism refutes a deity not entity.

Since it's not a present tense but a present continuous tense with you as an atheist then tell me how you arrived at such a profound position. That's all I asked and you should be eager and overjoyed to share this great factual information with everyone shouldn't you? Especially since you are convinced of its truth which gave birth to your atheism.

Please ask them if atheism denies the existence of the First Cause or deities it refuses to accept an entity as a deity .

Eg , this should drive home the message :

Pantheism sees the universe as a deity , now does atheism deny the existence of the universe since it is a deity or it rejects the deitificiation of the universe .

If it denies the deitificiation of an entity that means atheists don't deny the existence of the First Cause , they don't just accept it's deitificiation.

Absence could also be termed as a fact of NOT EXISTING! So it is a profound knowledge to you that God or gods do not exist.

I never used the term I LACK BELIEF in any sort of unicorn be it pink or whatever colour. LACK being the operative word. So how can you speak for me when I never said so myself?

Brahampaul, scepticalpyrrho, obinna58 and Nairalandsars all termed atheism to be A LACK of belief.

Hopefullandlord and Desepiero obviously saw nothing wrong in those positions otherwise I believe they would spoken up. So let me say this in clear terms.

To say you are lacking something means that you want or desire whatever you are lacking. The dictionary defines lack as a "deficiency or absence of something needed, desirable, or customary".

For example I currently lack children. The hungry lack food. The poor lack money. I think you get the idea. So by saying you lack a belief in God or gods, it implies you want to believe in God or gods subconsciously.

My English may be rusty so correct me if what I wrote is wrong based on the definition of atheism you all gave by yourselves which actually depicts your position.

Those are their own definitions and I would have a general discussion eventually. I do however want yours too since you are already here.

Clamouring for DNA tests is one thing. Faithfulness is another.

Even if the Children or child is proven to be yours via DNA does that mean she cannot cheat IN BETWEEN pregnancies?

I also observe that it's the men who are all over the place regarding DNA testing as if it's the woman alone who has the tendency of straying outside the marital union.

DNA is flawed because it targets women and their faithfulness or lack of it but does not expose the unfaithfulness of men unless those men are actually physically caught in the act.

I am an advocate of DNA testing but ONLY for the right reason and not for fidelity tests or stigmatization.
