Ayankunle accused the Fuji musician of poor welfare package for his band members which KWAM1 denied.

While addressing journalists after the meeting, Aseyin hinted that because Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde and Ayankunle Ayanlowo have strong connections with Iseyin, one being an in-law while the other is a son of Ado-Awaye, a community under Iseyin local government, he had no choice than to wade into the crisis and seek peaceful settlement.

“I have heard what Kunle said about his experience at his work and also listened to the video made by his former boss, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde, all I will say is that both of them should allow peace to reign, I told Kunle to stop posting videos, abusing his former boss and has started efforts to reach out to K1 to speak with him and ask for peaceful reconciliation.

“I have read and listened to many angles to the issue from individuals taking sides, but as a monarch, I will want peace and not for this to continue,” Aseyin mentioned.

Meanwhile, the former lead drummer, Ayankunle Ayanlowo told journalists he had been asked not to do any confrontational videos or interviews anymore, which he would abide with, henceforth.

He added that he would rather start to appreciate and pray for those who rallied round him globally when the issue broke out, because they were his backbone.

“They said I should not attack anyone anymore through social media or live interviews and I have agreed with the monarch, I just want to start by appreciating all those that stood with me during my travail till now, those that heard my voice and have supported me morally, spiritually and financially.

“I pray that the Lord Almighty will not abandon them all, their children will never suffer in their effort to seek for survival,” Ayanlowo prayed.

Fuel Price Drops Dramatically: Petrol Now N570, Diesel N920 as NNPC Adjusts Pump Price Nation-wide

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has made a significant decision to reduce the depot price of petrol, also known as Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), from N640 per litre to N570 per litre. This reduction will be implemented through direct allocation to independent marketers, according to Abubakar Maigandi, the national president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN).

In addition to lowering the price, NNPC has assured marketers of increased supply. Independent marketers have already paid for the product at the new petrol price last week, Maigandi confirmed. However, he highlighted that only 1% of the product allocation was provided to marketers instead of the expected 50%. This has led to a change in the market, albeit on a small scale.

Maigandi further explained that the depot price has decreased from N640 to N630 per litre due to the direct product allocation to independent marketers. NNPC is now selling petrol at N570 per litre. This move is expected to reduce reliance on private depots for product supply, ultimately resulting in a drop in retail prices.

Earlier data from NNPC revealed that the price of petrol surged by 157.57% in February 2024 compared to the previous year's rate. However, with NNPC's new approach and promises of increased supply, it is likely that the cost of petrol will decrease in the near future.

BREAKING: Binance Executive Escapes Custody in Nigeria

Nadeem Anjarwalla, a Binance executive detained in Nigeria on charges of tax evasion and other offenses, has managed to escape from custody. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Anjarwalla, accompanied by his colleague Tigran Gambaryan, broke free from the Abuja guest house where they were being held, taking advantage of a visit to a nearby mosque for prayers during the ongoing Ramadan fast. Anjarwalla, who holds both British and Kenyan citizenship, is believed to have fled the country via a Middle East airline. It remains unclear how he managed to board an international flight, as his British passport was still in the possession of Nigerian authorities.

Authorities are now working to determine Anjarwalla's intended destination in order to apprehend him and return him to custody. An Immigration official has stated that the Binance executive left Nigeria using a Kenyan passport, but they are currently investigating how he obtained this document since he had no other travel documents besides his British passport at the time of his arrest. Sources claim that Anjarwalla and Gambaryan were being held in comfortable conditions and were granted certain privileges, such as access to telephones, which Anjarwalla is believed to have exploited in planning his escape.

