Nigeria: A country of Many Contrast
For a country to be enormously blessed with mineral and human, complimented with a fertile and arable land, in the length and breadth of its geography landscape and yet have the majority of its population ravished by devastating hunger and diseases is an eyesore, and it seems that could only happen in Nigeria. So bad is the situation that a lot of people are now seeing begging as one of the surest ways of providing for one’s stomach these days. And to make matters worse, a lot of the people at the receiving end, have not only resigned to fate but have also come to accept most of these developments as a norm and in so doing compounding the already dabgerous situation.
You could never find the solution to a problem unless and until you recognize that there is a problem that needed to be proffered a solution. For many of us, we prefer to conceal our pains and suffering with faked and forced smiles - suffering and smiling (apology to late Fela Kuti) – if you would like to call it by what it is. What surprises me more is how some of us deliberately brought upon ourselves these debilitating situations we have found ourselves by our actions or inactions. Tell me, how any rational and sensible person could accept and vote a mediocre for any political position based only on religion and ethnicity and then expects us not to suffer and continue in our reversed trek towards economic growth and development?
Rather than corruption, as most people would want us to believe, our greatest bane is poor leadership. If the head is rotten and sick, you wouldn’t need a physician to tell you the health status of the remaining parts of the body. When you find a good leader, he/she leads by example, and everyone under him/her follows suit. He/she treats all his subjects as equal without preferential treatments. A good leader is not self-righteous or self-conceited; rather, his deeds speak for him/her. But instead of us to collectively search for selfless individuals whose reputation precedes them, with unblemished antecedent, we clamoured for men who had had no meaningful success in areas they had once been trusted with leadership. We even join forces to pull down some few good leaders that came our way by buying into their lies rather than use our thinking cap to question whether the hunger eating up our stomachs is real and if it knew what religion we adhered to or our ethnic background. It cares not, it simply does what it knows how to do best, eat our stomachs up, but when those who are responsible for your hunger what to have your head, they pitch you against your fellow sufferer and tell; “Can’t you see that he/she is not from your ethnicity? Can’t you see he professes a different faith?” Continue to allow them to deceive you and play with your head and intelligence, very soon that same head yours will be the ball they will use to play ‘soccer’ in the pitch of bad leadership. Except you put an end to this your suffering and smiling disposition.
And the greatest culprit of the present bad situation of Nigeria is the youth (I will not stop saying this until we all sat up and took our future in our hands). How can the most vibrant, agile and energetic segment of the country’s population be this passive and dormant in the scheme of things and yet be comfortable even when nothing is working, and things are continuously tilted against them?

Really?
Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe was born in 1904 and so at Independence was 56, and had become a relevant figure several years before then, having being involved in the nationalist movement and fight for independence. Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Sir Ahmadu Bello were born in 1909 and 1909 respectively and were 51 and 50 respectively at independence, and had also become relevant figures several years before. This three were the first premiers of the then three regions, and at independence wielded enormous power - with Zik becoming President and Sir Ahmadu Bello electing not to abdicate his role as the Sadauna of Sokoto to become the Prime Minister but instead made space for Sir Abubakar Tafawa Belewa, who was born on the 1st of October, 1912 and so was 48 year old?
So when did we now resolved that we are going to be comfortable with senile, old, expired and recycle leaders of 'yester' years play "ten-ten" with our future? How could you have expected anything good from them? How can men who got opportunities created by these great leaders I had mentioned above, and even became relevant in much younger age, now come back to you in their 70s, 80s, and 90s, and you were busy stupidly shouting "Sai Baba". See where your Sai Baba has landed you.
Who told you that at 30, 40 and 50 you are too you to rule or be relevant in running the affairs of your country? Who told you that you are only fit to go and stand for hours under the scorching sun to cast your vote and start lamenting afterwards? Can't you see your fault in all of these too?

