Our able governor, more power to your elbows. I had cause to visit the new Seminary school in Awka-Etiti in Idemili South LGA of Anambra state few weeks ago and I saw the developmental projects by the church in the school, but alas, the road leading to that school is a nightmare. It'll be good and encouraging if the Governor remembers these people that ply that road everyday and rehabilitate that road.. This very important road links Awka-Etiti, Azigbo, Amichi, Osumenyi and others. It will benefit a lot of communities and enhance mobility. Long live our governor.
PhonesRe: Why Buying An Andriod Tablet Or An Ipad Is Just A Waste Of Money! by specco(m): 7:36pm On Oct 02, 2014
Blackbeauty: I was actually thinking that when I get one I would be happy for it..I got the cubetalk tablet..truth be told..I miss having a mobile phone..The truth hit me hard after I got a tablet that I actually don't need one..Well,asides using it to read ,its virtually useless.

Firstly, its not sth I can carry about with ease.Asides the large screen size, it offers the same functions as a phone.Just my opinion tho..I think anyone is far better off with a normal 5 inch phone. In the end,u have to buy a smaller phone to use as a second device asides the tab which amounts to another waste of money.in the end..the tablet just sits there gathering dust once the initial buyer's high wears off.

My point is to ignore the hype and don’t buy one just “because everyone else is.” (This goes for any purchase.) Instead, make sure that it will really serve a function for you that your smartphone and laptop don’t. Otherwise, as magical as it may be, it’s just an expensive toy. To sum this whole thing up, I think tablets are a waste.

They fit right in between a full computer and a phone, and I do not see why we need another expensive piece of technology to bridge that gap. For some people, who do not need all the features that a laptop offers, I suppose it makes sense to buy a tablet. However, if you cannot live without your laptop, and you own a smartphone, I just do not see the reason to waste money buying an iPad or some other tablet.

How do you feel about the tablet revolution? can u honestly say you are fully utilizing your tablet? Do you think they are a waste of money?
This is just crap. You rushed out to buy an ipad after seeing some of your peeps/colleagues displaying theirs. You didn't have a particular need for it only that you must join the 'Jonesis'. It is infantile of you to have done so! Lesson learned, next time you should not acquire things just to belong or to oppress the have nots. Nevertheless , Ipad is cool if prior to purchasing one, you had a particular need/needs to meet. But in your case you had none and when the buzz dies off you lay it off. I bought my Ipad on purpose, I love Ipad wide screen, it squarely meets my need which an android phone can't. If you are dealing with graphs and histograms then you will get my drift. I even linked up my dstv account to the Ipad. The experience is awesome.
PoliticsRe: Is There Any Ingenuity In The Design Of Nigeria Flag. (akinkumi Over Celebrated) by specco(m): 7:46pm On Sep 30, 2014
In fact the OP has my thoughts. That flag is too bland and doesn't befit this great nation. Just like a pot of soup with no salt. In the midst of other Nationalities flags, it looks so dull and weak. It needs to be spiced up a bit. I won't begrudge the designer for his recognition and award but certainly the flag design was not a master piece.

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: 50 Lawyers To Storm The Hague For Prosecution Of Sheriff, Ihejirika by specco(m):
Ihejirika dealt so severely and mercilessly with Boko haram and nearly stamped them out. Formerly, he was accused of using brutal force in the fight against Boko haram. Now he's accused of being their sponsor! Anyway, for the insurgents its payback time 'Let's turn the table against him and name him as one of our big sponsors' they reasoned. But unfortunately this one does'nt fly. Nigerians are wiser. When Boko haram starts naming their real sponsors Nigerians will know.

2tek: Adultery is NOT ENOUGH reason for divorce. The bible stated it clearly that the two SHALL become ONE(nd CAN NOT b divorced) and that WHOEVER DIVORCES his wife/husband and marries another has commited adultery. The divorce as a result of adultery can ONLY happen if u have a father's consent to marry his daughter after engagement without bride price. ONCE u have paid the bride price, NO DIVORCE is allowed as a result of adultery. What God has joined together, let NO MAN(adultery) put asunder. This is the position of the BIBLE and the catholic church until some randy half-baked semi unclad mushroom churches twisted it. Click like if u agree.
I'm not in support of divorce but please go back and read that chapter and verse very well before you come here to 'wrongly' share the word. It's not what your church says that matter but what the bible says. Nevertheless , I pray that God will see them through it all and in the end only His name will be glorified.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Ebola: Meet Olu-ibukun Koye The Man Who Took Ebola To Port Harcourt by specco(m): 11:34pm On Aug 31, 2014
This OLU IBUKUN man should be arrested immediately and tried for escaping from quarantine centre in Lagos and deliberately bringing the Ebola virus to PH.His action has plunged the country into yet another round of grief and sorrow. The virus was almost contained in Lagos before this PH outbreak. The worst part is that the highly contagious dead body of the late doctor was not handled with the precaution it deserves. A lot of people must have been infected. God help us.
HealthRe: Sister Of Dead Ebola Doctor Escaped From PH To Abia But Has Been Sent Back by specco(m): 1:03pm On Aug 30, 2014
You people should apportion blame appropriately. Nobody is talking about diplomat IBIKUNLE who foolishly ran away from the lagos quarantine centre and came to PH to spread the virus. Is he not in the same mould with Patrick Sawyer? Sahara reporters made all the effort to shield his identity but thanks to the Rivers state health commissioner who disclosed his identity. Demonising the doctor and his care giver sister and keeping the escapee carrier, IBIKUNLE, out of the picture is not balanced.
PoliticsRe: Late Doctor Knew Diplomat Had Ebola Virus – Govt by specco(m):
But why should Olu ibikunle Kuye the 'diplomat' sneak out of the quarantine centre with so deadly a disease like Ebola? Doesn't he know the grievous implication of this senseless action. He rode an airplane with so many unsuspecting innocent Nigerians on board with him from lagos to Port Harcourt thereby exposing them to the virus. Imagine the chain reaction of his foolish action
The staff of the hotel in which he stayed are at risk
The doctor who treated him, though unprofessionally is dead
The doctor's wife is in danger
All those who had physical contact with the Dr are at risk
The Dr's (now highly contagious) dead body was ignorantly physically handled and deposited at the RSUTH PH, where the morticians and other workers also ignorantly handled the dead body just like any other dead body etc,etc just because of diplomat IBIKUNLE foolish act! God help us.