The Head of Strategic Communication at the Office of the National Security Adviser, Zakari Mijinyawa, has been contacted for comment but has yet to respond. Anjarwalla, Binance's Africa regional manager, and Gambaryan, a US citizen overseeing financial crime compliance, were detained upon their arrival in Nigeria on February 26, 2024. They were later charged with multiple offenses and remanded in custody for 14 days by a Magistrate Court in Abuja. The court also ordered Binance to provide the Nigerian government with data and information regarding Nigerians trading on its platform. Binance's refusal to comply with the order resulted in an extension of the officials' remand to prevent tampering with evidence. The case is scheduled to resume on April 4, 2024.

In addition, the Nigerian government has filed a four-count charge against Binance Holdings Limited, Anjarwalla, and Gambaryan in the Federal High Court in Abuja. The charges accuse them of providing services to subscribers on their trading platform without registering with the Federal Inland Revenue Service and failing to pay relevant taxes. The government alleges that these offenses amount to money laundering, terrorist financing, currency speculation, and market manipulation, which have contributed to the devaluation of the Nigerian economy and the weakening of the Naira against other currencies.

It is worth noting that Binance has recently been embroiled in legal troubles globally. The crypto exchange platform pleaded guilty in the United States to criminal money laundering charges and agreed to pay $4.3 billion in fines. Binance founder and CEO, Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, pleaded guilty and agreed to step down. His criminal trial has been postponed to April 30 by a US court.

Olasunkanmi Filani, the elder brother of popular Nollywood actress, Mosun Filani Oduoye has called out his sister for solely recovering the corpse of their brother, Olatunbosun Filani and buried him without knowledge of other family members.

Olatunbosun Filani, was allegedly murdered by police officers in Abeokuta, Ogun state in 2010.

Mosunmola Filani in her social media post in 2020 revealed how she had to search for the corpse of her younger brother from one mortuary to the other, revealing that she had yet to know what led to his death and who shot him.

Posting a photo of her late brother, she wrote; ”Nigeria failed u in 2010, my sweet brother. U were 25years old then.

”Officers from eleweran/obantoko Abeokuta killed u on Friday evening, but we were notified on Sunday morning. We don’t have the full details of what happened or how it happened till date.

”We went to both station, but we were treated like criminals, and chased away. I was able to locate ur corpse thru the help of a big area brother back then… We went to all the mortuaries in Abeokuta one after the other tipping them to let me search thru their abandoned corpses by police.

”When I found u at ijaiye state hospital u were naked and dead but ur hand was still on ur stomach where u were shot and I could see the bullet hole. I shouted, rolled on the muddy floor, I sat amongst the many corpses and held u, my handsome brother before I was dragged away.
”They never wanted us to locate ur corpse at all.
”But today We Nigerians are saying NO MORE!!!

”RIP OLATUBOSUN OLUWATOSIN FILANI. POLICE KILLED U IN 2010. #endsars #endpolicebrutality #endunlawfulkillings", she wrote.

But in a chat with our reporter, Olasunkanmi, her elder brother querried her for not carrying other members of the family along before going ahead to bury him alone. He added that he suspected foul play because the spirit of his brother (Olatunbosun) appear to him always crying for help.

He also revealed how she (Mosun) wanted to do same thing to their father who died in 2015 as a result of the shock from Olatunbosun's death.

According to Olasunkanmi, Mosun Filani tried all she could to bury their father alone like she did to their brother as she even used soldiers to harassed him after he refused to release their father's corpse to her (Mosun).

He thanked the family members of their dad who supported him claiming he's the elder brother and have more right over their dad than her. He revealed because of that, Mosun never showed up at their father's burial at Ikole Ekiti in Ekiti State.

Olasunkanmi also revealed how arrogant and disrespectful Mosun is after she rose to stardom in the film industry. He described how she maltreated her family members with the support of their mother.

According to him, his coming out against Mosun Filani is not borne out of jealousy but to find answer to what she did to corpse of their brother (Olatunbosun) and where he was buried. "I asked my mother about where my brother was buried and she couldn't give me any answer and I have also asked her (Mosun), she also didn't say anything and a reason I cry out because I have right to know where my brother is buried", Olasunkanmi said.