Nairaland GeneralWhen Will Your Tomorrow Come: A Question For The Nigerian Youth by spafu(op): 7:05am On Oct 04, 2017
What is the purpose of government? Chapter 2 Section 14b of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) holds that the security and welfare of the people is the purpose of government. But that has not been the case with Nigeria where the people at the helm of affairs have misinterpreted it to be the provision of security and welfare for themselves, their family members and cronies while the vast majority of the populace (the rest of us) feast on one empty promise after another. Where then is the servant-leadership that they had told us were the attributes of those who are presently lording it over us?
Yes, I quite agree with Lincoln, or whoever it was who had said, think not of what your country will do for you but of what you will do for your country. However, I also do think that it is sheer wickedness and absolute disregard to the principles of good governance and stewardship for some few, whom we had mandated, to appropriate to themselves what collectively belongs to all of us as a people. It has become a trite to say that Nigeria is so blessed with abundant resources. However, poverty and lack loom, albeit in the midst of plenty and abundance. What an irony, you may say. Are we cursed? It seems more like a self-afflicted curse if there be any.
I have come to realize that there is a section of Nigerians who the entire situation of the country is pushing to the wall. And should things persist in the present manner, unabated, it will, therefore, mean that these sets of people are cut short of a bright future. I am referring to the Nigerian youth. The Nigerian youth cannot stay hungry and foolish at the same time. I can affirm that collectively as youths, we have been FOOLISH for too long. We have kept quiet for too long and watched helplessly for a while, while our future was left to be messed in the hand of failed and expired leaders all because we never, for once, would admit being a foolish bunch of youth. Make no mistake about it I am a youth and very much a part of this foolishness I am talking about. But the difference between you and me, probably, will be that you are yet to accept that you have acted foolishly.
How on earth can any young person be comfortable, campaigning and voting for old and past leaders, who rose to prominence or succeeded in their careers as young people and under young leaders? Tell me, is that not foolishness? Kindly help me with the definition of foolishness, if you don’t mind, maybe mine is wrong. As a class teacher many years ago, I told my pupils, that the stroke of cane they get to receive from me once in a while as punishment was not borne out of hatred but out of love and my desire to chase away foolishness from them - funny right? But don’t you know that one of the Holy books talked about foolishness being associated with a child - and I went further to describe (not define) foolishness for them as, that person, when pushed to the wall, also pushes the wall. What will be the goal of pushing an immovable wall? Isn’t that a waste of energy, when the person pushing you against the wall is in very close proximity to read whether you are enjoying the pushing game or not? Shall you continue to be shoved while you continue to writ in pains? Are you not ready to say enough and mean it? I am shocked at your level of the patient; I am shocked at your level of tolerance amidst all of these happenings that are not in any way bettering your future. Seriously you deserve Nobel Peace Prize for watching patiently, while your future and those of your children continue to be messed up.
AWAKE FROM YOUR SLUMBER
When will you awake from your slumber and docility? Can’t you see that we have given our leaders too much time to turn things around and they have persistently failed us because they lack the capacity to turn anything around? Now, I think, even the most passive youth would agree with me that our patient is running out. Shall we continue to fold our arms and watch while things continue to play themselves out? I doubt much. It seems to me that our period of hibernation will soon be over. It seems we will soon awake from our deep sleep. It seems we are ready to wake from of state of inertia. And when we, the true Nigerian youth, do awake from our slumber, the government and every politician that has made this country unpalatable for us will have no hiding place. Is this threat? It seems more like it, but I don’t know. One thing I do know for sure, however, is that it is a fact. It is a known fact. I am hungry and not only me but most youth who still retain their senses – those who had not sold their heads to be used as political thugs while the children of those whom you “thug” for are treated like prince and princess in the best cities of the world. Do you have any sense at all? Pardon me, I am angry.

