I had to create a log-in on nairaland for the first time ever today to follow this topic. Its a known fact that this days alot of Nigerians are marrying from anywhere in the world be it China,malaysia, india etc. Knowing fully well that majority of chinese are buddhist and majority of indians are hindus. Despite the religious differences, some Nigerians living in those countries have been able to marry and raise happy families with their spouses from a different religion. Why then does it start a world war if a Nigerian muslim decides to marry a Nigerian christain coz in my opinion I expect it to be a lot eazier than marrying a hindu atleast.