9jatatafo: More shouting for parents as the kids will stay at home much longer than expected. Anyway I never knew FG love our school kids this much because we still have the Chibok school girls on abduction. Medicine after death.
Even if Mr President takes up the responsibility of cleaning up your back passage each time you visit the 'throne room' you'll stiil say he hasn't done enough! Parents will prefer a 1000times to shout themselves hoarse than to cry themselves hoarse.
EducationRe: FG Closes All Public & Private Schools Till 13th Of October by specco(m):
This is a sensible move though belated. It becomes necessary because kids from divers homes and locations do congregate, in some instances, in very small spaces with poor ventilation everyday for their classes. They should have banned 2014 summer lessons immediately the Ebola news broke out almost 4four weeks ago. We thank God that we are wining the war against Ebola but no precaution is too much. Kudos to Lagos state and the Federal governments.

Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has said that he will consider the option of defection to the People Democratic Party, PDP when satan repents and converts to Islam.
He made the assertion in reply to a question by one of his followers on twitter, stressing that he will hardly take the option. This is coming in the wake of the defection of his friend and former Presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
El-Rufai is a former stalwart of the PDP and served the government during the Olusegun Obasanjo tenure.

It is a pity that since el rufai has been in that rel he has not figured out who his commander- in - chief is. Satan doesn't need to convert to anything, he is already at base pulling down multitudes with him.

IjogzK: Nigerians are wickedddddd. Wickedness is in our blood, we suffer due to our wickedness and that's why God is giving us leaders that are soooo bloody wicked.

There was this particular day in 2007 during the days I was still hustling and entering Danfo's. I was coming back from work that day, very tired when the bus broke down on 3rd Mainland Bridge. Petrol was leaking frm d engine which he fixed. I was still not sure about the bus so I told them that I would rather walk thru the bridge since we already covered 3/4 of the journey. Just as I guessed immediately the guy kicked the engine. Boom there was fire. You wouldn't believe that the driver got down and was begging other cars that was passing for extinguisher. .

No 1 I repeat No 1 stopped. We even joined at Begging. They avoided us like plague. To cut the long story short, the bus got burnt beyond recognition leaving it's skeletal form.

Something that could have been avoided.

I thank God that dere was no casualties. It was as if God sent me to get down. I was the one that opened the door from outside for them
I was comming back to lagos last Sunday and as we got to a place after Ore we noticed that other vehicles at our front were parking and comming out hastily and rushing to an accident scene just off the expressway. It happened that a commercial bus fully loaded with passengers on its way to lagos has skidded off the road after some somersaults. People were frantically trying to help rescue the survivors(there were some deaths and splashes of blood everywhere) when I noticed a young man standing by and coolly sipping from a can of Guinness stout in his hands. I thought to myself 'where did he get the appetite. Nigerians are not all that bad, many do care(if fear factor is eliminated) but some can be totally indifferent like that young man.

HealthRe: Another Nigerian Being Treated For Ebola In Benin Republic by specco(m): 8:19am On Aug 08, 2014
MKSON: Several years ago, Ebola virus erupted in Africa, killing thousands without restrain or cure. The medical world was perplexed. A great man of God by the name John G Lake came to the rescue. Laying hands on infected people who were not to be touched. The slightest contact with any secretion from an infected person is all it takes for transmission. But with bare hands, cleaning secretion and curing every victim, John G Lake along with his Holy Ghost filled team, brought to an abrupt end the spread of the deadly virus. When asked by the medical world how he did it. He had this to say: I have the life of God in me, every virus that comes in contact with me dies. He asked them to get an innoculum from an infected person, observe same under a microscope to ascertain viral activities in it. They did and confirmed living and multiplying virus. He then asked them to put the innoculum on his palm and observe under the microscope. This time there were no more activities. ALL WERE DEAD upon contact with him. What a life! Every child of God has this life! He that has the Son has this life! That higher life that put out Ebola in the days of John G Lake will do the same through you in your day! At the Name of Jesus, Ebola will bow out! Stop the fear! Let this message of hope and faith go viral and the Ebola viral spread will stop! Don't disdain the ever living words of Jesus: And these signs shall follow them that believe, in my Name, they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing (Ebola virus included) it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hand on the sick (those already infected) and they shall recover - Mark 16:15-18.
John G Lake and team are long gone! But I am here, you are here! We can save our world!
We have the life of God in us!
Spread the faith!
Stop the fear!
Spread the life!
Stop the death!
Yes you can!
The world belongs to you!
Cause you belong to Jesus!
Halleluyah
I am greatly encouraged by this write up and the near hysteria fear I had for the Ebola scourge dispelled. Jesus same yesterday, today and forever.