PoliticsNigeria At 57: Nothing To Celebrate About by spafu(op): 8:45am On Oct 01, 2017
Any nation that fails to educate and empower its younger generations for ease of transition is a nation whose future is bleak - Shehu Aliyu Francis
Two days ago I had web content project to deliver to a client and some hours to the agreed time there was a complete blackout in power supply in my vicinity. And I only needed to put some finishing touch to give to bring it live. From nowhere, I started to form some thick sweat in my entire body, and the drops from my forehead and running through my neck could be likened to those of a teary sky. And that was because my generator that had always come handy on days like this had developed an electrical fault which had reoccurred the same day I brought it back from the repairer. My only bet, now, was to wait for our extorting-darkness-loving utility provided. And I did more than hold on, such that I could hardly sleep for a thirty-minute stretch. And there was no light throughout that long night. So first thing in the morning, I dashed out to see if I could find another area that had light, “wusai!” The situation almost seemed as if the entire state was in a deep embrace with darkness, and I could only imagine what my client would be thinking of me. I thanked God that the phone housing the SIM he had access to was down- you know, I completely begin to stammer when I am unable to keep a promise, especially in a business transaction. It was while looking for a solution to this quagmire that I overheard a young man telling another that he was on his way to charge his phone. I quickly asked where and I was told, in a Nairabet's Agent betting centre, where they have a standby generator. And lucky for me, the place was in proximity to where we were. And when we got there, boy oh boy, the entire youth population of Nigeria was full representation. Wow! Wow!! Just wow. It seems everyone now plays football betting. I wept for this country. I mean I literally wept for this country, and as I write this, I am fighting back the tears that are lurking in the corners of my two eyes. I could not help but wonder how a nation with this number of young, able-bodied men, who look very vibrant, agile and energetic, be allowed to waste their youthfulness and usefulness in the hope of having a winning or two. A winning that they hope could take them away from their present state of lack and to a state of abundance.
Here in this country, we had a Minister of Labour who was 23 years old and a head of state who was barely 30 years old and a bachelor. At the time the present president of Nigeria, Muhamadu Buhari became the Governor of Borno state in 1975, he was 33 years and was among those telling some of these youth, when they were but toddlers, that they were the future of this country and its future leaders. Today, those youth have come full cycle, and they have been met without a future. Rather, our wicked, corrupt, recycled and expired leaders have succeeded in making them master predictors of winnings and odds. What has become of Nigeria and its youth population?
So you tell me, what is in Nigeria to celebrate? What is a country without future? What is a country whose future leaders are more disposed to betting, availing themselves to be used as political thugs every evil? As for me, if I must be truthful to myself (you can't be more truthful to anyone than yourself) I see nothing to celebrate.
My question to you is, are you a Nigerian youth? Are you asking the right question? If you are a youth in Nigeria and you are not asking the right questions and devising how you could extricate yourself from this bondage you had found yourself, then, believe me, you are equally the problem. Every discomforting situation is an opportunity to take a step to put things right. Are you comfortable with your situation? I leave you with that.

Oga it takes a lot of sacrifice for someone to create a thread to share with others how to make legitimate extra or side money, especially in the face of unemployment, FOR FREE, and your, sorry to say, attitude of wanting to always challenge them is a serious put off, that could discourage them and others from embarking on such kind gestures. And by so doing denying others the opportunity they would have gotten from such fora. Go back to where I first quote you, and swap positions with the op, assume it was that created this thread and someone put what you wrote across to you, how would you have taken? If this were a paid training or seminar, O would have understood that it could be your own way of getting value for money, but for heaven sake, these are free threads.

OracleE:
The key to SEO is a proper understanding of keywords because the search engine algorithm that crawls web pages identify specific keywords and lines out the SERP based on relevancy of the search keywords and no of links you have been able to direct to your site.
Note: Mobile keyword and desktop keyboard differs, so your analytics should give you a direction on where you derive most of ur traffic hence u can adjust.
Google adwords, Google market finder, hubspot app and some other SEO apps should help you research properly on hotcakes keywords and how to tweak your keyword and still be relevant to your consumers.

Social Media is your no 1 friend, use it to push backlinks through hypertext, link shares and CTA.
Always tweak your articles to carry catchy happenings if need be, e.g- during ebola outbreak most people online were usually searching things related to ebola and you can capitalise on that.
Use hashtags to promote a trend.

Other things like site responsiveness, load speed and such also are factored in.

Most important write useful and relevant content that makes people stay longer on ur blog, explore other blog pages, come back and also refer other people is key.
Thank you.
