ceeceeco: Lagos is a product of more than 100 years in the making and THE FCT from 1960-1991, Anambra was only created in 1991.
no logical person will expect anambra to become like Lagos overnight or become like London in just 8years of OBI.
Before tinubu became the governor of lagos state, lagos was already considered one of the finest and richest cities in Africa even before tinubu became the governor.
(Lagos already had international economic boosting infrastructures like airports, seaports, major road networks, football stadiums and many others even before tinubu became the governor of lagos state). Lagos was actually the former FCT.
before OBI became the governor of Anambra state, Anambra never had things like an -airport or seaport Anambra never even had basic things like - a teaching hospital - not even a government secretariat, a government house or a government office, ( can you imagine that?) ? - not even a functioning government school ( the children has been home for two years without school in Anambra). - Anambra was owing a pension debt of #35b - Anambra had the worst security in Nigeria
that was the kind of state OBI inherited so we can not compare him with tinubu who inherited a state that was the former FCT, a lagos state that was already considered one of the finest and richest in Africa even before tinubu became the governor.
OBI transformed Anambra, OBI built -The first teaching hospital -The first government secretariat, OBI also rebuilt the government house and government office -Saved the money that was used to build the first airport in Anambra - restored education in Anambra, taking it from number 26 to number one in Nigeria - cleared the pension debt of #35b he inherited - never owed any worker salary or pension as at the time he was living office - Anambra was eventually declared the safest state in Nigeria during PETER OBI by the then inspector general of police . - during PETER OBI Anambra was eventually declared the state with the highest road network by the federal ministry of works
With all that and many more ACHIEVEMENTS, OBI never borrowed.
Have you imagined what would have happened if OBI inherited a state like lagos as tinubu did?
OBI IS TRULY A GOLD. Toh! Seunmsg, over to you. Food don done. |
Politics › Re: Same Amadi: Adeleke's Appeal Of Tribunal's Decision Will Fail by Spandau: 6:25pm On Jan 29, 2023 |
seunmsg: How you guys have convinced yourself that the report from BVAS is secondary evidence that should be rejected while the same BVAS machine is primary evidence that must be accepted is beyond common sense. If you rubbish the report generated by BVAS, you cannot turn around and accept anything on BVAS as credible. If BVAS cannot generate accurate report of data captured during accreditation, whatever figure is on it also can’t be relied upon.
Again, there is nothing wrong with the first BVAS report as it was used by INEC to announce a winner. The second report that was generated during the pendency of the case cannot be accepted by any court as credible evidence. It was simply manufactured by INEC and PDP to cover the gaps exposed by the first report after APC had filed its petition.
Like I said yesterday, Adeleke’s lawyer must look for a technical point to base their appeal on. If it is still this same argument of secondary and primary evidence that failed at the tribunal that they intend to base their appeal on, they will fail again. If Wole Olanipekun is available, they should engage him no matter the cost. He’s the king of legal technicalities in Nigeria. See enough brisket bones for my guy to chew on this weekend. |

FarmTech: How many Nigerian christians can do that? Rejecting N10 million dollars? That is one way people sell their soul to the devil. If you earn a living or make money by encouraging sin, you have sold your soul to the devil. No rituals is needed.
Matthew 13:41: the Son of Man will send out his angels to gather up out of his Kingdom all those who cause people to sin and all others who do evil things,
Matthew 12:30 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
Luke 17:1-3 Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. They will collect the money and still share testimony on top at Bishop Oyedepo's temple. |

seunmsg: I like and support the Naira redesign policy but the hasty implementation is the problem. If the current new note scarcity remains till Tuesday 31st January, there may be riots all over the country. If CBN has no ulterior motive, I don’t see any reason why the deadline for the usage of the old notes can’t be extended till 31st of March.
The additional two months will give CBN and the banks enough time to circulate the new notes and withdraw the old ones. The current hardship Nigerians are facing in getting the new notes will negatively affect the candidates of the ruling party in the general election. Common sense must prevail now. But the common sense you purportedly seek for in others also eludes you. If not, you would have known that the initial sudden currency change and subsequent scarcity is a well orchestrated machination of Buhari and the Caliphate to prevent what happened at the APC primaries, where Emile O'Corn, much to my surprise, defeated them, from repeating itself. |

seunmsg: We play too much politics with serious issues in Nigeria and it’s unfortunate. We have barely four days to the expiration of the deadline for converting to the new notes and as at today, most Nigerians still can’t get the new notes.
So, should we allow Nigerians to keep suffering and even lose their money simply because some people want to scheme out a particular candidate?
I’m glad Tinubu publicly called the saboteurs out yesterday. Nigerians should take note of those behind their sufferings. They are the real evil people who are desperate to win election at all cost irrespective of the damage they are doing to the citizens and the economy. Shebi they are your friends. |

seunmsg: Why are Peter Obi urchins so obsessed with Tinubu? How is who Tinubu fight or befriend your problem?
This particular OP has opened countless threads to convince Nairalanders that Tinubu cannot win. Now, he’s here to tell us again that Tinubu is fighting Buhari and that’s why he won’t win. The same person who have told us in the past that Buhari is not supporting Tinubu. So, if Buhari is not supporting Tinubu, why are you crying that Tinubu is fighting someone that’s not supporting him? Why is common sense so far from some of you Obi urchins? In Nigeria, politicians fight those who do not support them publicly. Even Donald Trump does that too. So what's your point? Is it those supporting Tinubu that he should fight? Shebi you said Buhari was Tinubus pal. Now that Emile O'Corn has come out to speak, you are pretending you never said that. |

seunmsg: I disagree with your conclusion that it will lead to postponing the election and an extension of Buhari’s administration. I really don’t think that’s the intention of the president.
However, I agree with your other points and I think that’s why even Tinubu had to come out publicly to call out CBN for the shambolic way the Naira redesign is being handled. Hopefully, we won’t see a riot next week if the deadline is not extended. It is only when Tinubu talks that you see anything. |

dustmalik: This is just the simple fact. Some people are hard at work trying to frustrate this election. Some people? Or Buhari and his goons from the North. See, El Rufai, Sanusi Lamido, Psycho Gumi, Babangida, Atiku, Abdulsalami and other power brokers from the North wants power to be retained in the North. The Fulani Agenda had suffered many setbacks and to accomplish the mission, they must hold on to power. |
